I had this knife for all of 5 seconds before I cut open my thumb on the serrated part while unsheathing it improperly.

Tip: If you are right-handed, grab the knife handle with your right hand, and using your thumb, lift/push the sheath away from the handle. DO NOT lift/push with the hand holding the sheath.

I like the quality, look, and feel of this knife, and the fact that the sheath kinda snaps onto the knife so it won't just fall off accidentally, which could be dangerous. For a good knife such as this, a pair of cutting gloves, and two oyster-shucking knives, the price seems about right. It's easy to hold, feels good, is plenty sturdy, and it's a dream to fillet with.
