Answer: Wings will not fit between layers. At most is space between layers is 1/2 inch it was made for dehydrating thin strips or slices. It is good for bacon or sliced

I got this accessory b/c i wanted to add the amount of food to dehydrate. I was previously only able to dehydrate 2 layers of food which would take a long time since each batch takes anywhere from 6-10 hours. As such, I would need to make multiple batches. This dehydrator stand allows for a total of 4 layers, which is definitely better than before.
The stand itself is very easy to put together. Washing is slightly more difficult since i need to use a brush to get any oil / food that is stuck but I think that is expected.

So I bought my Ninja Foodi grill on Black Friday, and at first, I didn’t know I could also dehydrate foods with the unit. When I finally realized, I found a great beef jerky recipe online, and started the process (before I owned this product). It took me 3-4 batches without this rack to dehydrate about 2lbs of flank steak. At 8 hours a batch, that means I had my machine running for over 24 hours!!!
I realized my beef jerky was amazing, so I decided to pull the trigger and purchase this dehydrator rack. I can now make more beef jerky in the same batch, which I’m sure saves the life on my foodi grill, but also saves me time from having to babysit my kitchen for 24 hours straight!
Item seems to be constructed well, and when I’m done - I just pop it in the dishwasher and move on with my life!

I wanted to buy just the roasting rack, but the Foodi Website nor Amazon had the roasting rack available for purchase. The Foodi website said they were out of stock indefinitely. The dehydrating rack was the next best thing. I can use one rack as a roasting rack and if need be I would use two to separate foods. I probably would not use all three as I do not intend to dehydrate any food.

Great on dehydrating 3 racks of things (started with persimmons) and it worked great. You can place the items close together for the air circulate throughout the racks. The default air crisp rack can be use for dehydrating.. But it's basically 1 rack. If you are going to dehydrate something.. and dehydrating does takes a long time (best overnight), might as well make the best of it. I find using a doing easier to clean than the brush. Just soak them in the pan eith soap.. as you clean the pan anyway.
