I bought these to make fruit leathers and they’re a perfect fit for my Nesco FD-79 dehydrator. Fruit leathers have always been a problem for me in the plastic trays that came with my old Ronco and new Nesco machine. Leathers would stick and never came off in one piece.
These arrived yesterday and I happened to have an overripe cantaloupe in the fridge. I blended the fruit, poured the liquid into the trays and set the machine for overnight. Overripe cantaloupe is mostly water and the leather was very thin, but these trays are flexible and the leather came off in one piece. Today I used leftover applesauce, and this leather also came off easily. (I first loosen the outer edge of the tray all around and work towards the middle.) The floppiness of these trays can make cleaning difficult, but I lay them in the plastic dehydrator trays and scrub them flat. Leftover little bits of fruit comes off easily.
They’re such an improvement over the white plastic trays and well worth the price.. I’ll be making fruit leathers a a lot more often.

Unfortunately, I missed my return window. The liquid capacity was ok but these are definitely not non-stick. I dehydrated several different products including sour cream, milk and marinara sauce. Everything I made was difficult to remove from the silicone. Also, despite soaking them for a while and sponging, I would still find specks on food product on them. Compared to other trays I’ve used in the past and the non-stick flat mats, these are difficult to clean and do not live up to the function for which they are intended.

These didn't work at all. The fruit took much longer to dry. Condensation was created inside and water formed on the fruit. Then, mold formed on the top before they had finished drying due to the water.

I've been struggling with my fruit leathers sticking to the dryer sheets so I tried these. Problem solved, they don't stick much and they are deep enough to allow me to make thick fruit leather. Thicker fruit leathers tend to come up in one piece than thin ones do. I ordered 4 more of these and gave way my old sticky trays. They came in the mail super fast too.
