Piece of junk. Used it twice and one of the magnets fell out of the housing. I didn't realize the net was gone until I was way up river.

The net is ok. The magnetic release works well but the meshes in the bottom of the net are large enough that smaller trout (around 14 inches or smaller) are able to slip out through the meshes. Really liked the rubber mesh or netting as hooks don’t stick and the magnetic holder is great, and it lands fish just fine...would buy again.

Very well constructed and has a nice esthetic which makes it not only nice to use but also nice to look at if that matters much. It has a detachable magnet that makes it easy to remove from your vest when you need it, and not a hook or clip that I've found that other nets tend to have. Just make sure that you have the tassel that the magnet is connected to securely attached to your vest, so that when you go to pull it off for use, you aren't losing an important part that you need. Ideal for larger fish, as the size of the holes make it easier for smaller ones to slip out. The net it self is made out of a rubber material, which is a nice upgrade from the fabric material nets that I'm used to.

Net looks pretty good for the money. I have yet to get a hook stuck in it. Very soft gel material and I think it definitely helps the fish and decreases hands on activity. The quick detach is also really nice. We will see how it last through the season.

I bought this for a trout fishing trip as an upgrade from the normal fabric material nets. The rubber net is the way to go...your hooks don't get caught up near as bad. Having the magnet connect at you neck allows you to keep the net nice a tight to your back as you go through the woods and you can easily pull it and get your fish without running out of cord to reach the water. The net is on the larger size of trout nets as well.
Everything is this kit is good quality and I would recommend it to fellow fishermen.
