The economical way to use these vacuum sealers, which I literally use every day, is to buy 50 foot rolls (usually either 8" or 11" wide) and then cut off the length you need each time. Answer: Yes - I've successfully preserved the soft texture of cookies with vacuum sealing. But you have to be careful. If you use a typical vacuum bag, the cookies will be crushed flat unless you carefully stop in time and leave an incomplete vacuum. The better strategy is to buy a hard-sided vacuum canister that attaches to the accessory port through the included hose. That way, you can suck out all the air without squishing the food inside. My first vacuum sealer and I was impressed. Its quick and gets the job done very easily. You can set how much power you want and also comes with a integrated scale. So far everything held just fine too.

I’m obsessed with this machine. Received it couple of days ago and all products in my fridge and pantry are vacuum sealed now. Pros: does everything for you quickly, comes with plenty of bags, click one button and it’s all done . The built in scale is accurate. It’s not completely silent but nothing terrible. Lots of functionality and contemporary look. And finally I don’t have to worry about spoiled food and bugs anymore.

The unit is almost completely automatic. We used it without reading the instructions and had no problems. I really like the removable tray that allows you to clean out any liquid that may have entered the tray. The built in scale is very useful for dividing portions. Not sure how to use the included vacuum hose will research and see if accessories are available for this. This unit also includes a built in cutter to cut the bags with, very handy.

This machine works very well! When I first opened it up, I didn't even read the instructions so the first couple of attempts didn't work to well. After I figured out how to correctly use the machine, everything was great! I have had a vacuum sealer in the past and after a few days in the freezer the bags would always loose their seal. This machine is not like that. I have some hamburger that I used to test this machine with and after about 6 days the vacuum is still holding and is sealed well. This machine has several different functions that should enable you to seal anything you need to. It has a vacuum canister attachment, marinating function, and dry or moist settings. Then it also has the built in scale if you need to measure how much you are putting in each bag. Overall this machine is a great purchase!

I received the product and vacuum sealed some items. I checked on both the refrigerated and frozen items and they were still sealed.
The scale is quite accurate. You do no have to have the weigh pan on to use the sealer. But you can use the scale and the sealer at the same time if you, for instance, want to create a batch of food all the same size and weight for future meals.
