Answer: I have had mine for at least 6 months. It hasn't rusted but the metal coating has peeled off in spots leaving a grey colored dull metal. That has caused me not to use it that much.

At first I thought the spacing between the layers was too small. After using the rack a few times, I've realized that the spacing of layers aligns with most of the foodi recommended dehydration settings.
No issues with cleaning and it folds down for easy storage.
Update - use this a lot for fruits and veges, almost every day for two months.
Using silicone pad to reduce rattling.
Cleaning notes - a short soak to rehydrate stuck food bits prior to scrub/wash makes it easy.

The rack fits reasonably well into our Emeril Lagasse 8 qt pressure cooker/air fryer unit. We have used it to space out our chicken wings for air frying - does a very nice job. Clean up after air frying the BBQ wings was easy - just stuck the rack into the dishwasher. Seems well constructed - no sharp edges and the rack stays pretty solid even with some trays removed. Well satisfied with purchase.

I have used this handy rack a few times in my 6.5 qt Ninja Foodi. It works well for both dehydrating and air crisping. The only issue I have is that it has a sharp wire coming out of the middle. As soon as I pulled one of the racks from the packaging I cut my finger. Handle carefully.

I’ve been using my dehydrator rack for making apple chips and zucchini chips. So far so good. It’s easy to set up and clean. I’m looking forward to trying some jerky. My only issue is size, cause I’d love to make more. But I realize I’m restricted by the size of the ninja. All in all it’s a great dehydrator rack for the Ninja Foodi.

I have been experimenting with my Ninja Foodi XL. I love it. I wanted to try beef jerky so I bought this dehydrator rack. It was easy to put together and went into the pot just fine. The recipe said to put it in the air fry basket but I think that was a mistake because none of the other items they said would fit either. I sprayed them with a non-stick spray and they were easy to wipe off. I put them in the dishwasher and they are perfectly clean. Can't wait to use them again.

You have to be careful when you are looking for accessories to go with your new cooking toys because the manufacturer tends to try to maximize their take on the original item by up pricing goodies that work well with their products. Case in point, this item by Gold Lion is both made better and nearly half of the price of the manufacturer branded item that obviously doesn't work as well as this 3rd party dehydrator rack. Save yourself a bit of money and get a better rack by purchasing this one!

The dehydrating rack was delivered next day before 5:30pm. I was super happy! It easily fits in the main pot of my new Ninja Foodi. It has five racks, but it’s f you do not want to go se all of them, each of them can be easily removed from the stack. I ordered and got these racks in 2 days. I immediately began using them. I have the Ninja Foodi 6.5 quart. I only had radishes and green tomatoes in the house so thats what I had to work with. Both batches were done within 3-4 hours. Crisp and a great low carb snack and/or salad crunchies (I started on fresh green beans... dont... just dont! they were nasty!) I cant wait to try with jerky and strawberrie.... but not at the same time HAHAHAHAHA

My grandchildren will eat dehydrated bananas over other snacks when they're available so I'm dehydrating them at least 3 times a week. I do use a spray oil on them for bananas, makes them just slide off. Great for pears and apples as well. I toss this is the dishwasher and comes out like new.

Glad I bought. Learned lowest rack fill first, then attach next rack and so on. Also learned a little oil on racks helps with sticking (had to soak to clean the first time). But overall I like it. Rack wire a little thin, but still very usable.

dislike its flimsiness, doesn't seam very stable at times, its a bit of work getting the racks stacked without others falling out.. gets the job done but a bit difficult. Also the grated put of the rack is a little sharp

Can dehydrate more with the trays. Its easy to put away for storage after finished. Convenient to have, so one machine can do all instead of having to many separate machine taking up space. The tray is easy to wash just soak in soapy water for a few min to soften the dried marks and easily can come off.

Rack spacing is inadequate. Much energy is used in utilizing the “Foodi” as a dehydrator. Better off just purchasing a free standing dehydrator.

