Answer: I have had mine for at least 6 months. It hasn't rusted but the metal coating has peeled off in spots leaving a grey colored dull metal. That has caused me not to use it that much.

Extremely useful item to use with my 8 quart Instant Pot air fryer. The racks can easily be interchanged throughout the dehydration process to ensure even dehydration. Individual racks can also be removed or repositioned to accommodate thicker items like whole bananas. Having 5 layers makes the long dehydration time much more worthwhile by being able to accommodate much more food. And the whole thing folds up easily for storage.

Have dried fruit, veggies, salmon, beef, and pork. Worked great for all. Just be weary making salmon jerky, sticks a bit, and the rack is annoying to clean if things stick, which nothing except salmon has.

I had a chance to use this about 4 times so far and am very glad I purchased it. First, it's nice you can use up to 5 racks. (After looking closely at some other models, some appeared to have less racks.) Next, it is well put together and sturdy. So, it doesn't feel flimsy when moving into and out of the unit. I have the Ninja Foodi 6.5 quart model and it fit perfectly as well. It's easy to clean and looks like it'll last a long time. I am very satisfied with this product.

I never in my wildest dreams thought I would dehydrate anything! But after getting the Ninja Foodi with dehydrating capabilities, I started thinking - I could save a lot of money making my own animal treats! I run a non profit wildlife center and have 3 pet English mastiffs and a cat, and they ALL love jerky treats! When I make them myself, I can control the ingredients, size, thickness and chewiness! From 150 lb mastiff to 2 lb fennec fox, this is AWESOME! I love being able to do 5 trays at once and maximize my capabilities! The trays are sturdy, easy to get in and out, and easy to clean! Why didn’t I do this sooner?

I plan on using this for cooking multiple pizzas or other air crisped food at the same time. I haven't had a chance to test it out, but the racks are easy to slide in and out. I like that you can use more or less racks depending on how much space you need in between. It is easy to put together and take apart for storage. It stores pretty flat which is a plus since I already have other racks that don't fold up.

My grandchildren will eat dehydrated bananas over other snacks when they're available so I'm dehydrating them at least 3 times a week. I do use a spray oil on them for bananas, makes them just slide off. Great for pears and apples as well. I toss this is the dishwasher and comes out like new.

I ordered and got these racks in 2 days. I immediately began using them. I have the Ninja Foodi 6.5 quart. I only had radishes and green tomatoes in the house so thats what I had to work with. Both batches were done within 3-4 hours. Crisp and a great low carb snack and/or salad crunchies (I started on fresh green beans... dont... just dont! they were nasty!) I cant wait to try with jerky and strawberrie.... but not at the same time HAHAHAHAHA

The rack fits reasonably well into our Emeril Lagasse 8 qt pressure cooker/air fryer unit. We have used it to space out our chicken wings for air frying - does a very nice job. Clean up after air frying the BBQ wings was easy - just stuck the rack into the dishwasher. Seems well constructed - no sharp edges and the rack stays pretty solid even with some trays removed. Well satisfied with purchase.

I ordered this for my 6.5 qt Ninja Foodi. Fits perfectly! Easy to assemble and I like that it goes flat for easier storage. I’ve got a batch of pineapple going now and can’t wait to try it. I will probably still be using my standalone dehydrator for jerky because it has a larger capacity. This one seems much easier to clean since the trays are metal rather than plastic though.

I’ve made the best beef jerky with these racks. The first two times I did spray with Pam but the third time I forgot to and the meat didn’t even stick to the racks. I did wash them after each use so there was no cooking spray on it in the third time. They are easy to clean. I did wash these by hand but there was nothing stuck on it so it was really easy. Best purchase made. Thank you to my hubby for buying these for me.

This rack fit perfectly in my Ninja Foodi cooking pot. I followed the recipe for beef jerky from the little pamphlet that came with the cooker, and it worked great! Made excellent jerky in about 6 hours. Could also use for making dried fruits. Very useful accessory to have!

This rack is awesome! Fits my Ninja Foodi perfectly, and is sturdy. I had bad luck with two OEM racks I tried purchasing for my Foodi, they were severely damaged in box, so I returned them and purchased this rack. Best decision ever. I bought these for my ninja to dehydrate tomatoes. They work great. They seem sturdy enough and are easy to clean. I bought the mesh that goes over the top of them so they really don’t get dirty. The only tricky part is getting them to fit back together for storage, but I am very happy with my purchase. I am the type of person that checks all the choices before I buy and I am happy with these ones.

Just received my Dehydrator rack and it is very sturdy and well made.....not flimsy at all. I got it for my GrillGrate's NEW Sear 'N Sizzle. It will perfectly hold the grate in the frame at different heights. This was recommended by the Salted Pepper.

Durable, good quality, stainless material. Purchased these as spares to the original grill plate in my 8.5" dry fryer, because I got tired of cleaning it after every use. Now, I can just toss them in the dishwasher. I got four grills this way, since the bottom grill is attached to the assembly. I had to bend the brackets so they would fit. While the discs are 8.5", they do not fit 8.5" dry fryers due to the clearance needed by the vertical assembly. Dry fryer must be 9" in diameter or more.
N D : Rough edges
The one I received is somewhat wavy and has sharp edges like it wasn't deburred properly. Maybe it's poor plating? It hurts to run my hand across the surface. Not sure if this is defective or just the design. Not pleased. Very difficult to use and clean this way.

