Answer: I have no idea where it was made but we made the best venison jerky this weekend!! I also purchased a jerky gun. This dehydrator is amazing!! I was skeptical since there was only one review. It is pretty much commercial grade for much less $$. I would highly recommend it.

I’m dehydrating apples and the inside of the door is full of moisture and running out onto the counter, is this normal

Spokane girl : Best on the market in this price range

I did a lot of research before I bought this one. I didn't want any plastic in it as I didn't feel comfortable about the idea that my food will be heated for many hours on or around plastic. So I found this one - all stainless steel with a glass door. It is a solid unit, very well made, rather big capacity - 10 trays take a lot of food at once to dehydrate. If you dehydrate something juicy (like peaches) do yourself a favor - buy these silicon mats you can put on the tray - it makes it a lot easier to remove food from a tray. One of these mats is included with the dehydrator and you will see the difference when you try it. I would definitely recommend this dehydrator to anyone who has a lot of food to dehydrate.