I ALWAYS do research before I make any purchase:) I recently purchased the Ninja Foodi XL Deluxe 8 qt Pressure Cooker with Air Crisp. As I am new to Foodi cooking (which I LOVE by the way:) I was looking for accessories, and that's when I ordered the Goldlion Dehydrator Stainless Steel Rack to use in it to make healthy snacks. It fits in there perfectly! The QUALITY is there, too! I watched several videos on YouTube and I came across a lady, "The Salted Pepper," who had a video blog (I guess that's what you call it!) lol Anyway, she showed this accessory by Goldlion and she recommended this brand. She, too, loved cooking with the Ninja Foodi and her videos were terrific. I figured if it was her favorite dehydrator, I would like it, too! And I do and I can't wait to use it! Have to oil up real well or stuff sticks really bad. It’s a great little rack though for the price. I wish it fit inside my air fryer basket in my instant pot but it works just as well inside the metal pot so I’m still happy

I’ve made the best beef jerky with these racks. The first two times I did spray with Pam but the third time I forgot to and the meat didn’t even stick to the racks. I did wash them after each use so there was no cooking spray on it in the third time. They are easy to clean. I did wash these by hand but there was nothing stuck on it so it was really easy. Best purchase made. Thank you to my hubby for buying these for me.

This rack was exactly what I was looking for. Perfect fit in my 6.5qt Ninja Foodi and can be used in multiple configurations by leaving out some of the racks. I was also impressed with how sturdy it is even with only the top rack added in. I look forward to using it for a long time!
Straight out of the box, I did notice some loose, tiny metal bits on at least one rack. But after running the entire rack through the dishwasher, that problem was solved. So wash WELL before use!

Damon Diva : Great Shelving for Dehydrating in my Foodi.
I decided to try my hand at dehydrating healthy snacks and I needed something to use for that purpose. This brand was reviewed as a great option to the Foodi brand dehydrator so I decided on the GoldLion dehydrator.
I made apple chips so they were done before I went to work on Thursday morning- I pulled the chews out and put them in containers for DH. I came home late but Dear Husband let me know the apple chips were great.
I am now a fan of the dehydrator Racks.
PS- I have ordered a grill grate that is advertised to work well with this dehydrator rack so I can't wait to try it out as a shelf for my new grate!

Purchased based on image depicting 8.5" from bracket edging. It is nearly 9.25" which is too big for my purposes. Absolutely fraudulent marketing from manufacturer along with poor product verification processes by Amazon.

I plan on using this for cooking multiple pizzas or other air crisped food at the same time. I haven't had a chance to test it out, but the racks are easy to slide in and out. I like that you can use more or less racks depending on how much space you need in between. It is easy to put together and take apart for storage. It stores pretty flat which is a plus since I already have other racks that don't fold up.

I ordered and got these racks in 2 days. I immediately began using them. I have the Ninja Foodi 6.5 quart. I only had radishes and green tomatoes in the house so thats what I had to work with. Both batches were done within 3-4 hours. Crisp and a great low carb snack and/or salad crunchies (I started on fresh green beans... dont... just dont! they were nasty!) I cant wait to try with jerky and strawberrie.... but not at the same time HAHAHAHAHA
Pros: compact! stores nicely and folds down together. Great air flow, every shelf was evenly dehydrated. washed up nicely, soem of the food stuck on the rack, but after a quick soak, it came right off.
Cons. The edges are a little prickly when first out of the box; watch the edges!

I bought these for my ninja to dehydrate tomatoes. They work great. They seem sturdy enough and are easy to clean. I bought the mesh that goes over the top of them so they really don’t get dirty. The only tricky part is getting them to fit back together for storage, but I am very happy with my purchase. I am the type of person that checks all the choices before I buy and I am happy with these ones.

The recipe said to put it in the air fry basket but I think that was a mistake because none of the other items they said would fit either. I sprayed them with a non-stick spray and they were easy to wipe off. I put them in the dishwasher and they are perfectly clean. Can't wait to use them again.

