PEDRO : NOT REALLY FOR PROFESIONAL USE.

I have a semi profesional vaccum sealer. This plastic is to thinn and does not work good with the sealer beacause the material melts even if I reduce the sealing time.
Works, but is not one of the bests in the market. The price is not a Factor!

These bags work for my old vacuum sealer machine (VAC 820), even though my machine is bigger than the length of the bags. They have a good thickness to them as I am unable to rip them apart. I can't tear the plastic with my fingers. This size shall last me a long time. I'd recommend these.

These are high quality vacuum bags that worked perfectly with my FoodSaver vacuum sealer. They're slightly cheaper than buying a "name brand" roll of bags, and the quality is identical. These are stated to be safe for low temperature cooking, and this has been my primary use for them. The attached images show a boneless leg of lamb (~3.5lbs) and an entire chicken in parts (~4.5lbs). I cooked them at 135 and 155 degrees respectively for about 2 hours each, and the bags held up perfectly during the process. There was no plastic flavor or any other issue. I was concerned that there might be an issue with the bones in the chicken puncturing the bag, but it held up just fine.

Thinking about the value, the 50 foot roll is certainly a better value per sq ft than the shorter rolls, but your purchase ought to depend upon what you need. In any case, these work well for sous vide and would be equally ideal for freezing things without any worry of air or freezer burn as long as you have a good vacuum sealer.
