We had high hopes that this would help us with food preservation and storage because we do a lot of meal prep, especially for our college daughter who is away.
The pros of this are:
It's small and compact, easy to transport and store.
Charges quick
Easy to buy the pouches/bags to use with this.
The cons of this:
Suction was actually only ok
No matter what food we tried to seal into the pouch, especially any liquid, there was leakage

Overall, this was ok. The pouches we got with this all seemed to leak a bit of liquid. Solid food was ok, so far as we can tell. But we were hoping things like soup or that were moist would seal in better. Honestly, for dry foods, this would likely be ok. But we'd likely revert to using double zip lock bags to store liquid foods.
