will these bags work with my Sous Vide?

Answer: These bags were created to make sealing, storing, and even thawing and cooking as painless and hassle-free as possible and should work with in your Sous Vide. They are commercial grade and 100 % BPA Free, you can thaw and even COOK food right in the bag, without having to worry about plastics or other harmful chemicals (like BPA) leaching into your fresh, nutritious food.

By and large it's a good system; it works like it says , seals fast. Only issue I have is one has to be adept at working with both hands at the same time when using the locking mechanism prior to activating the sealer ( cannot use one-handed,at least personnally).

I like this sealer however, getting a perfectly straight edge on a roll of seal bags is nearly impossible so I am still using mostly pre-one-side sealed bags. I am also a little disconcerted with how hard it is to push down both handles at the same time to close the sealer over the bag.

I have a roll and when I tried to use it to seal something, the unit wouldn't work; it looks like it sealed the open side but when I put my food in the bag and tried to vacuum seal from the other side, nothing happened, not even a little bit of suction.

I tried to go directly to the seller on this before I did a review but my original order was too old for it to work. I purchased this item Sept.21,2017 and it worked well and was pleased with my purchase but now I'm not happy with it at all. When I purchased it for 79.99 in 2017 it was fulfilled by Amazon but I forgot who the seller was..Now when I press the VAC SEAL it doesn't seal it just continuously runs, it has gone over 2 minutes before I stopped it. I have to hit the SEAL button just to close the package and then I get air again in the package. I have used it awhile and I know that juice will interfere with a proper seal so I make sure any meat Is a bit frozen before I seal it. I had misgivings before I ordered in but it said a lifetime warranty so I thought I would try it. I will update this review if I get a response to this review which is the first 1 star review I have ever done.

Margo M. : Tubing suction adapter (to bin or bag) is worthless

Sometimes it stops working and I have to use vinegar and a towel to get the inside clean. Also, it is difficult to measure how far a bag can go into the machine, so I end up having to trim the edges because I stuff it a little to far in. Sometimes it won’t stop vacuuming and therefore won’t seal. Usually I switch it to the other mode (moist vs dry) and it does OK. The tubing suction thingy I have found worthless (maybe it is just me??), because I cannot find any bags the tubing part sticks into. Also, no containers are available that fit the units vacuum tube system.

Light weight vacuum sealer. Vacuum sealer removes air from bag 40% of time. Some time it seals, some time it runs and nothing happens. will not seal two bags in a row with out long wait in between. Tried to seal multiple bags or home made summer sausage ended up throwing the unit away and buying something that could handle the job.

Would not recommend.