V. Shovlin : Unexpected uses for a well-made product
I usually use fresh mushrooms for making gravy and then end up throwing away most of what's left when the rest turn moldy. Not any more! I had about 8 oz. of left-over mushrooms in the fridge when the dehydrator rack arrived and decided to actually use it as a dehydrator (I know I'll mostly use it to air-fry multiple layers of french fries, wedges, etc.). I dehydrated the mushrooms and am pleased with the results. I used 3 shelves for the mushrooms and 4 shelves with some kale that I turned into kale chips. The different layers seemed to dehydrate evenly. I didn't find the edges prickly as mentioned in a previous review- this may be an improved model. Quick delivery, too.

I recently received my dehydrator rack and used it in my Emeril Lagasse Pressure Air Fryer 8 QT. I made Kale Chips and they turned out great. I tried to do layered bacon but it did not cook very evenly at the higher temperature so I will continue to use my basket for that. Maybe it would work better if I cooked it longer at a lower temp. Can't wait to try more things. Clean up was a breeze. I threw it all in the dishwasher and it cleaned up very nicely even with all the bacon tid bits. It takes a little practice getting the layers in and out but I am sure after a few times it will become easier. Folds flat for storage.

Glad I bought. Learned lowest rack fill first, then attach next rack and so on. Also learned a little oil on racks helps with sticking (had to soak to clean the first time). But overall I like it. Rack wire a little thin, but still very usable.

The unit works well with our 8.5 quart Ninja Foodi Pressure Cooker. We dehydrated apples and bananas so far. We do recommend spraying the shelves if you do bananas, but the apples came off easily. Probably ok to lightly spray racks for everything if you choose to. Left Foodi on overnight, it turned off when done, and we had our finished fruit with breakfast. Highly recommend.

Fantastic dehydrator rack for the foodi. My 3 year old son and I are obsessed with kale chips and this makes it SO easy to make a batch, and is a few bucks cheaper than the ninja brand, which looks identical and the reviews speak of the same problems that the reviews of this one speak of. I have personally had no problems with mine and wokld not hesitate to purchase from this company for future accessories.

It is slightly awkward to add and remove the trays, especially when hot.
Have not used them for dehydrating just regular cooking larger amounts of food. The high sections cook slightly faster than the lower levels, but these were not built for this style of cooking so not a negative about the product, just an FYI.

My grandchildren will eat dehydrated bananas over other snacks when they're available so I'm dehydrating them at least 3 times a week. I do use a spray oil on them for bananas, makes them just slide off. Great for pears and apples as well. I toss this is the dishwasher and comes out like new.

Need to be a little sturdier. When putting the discs in the rack it was very wobbly. Have to make sure when removing from the foodi to grip the handles and push in so the racks don't fall off. The edges were very sharp and I did cut my fingers when I was putting the racks in place. I was sure to spray the racks before use and because I did it cleaned up like a breeze.

Cleaning is easy, you can use a dish brush to get in between the grates. My husband has ran it through the dishwasher just fine and it didn't rust after being left in the dishwasher either!
The only real complaint is that the middle racks don't get as dehydrated as the top ones, but rotating the racks half way through so the middle ones are closer to the heating element solves that problem!

Although I have only tried dehydrating once I use this rack for so much more. I use it to reheat leftovers, bake layers of chicken tenders, vegetables, etc. YOU can choose to use only the number of racks that you need and space them as you need them. I like the versatility. Folds up pretty small if you remember how to stack them together. Highly recommend.

Wolf : Versatile Cooking Trays
I am so glad I bought this item because I use it almost every time with my Foodi. I use it for bacon and layering full meals (burgers, veggies, etc.). It’s easy to setup and clean in dishwasher or by hand. The only challenging part I’ve noticed is when removing the hot trays while in place in the Foodi (I use long tongs), but how else would it stay in place so I’d still recommend this product.

Durable, good quality, stainless material. Purchased these as spares to the original grill plate in my 8.5" dry fryer, because I got tired of cleaning it after every use. Now, I can just toss them in the dishwasher. I got four grills this way, since the bottom grill is attached to the assembly. I had to bend the brackets so they would fit. While the discs are 8.5", they do not fit 8.5" dry fryers due to the clearance needed by the vertical assembly. Dry fryer must be 9" in diameter or more.

I use mine to make jerky and dried fruits in my Gourmia 6-quart air fryer. They fit just right and make the job a lot easier than making several batches with the screen that came with the fryer.
