Answer: Wings will not fit between layers. At most is space between layers is 1/2 inch it was made for dehydrating thin strips or slices. It is good for bacon or sliced

I wanted to buy just the roasting rack, but the Foodi Website nor Amazon had the roasting rack available for purchase. The Foodi website said they were out of stock indefinitely. The dehydrating rack was the next best thing. I can use one rack as a roasting rack and if need be I would use two to separate foods. I probably would not use all three as I do not intend to dehydrate any food.

This item is a must have! I use it everyday for my pulp crackers on the dehydrator speed. I have used it to air fryer small or thin multi items as well. I have the 300 model and it fits perfectly. It does not stick (so far) and is easy to clean. So happy I came across these.

The handle that folds already broke. This is ridiculous as it is metal and I am quite sure the other side will soon break soon because you can see where it was welded on both sides of the handle/rack holder. This item cost over $30.00 and certainly should not break because it is not welded or whatever you want to call it in less then five months! I use it only to make beef jerky so it isn't like it is being misused. Very disappointed in the quality of this rack and feel I just threw a little over $30.00 away! Order this to dehydrate items like bananas and other fruits. Unfortunately this rack comes with NO instructions or recipes and after asking my question publicly if it comes with recipes, the response was no from the manufacturer saying to use the guidelines in the original book that comes with the Ninja Foodi Indoor Grill. Well, those instructions are not very detailed so I did the best I could in my first attempt to dehydrate bananas. I filled all three trays that encompass this rack and I even went on You Tube and saw that someone uses Ball brand Fresh Fruit so I made special trip to store to purchase that. I applied that to the banana slices. The whole process has the Ninja Foodi Indoor Grill working (turned on to 'Dehydrate' setting) for 7-8 hours. My end result was less than desirable and the supposedly dehydrated banana slices were tossed into trash. Postitives for my use of this rack are that it cleans up nicely and the folding feature. Ultimately in the end I decided to return this accessory as I knew it was more work and time than I want to invest and the fact that there are NO specific recipes/instructions beside the very few in the original small cookbook/instruction book that comes with the Ninja Foodi Indoor Grill. I did not have any of the experiences that other reviewers had such as poor construction, etc. Too bad it didn't work out for me, but it is what it is. I gave it four stars for quality construction but highly suggest to the Ninja Company to create and design a good DEHYDRATION cookbook. It might make things a lot easier for your consumers??

Expected great things from this rack but was greatly disjointed. Assembly was very easy. Put strips of bacon on each rack then placed into my Ninja air cooker. Set time for 10 minutes. The top row was perfectly cooked. The second row was slightly under cooked. The bottom row was barely cooked at all. When using one rack at a time it was great. What's the point of having three levels if they don't cook evenly?

Didn’t do enough research so maybe this will help someone else out. It DOES NOT FIT the smart XL grill. Sadly got this delivered and found out the hard way the lid does not close on my smart grill this rack is to tall the lid hits the top of the handle. I bent the hell out of it and managed to make it work the first time but won’t be using it anymore as it scratched the inside of the grill.