Paul : Advertised size incorrect
Purchased based on image depicting 8.5" from bracket edging. It is nearly 9.25" which is too big for my purposes. Absolutely fraudulent marketing from manufacturer along with poor product verification processes by Amazon.

Just bought a new air fryer. Racked my brain to figure out how I could install some shelves and was super happy to find this item. I can now put baby carrotts on one shelf, asparagus on another, mushrooms on another. The air flowa through it just fine and the airfryer works like a dream. it cleans up easily and was reasonably priced.

We have used these racks several time, but mostly for dehydrating fruits and beef to make jerky. They are easy to clean IF you spray them before hand. They are easy to arrange and disassemble and don't get hot while cooking. I wish we'd gotten these sooner.

The dehydrating rack was delivered next day before 5:30pm. I was super happy! It easily fits in the main pot of my new Ninja Foodi. It has five racks, but it’s f you do not want to go se all of them, each of them can be easily removed from the stack. It looks super nice and doesn’t require much of a storage space. l recommend this product!

I just purchased an 8qt Ninja Foodi and was excited about making dehydrated treats for my pups. The cooking rack that was included with the Ninja was not adequate for dehydrating larger quantities, so I found this product - which was highly rated and reasonably priced. It works perfectly! I can dry nearly 3x the amount of food and the smaller pieces don't fall through the grates. Very easy to clean and fits perfectly in my cooker. It's a little more expensive than other products out there, but it's well made and each of the shelves can be removed for easy cleaning and storage. Definitely recommend.
C. Osgood : Flimsy racks and crevices around edge
Very disappointed in this item for the price. The racks are only 8" diameter (not 8.5 as the description appeared to indicate) and they are very thin, flimsy wire. Around the edge where the rim cover is, there is a crevice that I anticipate food getting stuck in and being hard to clean. Might have been OK ish if I was only going to use for dehydrating but I also wanted to use as an air frying rack and these would not really be sturdy enough for that. Might have kept it if the price was in line with the product quality but it is absolutely not and so I am returning this item.

Rack spacing is inadequate. Much energy is used in utilizing the “Foodi” as a dehydrator. Better off just purchasing a free standing dehydrator.

The unit works well with our 8.5 quart Ninja Foodi Pressure Cooker. We dehydrated apples and bananas so far. We do recommend spraying the shelves if you do bananas, but the apples came off easily. Probably ok to lightly spray racks for everything if you choose to. Left Foodi on overnight, it turned off when done, and we had our finished fruit with breakfast. Highly recommend.

I ordered this for my 6.5 qt Ninja Foodi. Fits perfectly! Easy to assemble and I like that it goes flat for easier storage. I’ve got a batch of pineapple going now and can’t wait to try it. I will probably still be using my standalone dehydrator for jerky because it has a larger capacity. This one seems much easier to clean since the trays are metal rather than plastic though.

I recently received my dehydrator rack and used it in my Emeril Lagasse Pressure Air Fryer 8 QT. I made Kale Chips and they turned out great. I tried to do layered bacon but it did not cook very evenly at the higher temperature so I will continue to use my basket for that. Maybe it would work better if I cooked it longer at a lower temp. Can't wait to try more things. Clean up was a breeze. I threw it all in the dishwasher and it cleaned up very nicely even with all the bacon tid bits. It takes a little practice getting the layers in and out but I am sure after a few times it will become easier. Folds flat for storage.

I never in my wildest dreams thought I would dehydrate anything! But after getting the Ninja Foodi with dehydrating capabilities, I started thinking - I could save a lot of money making my own animal treats! I run a non profit wildlife center and have 3 pet English mastiffs and a cat, and they ALL love jerky treats! When I make them myself, I can control the ingredients, size, thickness and chewiness! From 150 lb mastiff to 2 lb fennec fox, this is AWESOME! I love being able to do 5 trays at once and maximize my capabilities! The trays are sturdy, easy to get in and out, and easy to clean! Why didn’t I do this sooner?

These racks are as described and pictured in the listing. They can be hard to clean after dried fruit is baked onto them, but that's par for the course with these kinds of items. I would purchase again, for sure!

I’ve made the best beef jerky with these racks. The first two times I did spray with Pam but the third time I forgot to and the meat didn’t even stick to the racks. I did wash them after each use so there was no cooking spray on it in the third time. They are easy to clean. I did wash these by hand but there was nothing stuck on it so it was really easy. Best purchase made. Thank you to my hubby for buying these for me.

Shipment came when expected and I truly do appreciate how much more I can dehydrate at once. We have made beef jerky and apple Crisps on it so far and both have turn out beautifully. Easy to clean and product stores away nice and compact when not in use. Love our rack!

Product is well made and works as advertised. I only used it for dehydrating and making beef jerky. I could fit about 4lb of cut beef at onetime. The netting is smaller and tighter compared to the original Ninja rack so the smaller pieces of beef do not fall through. I have 8Q Ninja and this product is a litter smaller in the width than original.

I use mine to make jerky and dried fruits in my Gourmia 6-quart air fryer. They fit just right and make the job a lot easier than making several batches with the screen that came with the fryer.
