Bought this sealer as a small gift of Mother's Day to my wife. She just loves it. The design is neat and cool. It is small so only takes little space in the kitchen draw. I would guess the size is also very convenient for camping or using in a RV where a compact design is more desired.
The sealer uses 4xAA1.5V batter. There are pros and cons between using AA battery and rechargeable build in Li-Ion batter. The product using AA battery usually could have longer usable life. The product with build-in rechargeable batter probably will be useless after 4-5 years after the life of charging cycle for the built-in batter is end.
Overall the vacuum sealer is simple to use and the design is compact.

Ria Darling : Small hand-held suction sealer gets the job done
First things first - this is not going to have all the bells and whistles that a chamber sealer has. Please don't expect to be able to seal anything that has liquid / significant amounts of juices. The Yuntec sealer is battery operated and easily fits in the palm of the hand. Its great for vacuum sealing leftovers. The included bags are zip-lock style but have a circular area that you simply line up with the base of the suction sealer and press the button on the top of the device. In my experience it takes a while for the suction to activate the sealing process, usually I have to count to 10 before I see the tell-tale suction signs. The Yuntec sealer includes sliders that can be attached to the bags to ensure an adequate seal, as well as clips. Out of curiosity I washed a bag out and tried it in the dishwasher. The bag seemed dishwasher proof but didn't clean sufficiently. The bag held up fine for sous vide, but again, you can't vacuum seal with juices in the bag or the sealer will start to suck juice out of the bag up into the device. Bottom line - a really handy, easy to use, easy to store sealer if your main purpose is extending your fridge storage times.
Best Customer 1001 : Great use and space saver
This is my third vacuum sealer that I have purchased. This one was by far the easiest to use. The ease with which you close the bag and just use the small handheld sealer is definitely a plus. The size of the sealer is definitely perfect for storage.

I salt them to soften them, and some thyme and black pepper and if you seal it it'll quick-pickle. Even faster if you do it in the sous vide quick. Small enough to stash in a drawer with the special bags. I want to try it with other brand bags that have this suction port on em.

I've used a few different vacuum products. As far as a handheld machine, this is the best I've ever used. Some of the things I like:
