Warm Tips
Please put the open end of the vacuum bag into the vacuum sealing channel of the U-shaped groove. It is recommended to reserve a length of 3 inches for sealing operation
When starting to seal, make sure that there is no grease, liquid or other impurities on the heating strip. Make sure there are no wrinkles or dirt at the opening of the bag.
Do not immerse the machine or its wires in water or other liquids for cleaning. Use a damp sponge or cloth to clean the surface or vacuum chamber.
After completing the sealing step, do not touch the heat seal immediately to avoid being burned by the heat.
Do not place the vacuum container in the microwave.
Please do not put the boiling liquid into the vacuum container for vacuuming, it needs to be cooled before proceeding.
Because of photosynthesis and respiration, when the sealed food is vegetables, fresh fruits or seeds, it is normal that the food will release heat and gas, not the seal is loose. It is recommended to store such food in a vacuum before putting them in the refrigerator, which will slow down photosynthesis and respiration.

Product reviews of Toprime Vacuum Sealer Machine with Container & Hose One-Touch 5 in 1 Food Saver Dry & Moist Mode
alice ho ogues : price
not working for me
Shepherd Haven : Lack of suction, heater did not always completely seal bags
Sadly had two of these machines (a blue and a black) and both were under performers and we were lucky if one out five tries we got the results we needed. Sometimes the bags heated sealed properly and when it did we liked the wider seal but had to try a few times there was not a complete seal at one spot and seam would let go. These were with the vacuum bags provided with the machine. Then most often there was not enough sections using the dry function to get all the air out and then sometimes the bag would or would not seal completely. Using the wet function was even worst even after making sure bag was clean where the seal would lay. Definitely did not met the 6-9 seconds for dry function or the 8-11 sections when wet function was chosen. The control for manual pressure did not help at all. Not enough air was removed from the vacuum bags as experienced in using other vacuum sealers, even older style ones. Also have to click down hard on both sides of the unit to make sure it in correct operating position. The open end of the vacuum bag goes in the U shaped vacuum sealing chamber but its recommended to reserve length of 3 inches for sealing operation which seems to be a waste of bagging material. We went through an entire roll of film provided testing both of these Toprime Vacuum Sealers and were totally disappointed in the overall results and ended up going back to a much older machine which worked better than the Toprime one did. Was attracted to some of the features of the machine: looks nice, has low sleek profile, like the option for dry/wet, wider seal and includes a vacuum hose for some of our sealer containers. However it turns out this particular Toprime units were a waste of time, energy, money (overpriced) and resources ( vacuum bag film) since definitely did not as listed or as expected. No UL or ETL North American electronic safety markings.
ShoppingGeek : WOW!! This one does it all.
My first vacuum sealer was a small one which uses zip-lock bags which have a valve on them to connect the device to. I was smitten with it at first, but then I realized the "reusable" bags are limited in their reuse-fulness, so I shopped some more.
My second one was a countertop model which came with some bags without valves. It sucks the air out of the bag and then heat-seals the top. The problem with it was that its sealer was not hot enough to seal bags from other companies. I know because I bought rolls of 3rd-party materials which you are supposed to cut to size, seal one end, insert food, and seal the other end, but no go.
So third time was the charm. This sealer not only comes with the rolls, but unlike #2, the roll fits handily inside the device (see pictures). It is also able to seal the 3rd-party rolls that #2 wouldn't.
PLUS, it also comes with the reusable bags with the valves as well as a sealable container and a hose to attach to them (picture). I find that it connects to the valves much easier than the small portable vacs and suck the air out much faster.
Even when using bags not equipped with valves, it's possible to reuse bags by cutting a bag open just below the previous heat seal, then resealing it.
And of course, the container can be used, washed, and reused as often as you want.
This one does it all. * * * * *
4-Month Update: I use this frequently and it continues to work perfectly.
ricc0 : Gets the basics done
Decent vacuum sealer that includes everything you need to start up. Bags, hose, and a vacuum canister are included. I'm not going to parrot all the features - they are in the description. The operation is fairly simple although larger rolls of bags can be a pain. The unit looks good and is of a low profile. Suction is as good as you'll get in this price range and the dry/wet feature is nice.
Mrs. Simpkins : Egh
For me this sealer didn't work well at all. First, you have to push down on the machine for it to actually vacuum, pretty hard. The seal part works well, but it's the vacuuming that's the issue. It doesn't vacuum well, and when it does vacuum it comes un-vacuumed within seconds. I thought it was me, so I had a few family members try, same results. It does come with bags m and one container that can be vacuumed, as well as the hose. The machine is a nice size, it did have a weight, so it's better at its own spot, not to carry around often. The machine is loud once on and functioning.
Dove96 : Slim and Seals
I have a Vacuum Sealer that is getting quite old and decided to order the Toprime Vacuum Sealer to replace it. The slimmer design is easier to store and the container option is a nice option. The rolls of plastic bags do not fit into the storage area of the Toprime – smaller rolls are needed or I just cut them and keep the rolls in a drawer. The cutter doesn’t work very well and binds when cutting. Biggest problem but at the same time something I love is the locking mechanism. A lot of pressure required to snap the top down to engage the lock. Once finished the release buttons also need a fair amount of pressure. Not only is this hard to do I worry that the machine will suffer due to the stress.
The sealing job is good. I love the thicker seal width. The vacuum pressure is OK but not as good as my other sealer.
It is an OK sealer for someone wanting to save space, only does it once in a while and/or for someone without physical issues.
Courtland J. Carpenter : Not as bad as some of the lower reviews, but needs some modification, harder to use than need be.
I've got some discount packs of fresh Angus Top Sirloin coming for delivery tomorrow, so it was time to break this out for testing. I was hoping to have this solve some of the issues with the inexpensive models. I had glanced at some of the bad reviews, I like to discount problems if possible in advance. Most of them said it didn't have a vacuum. In tested the vacuum tube connection first and determined it was working. Then I took one of the included rolls and cut off about 10 inches. The cutter worked nice although I wonder how to replace if it gets dull which it will. I put one end of the bag in closed down the lid and pushed the seal. I waited a few minutes and checked the seal, it looked melted but it came open. So I pressed down on the seal and and seal it twice more. This time it took, so I filled the bag part way with some elbow pasta. I have trouble with mealy bugs on occasion, and they love pasta. They tend to come out in some boxed pasta where the pasta in loose in the cardboard with no inner sealed bag.
Now I had it sealed on one end so I turned the bag around and positioned the open end in the vacuum chamber and put down the lid. I hit the button to vacuum seal over and over again, but no effect. I tried to partial seal it then use the vacuum, it didn't work. What the heck I thought without the clean language. I examined the inside, and noticed their were two click down locks one on either side. Unfortunately, even though I put pressure on the lid, it wasn't enough. It takes way too much muscle to get them to snap lock. I think an easier mechanism should be there to lock down, even some cheaper sealers have a better way to lock down. Figuring this would fix it, I put the open end of the bag in the vacuum chamber, and pushed really hard on either side till I could see it latch. There are release buttons on the side that release the clamps. Now the vacuum worked, and really well. I double heat sealed it again to make sure, and removed the vacuum sealed bag of pasta.
Accessory list, and some features are nice. It came with two rolls of bags, some precut bags usable to seal with the vacuum line, and a vacuum jar with an attachment on the lid. It did come with the vacuum line and connection as well. This is used with the lid open, and the line on a vacuum spigot. There is a button inside that turns it on when vacuum is needed. Strangely, the instructions show this spigot on the right side, but on the unit, its on the left of the one I have. It seems to work OK. I did wonder why when they have room for a wider roll, they included two rolls, each of them shorter in length. I think at the price they should have included one of each.
The pressure to get the connection to seal enough to use the vacuum is likely a future problem. The latches are plastic, and hook inside a hollow in the plastic tab insert. With the up pressure on these after they latch I'm gonna guess these will break in fairly short order. I think both the, latch and the catch should have been made of good steel. It's bad I think, when you make too any flaws that will prevent use of a device if they break too easy. I think they should use a leveraged belt lock clip, on either side or some other tensioning system. This loses a star for price, and another for the issues. It works, but is not as easy as it should be for one at this price. I can't recommend at this point, there are better, more economical solutions. I do want the maker to know that a redesign on his lockdown, and improving the durability of whatever the new design entails, would likely elevate this review to full marks. This is supposed to be the new model, so color me disappointed.
CanadianMaple : Game changer
This vacuum sealer is very easy to use meaning you will probably vac seal everything destined for the fridge or freezer. Comes with some reusable bags, a plastic vacuum container, and 2 rolls of bag sealer. I am impressed with this unit.

letmepicyou : Fairly easy to use, but could use better instructions.
The instructions for this are barely 1/2 sheet, very few words, some non-descript images, ect. Luckily, it's a vacuum sealer and not a more complicated device, so I eventually figured it out (this is my first vacuum sealer where I don't manually suck the air out of a zip lock baggie with my mouth - which works, btw). I like the flexibility that it offers in that it doesn't tie you to a single brand or type of bag. It'll pretty much use whatever you stick in it. Having looked at a few in the past, I've seen ones that could only use this or that bag. Only thing I'd like to see, really, is maybe a bigger container (the included one is maybe a pint?) or perhaps some mason jar lids/adapter? And a more meaningful display would be nice, something with empirical data not just an "it's doing something" readout.
Other than a few minor wishes/gripes, it's been a pretty good 1st vacuum sealer for me. I'll have to go shopping now for some bigger containers. But it works pretty simply (despite kinda bleah instructions) and seems to draw a pretty good vacuum, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. This has been a very solid addition to my slightly overflowing "kitchen gadgetry" collection.

Very satisfied with this product. Easy to use and works well. Seller delivered as stated.
Susan Hale Dake : Vacuum Sealer
This is a decent quality sealer. It seems to be decent quality for the price. It seals good and it's easy to use. Would recommend.

Dr. A. Smithe : Totally worth it
I have always wanted a vacuum sealer. Always. And now I actuallt have 2, both from Toprime. To clarify, the black and the blue from this brand are identical from what I can tell, aside from color. So this review pertains to both. The most important thing for me is ease of use. And I am so happy that I can say, this baby is simple! It is simple and it has done so much for me. I have a large family - 6 kids and 2 adults. So we buy in bulk and we freeze a lot of food all at once. I go through a lot of food but we were still having some waste due to freezer burn. I can't even begin to explain how ecstatic I am that thanks to this vacuum sealer I really don't have to worry about that anymore. And I used this on more than just food. Products that can go bad from air exposure, ive sealed them up as well. I went to town because this was so much fun for me. If you need a vacuum sealer, this is perfect. At the time of this review this unit is 75$ which is not bad at all!
Rita Dalton : That's easy to use
I seal my meats, vegetables. I really like the compact size. Easy to store .
721trucker : Works well, small learning curve
Out of all my latest products to lay hands on, this one really excited me. Crazy, right? Why? I'm a truck driver. I take my food with me on the road to avoid the high cost of eating in restaurants, truck stops, and vending machines. Not to mention the fact that I can save a lot of cash by just going to the grocery store, cooking and prepping food and then freezing it in advance of my trips.
The problem has been that when we prep and freeze the food and stick it in the deep freeze until needed, eventually there is evidence of ice inside the bags, and the food just isn't as good, frozen or not. It doesn't seem to matter if we cool it so there isn't condensation and remove as much air as possible. Over time (a few weeks, no more than a couple of months) there is ice INSIDE the bags.
So when I saw this unit, I thought I'd give it a try. I want to have good storage options and to be able to extend the freshness as long as possible. My first try at sealing didn't go that well. I was trying to just seal the very end of the bag/tube. You need to give it a little more "slack" and don't be afraid to seal it a little further up. Same bag...didn't understand that the end of the unsealed bag needed to be in the long rectangular chamber for the vacuum process to take place. It makes perfect sense now, of course, but my first attempt was a failure. Once I got those two issues worked out, My second attempt was fantastic. The unit sucked out the air and sealed the bag just as advertised, and I don't anticipate any freezer burn or ice build up inside those new storage bags in my latest batch for the road.
In short, this works very nicely. In long, I have a complaint about time. The actual time it takes to evacuate the air and seal the bag isn't long. Maybe 20 seconds for the "moist" setting. Maybe shorter. This means you can get 2 or 3 bags sealed in a minute, right? No. There is supposed to be a 60 second cool down for the heat sealer after every seal. While we aren't really talking about a lot of time here, when you are standing around waiting for it to cool down (no indicators to let you know...you just need to time it) it just feels like an awful long time. I don't know what the real consequences are for not waiting. Perhaps the heating element in the sealer will burn out faster or something like that, or maybe it will get hot enough to burn through the plastic bag instead of sealing it together. Or both. I don't know, but I do know that those extra 40 seconds seem like a long time when you are trying to bag some food and get it in the freezer.
If there isn't a way to avoid the cool down on a unit like this, it would be nice to have an indicator to show it's "ready" to seal again, based on the desired cool down temp. Perhaps a small fan could be built in the system that would drastically cut down the wait time to effectively make it ready for use again immediately. It usually takes a few seconds to pull out more of the bag from the roll before you seal the first side. Just a thought.
With all that being said, I got this unit for free to review it. I did NOT wait the entire 60 seconds. I sealed the stuff about as quickly as I could stuff the bags into this machine. I did notice the element seemed to get pretty hot, but I didn't notice any issue with sealing or burning beyond what I thought would be considered normal. I put this thing through its paces and it performed well.
It's a little large, but not bulky. We don't have counter space for it, but it will fit on a shelf or in a pantry. It's a little large because it will take bags up to 11 inches wide, I believe. It comes with 8 inch bags, which work great for portioning out my food for the week in the truck. If you are putting together a bag of leftovers for a family, the larger rolls are probably a good thing to have on hand. I'd bet most people rarely have to go that large, but they could come in handy for other things beside food. If you are trying to keep air and moisture out of something, this is a cool tool to have.
I got some off brand rolls of bags to go with this unit and can't tell the difference between the ones they recommend and these. I'd guess there aren't a lot of people making these, but a lot of people rebrand them. As long as the thickness and width of the bag are the same, I'd guess you can buy pretty much any brand you like.
Last note...it can be a little noisy while in operation. You are running a vacuum pump. They tend to be a little loud. It's not roaring engine loud, but if you have kids napping or something like that, you may not want to be running this thing at that moment. This is a chore to do when noise is appropriate and expected.
Overall, I am pretty happy with this thing. I hope I don't burn up the sealing element due to my impatience, but if I do, I believe there are replacement parts available, and it isn't that hard to install. I'd be happier with a faster process, but I'm not running a food processing plant, so this works fine for what I need it for. It will probably be fine for your needs as well.
Raging Stallion : Awesome Vacuum Sealer!
This vacuum sealer is perfect for my needs. I got this for meats that I buy in bulk at the grocery store or processing a deer and need to keep it fresh for long periods of time. This little sealer is easy to use and comes with two rolls of custom-cut packaging bags, few zip-lock style bags, and a container.
It does exactly what it's supposed to do, but I definitely recommend reading the manual in full before use. Make sure you take a minute in between uses to allow the vacuum to cool. Overheating could destroy the unit over time. If you're looking to store perishables in the freezer long term, then I definitely recommend this vacuum sealer.
C. Hill : Love it!
This product works great! If you buy meat in bulk, this is perfect for you. Works super easy. Suction is awesome. Love it, you won’t be disappointed.
Elle : Lots of extras + the suction power is excellent for proper vacuum seal prior to freezer storage
I’ve been using Ziploc freezer bags for years to freeze food and keep dried goods from going stale or rancid but vacuum sealing is really the way to go! I think it can end up saving money in the long run (or drawing even), if you take into account wasted food from freezer burn or rancid/stale taste. It’s also a must-have if you’re getting into sous-vide cooking!
This vacuum sealer comes with more accessories than any other sealer I’ve tried and it has all the features I look for including a moist food mode and a built-in roll holder so it keeps things a bit tidier on your counter. I have not tried the well-known Food Saver but the Toprime sealer has excellent suction power! If you’re marinating meat, you can control the suction manually by using the Pulse mode or set the suction to the Moist setting.
PROS + Superior to Ziploc freezer bags for long term freezer storage (lasts longer without getting freezer burned) + Easy to use with multiple modes (auto vac & seal for moist or dry, pulse for manual suction) + Comes with more extra accessories than most other vac sealers in this price range + Includes a vacuum container, vacuum hose, zipper vac bags, 2 rolls of vacuum sealing film + Has a built-in vacuum bag roll holder and cutter + Able to vacuum both wet/moist and dry foods + Strong suction power
CONS - Slightly harder to lock down compared to a few other vacuum sealers I’ve tried.
D. Fowler : Epic fail so I'm saving my money for a REAL Food Saver upgrade!
I’m no newbie to the Food Saver and have had one for years. I thought perhaps it was time for an upgrade as the Toprime vacuum sealer seemed to have everything I needed. It did, but didn’t if you know what I mean. It has a few extras that I’ve paid for in the past. For example, it has that accessory hose, which cost me extra this past year. They are handy for sealing Mason jars and the zipper bags. I’ve never tried the zipper bags, but there’s always a first time.
Now I’ve prepped for winter for well over 40 years and Food Saver has been a part of it. I’ve watched the Food Saver evolve from a simple sealer to a more complex one. As I mentioned, I did purchase that hose, something the newer models include. They also in recent years, added the roll and cutter features. I figured I’d upgrade, but my experience was a letdown. A huge one.
Sealing the bags was easy, or so I thought. I tried three different types: the ones included, another generic, and Food Saver bags. Their bags didn’t seal properly nor did the generic. I finally got a decent seal with the Food Saver bags after two tries. Initially, I thought I’d vacuum seal some milled flax seed using their bags. That’s when I realized the bag wasn’t properly sealed. Now that ended up on the floor. I’m determined and decided to try again with my Food Saver bags.
The sealing portion works well enough at times as does the cutter. Their bags are duds and the vacuum seal didn’t work at all. Try as I might, I thought I was doing something wrong. Turns out I wasn’t. I went to the Toprime site, which isn’t secure, so I backed out. Then I sought out a YouTube video, produced by the company. I wasn’t doing anything wrong as this machine is a dud. I’m going to save my money and purchase an upgraded Food Saver when they go on sale in my local box store. At least they’ll take it back if I have a dud.
C. Hill : Love it!
This product works great! If you buy meat in bulk, this is perfect for you. Works super easy. Suction is awesome. Love it, you won’t be disappointed.
J Spig : Great item that comes in a complete package.
For years I have used plastic wrap and Ziplocs and they do the job, but a vacuum sealer like this one works much better to keep your food fresher while lowering the risk of freezer burn. I also use it in sous vide cooking with this machine (https://www.amazon.ca/KitchenBoss-Sous-Vide-Cooker-Immersion-Circulator/dp/B08NJ78C7) and together they make a perfect combination. The suction on this machine is strong and it vacuums/seals items very quickly. The seals held well while using premade/self-made bags and no water got in during my sous vide use. The Toprime also comes with an added “wet” setting which prevents the machine from taking on any liquid when vacuum sealing anything with a marinade (steak, chicken, etc.). Another excellent addition is the built in holder and cutter for vacuum bags on a roll. It makes it very easy to roll out a perfectly sized bag, cut it, and then seal it closed. I use these bags (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08HH1ZQPW) which work well and come in a box with a built in cutter, but the Toprime solution is definitely better. The machine looks great, is very easy to use, and comes with all the functions you would expect: vac seal, manual mode, seal only, etc. Toprime also added some nice bonus items to make it easy for you to start vacuuming right out of the box (reusable “Ziploc” bags, a vacuum container, 2 bag rolls, and an accessory hose). My only minor complaint is that they did not include a storage bag to keep everything neatly organized. Not really a big deal because the cord is removable and fits inside the unit itself, but it still would have been nice to get a storage bag for everything else. Overall, this is an excellent item that you should definitely consider getting for your kitchen. Since it comes nicely bundled with everything you need, it would also make a great gift for anyone who likes to cook.

Good luck with your decision/purchase.
Mivedaloca : Easy to work with
The ease of getting started and the built in bag holder and cutter. I love it! I also like that it came with bags, hose and vacuum container. Would definitely buy it again.
Stan : Fast and effective vacuum sealer
I bought this vacuum sealer to use to seal my dry and wet foods for a long period of time to keep them fresh for later. The quality of this vacuum sealer is great and it feels like a very well made machine. I like that this vacuum sealer is easy for me to use and also simple for me to operate. This vacuum sealer has strong suction power and seals the foods quickly which is good. I really like that this vacuum sealer has a built in cutter and vacuum bag roll storage to help me save time so I don't have to look for it. This vacuum sealer works just as advertised and is perfect for what I need it for. I'm happy with my purchase and I find it to be worth the value of my money. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a vacuum sealer to use.
Ashley f : Buy the right bags
Not compatible with some bags
letmepicyou : Fairly easy to use, but could use better instructions.
Olivia Obie : Not powerful enough
This vaccum sealer has beautiful color and good look. It came with plenty good tools like extra jar, bags, vaccum external tube etc. However, the air vaccum suction is not strong enough.
I used on raw meat like pork chop. After vaccum seal, I still see spaces in between the meat and the bag.
For vaccum seal dry foods, it does much better job. I tried to vaccum seal almonds. It worked well.
Overall, it is a pretty, easy to use product but I expect higher vaccum seal power.
Awesome 1 : No need to purchase another sealer.
This is the best vaccum seal that I have ever purchased. The seal is very tight.
T Stanley : Sealer with all the extras I wanted.
The sealer has the common features like dry or wet foods and a pulse setting. Like most machines, it includes a set of starter bags so I could start vacuum sealing right after receiving the unit. The sealer works well - it vacs out the air well and the seals are all strong. I have used some off brand bags and they work fine also. Be aware the unit supports bags up to 11" wide. This is plenty wide for my use but worth mentioning. For the price range, I've not seen a sealer that doesn't include a bag cutter so that isn't much of a differentiator for this unit. But the cutter does work well. The part that I do like is that this has a bag holder in the machine. It does save a bit of time when pulling the sealer out. And this is one of the smallest footprints of any sealer I've seen that has a holder for the bags in the unit. Another item to note is that the hose attachment piece is included. Another brand I have did not include this attachment and if you have bags with the hole in the side, you'll need this. I feel like this is a really good value for all the extras.
Elle B. : Nice, sturdy vacuum sealer
I’ve owned several vacuum sealers, and this is one of my favorites. As far as vacuum sealers that aren’t from a top name brand go, many of them tend to feel plastic and cheap. This one manages to feel very sturdy without weighing a ton. While there is still plastic on the body of this machine, it feels thick and high-quality. I don’t worry about this machine cracking from repeated use or wearing out too soon.
The design of this vacuum sealer is fairly basic. If you’ve ever used one before, you’ll be able to figure this one out fairly quickly. The most difficult part of using it is the arm strength required. You do have to push down on both sides of the lid with equal strength to clamp the bags in before sealing. If you have limited arm strength or mobility, this may be a challenge. Using the hose attachment is also quite easy. Keep in mind, however, that it is not a universal attachment. If you have name brand containers that you were hoping to use with this machine, the attachment for this machine is a male attachment, versus the name brand which are female. They are not interchangeable.
The most disappointing thing about this machine is the container. They do mention in the listing the size of the container, so I won’t be deducting any points from my rating, but it’s awfully small. I couldn’t think of a single use for it. It’s not large enough for anything I would typically want to keep vacuum sealed. I have other vacuum seal jars and I use those to hold nuts, fresh fruit, and to marinade meats. This container isn’t large enough to do any of those and anything small enough to fit in it is probably going to be eaten before it goes bad anyway.
Overall, this is a decent vacuum sealer that I would recommend to anyone looking for a standard use sealer. If you plan to seal extreme amounts, this may not be the best choice, but for the average household who plans to use this a few times a week, this is a great option.
Dr.
ChrisN : Looks nice, works ok
This vacuum sealer looks nice and has a pretty low profile. It comes with two small rolls of the small bags and a couple of other accessories. What I like about it is that it doesn't cost much and it looks nice. It also doesn't take up much space. What I don't like are several things. There are several steps required to cut a bag and vacuum seal it. For one, it has very limited space for a roll of bags. I have a higher end vacuum sealer that fits larger rolls and doesn't require opening every time I need to cut a new bag You have to open this Toprime machine up to roll out some bag to slice it. Then you have to place it right to seal it. Once that's done, you roll out the amount you need and slice again, but the wider rolls just barely fits so you have to maneuver the bag under the blade. Once you're ready to vacuum seal, if your bag has any fold to it, you have to adjust so that it lines up just right. Watch the video s and you'll see what I mean. The vacuum sealing area is also just barely wide enough to accommodate the wider 11 inch bags that are standard. When I vacuum sealed a second bag, it didn't quite lay flat and couldn't get a good seal so I had to re vacuum and seal a second time. For the price you're paying, you can't expect much more. It's between 3 and 4 stars. I'll round up. It gets the job done.
Amazon Customer : Well designed unit with multiple features and attachments
I have had multiple vacuum units in the past and most ended up being a disappointment, either because the broke or they didn't have the features I wanted or needed. On some the sealing filament broke, some the bag cutter broke, some didn't have roll storage in the unit, some did not come with a bag cutter.
This unit not only has those features but also comes with an assortment of seal-able zip bags as well as a vacuum container which I find useful since most units have the function of using a vacuum hose but don't include the containers to use them. This one did and it works quite well. It also has a pulse function that helps keep soft foods from getting squished when pulling the air out of the bag. The sealing strip is nice and wide giving that added assurance that the seal will not break open. The touch buttons are user friendly and well marked.
I have had this unit for a while now and have not experience any problems yet. It is probably the best value for the money that I have used. I would highly recommend this for purchase.
Michele the Elf : Great for dividing up bulk purchases
I got this since I like to buy in bulk. I love shopping at club stores. This works great for vacuum packing the extra so it's fresh when I need it. I found it easy to use. It is comparable to the name brand one. Looking at both, the big difference is there is no drip tray for when you are vacuum packing things with liquids. It does have a dry or moist setting. It can do bags or canisters. I feel it's affordable and it will save me money in the long run.
Robin Surface : Works fairly well
I have to admit I was a little intimidated by this and put off trying it out for a long time. There weren’t many instructions and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to figure it out. I shouldn’t have worried - it was pretty straightforward and eas.
It’s nice that it comes with reusable baggies that can be vacuum sealed, as well as a small canister that has a calendar to mark when food was stored. There are also 2 rolls of bags, which is good since they recommend leaving 3 inches at the top of each thing you seal - that will make the roll go away pretty quickly.
I did have a little trouble closing the unit on both sides. You have to press pretty hard and I was afraid I’d break it. Again, worry for nothing since it seemed to be fine.
This will come in handy when I find bulk items on sale. It will be nice to repackage and know that it’s airtight.
The price is really good on this unit, so I think it’s worth it.
Prince of Peas : An excellent vacuum sealer in a compact design
WHY I LIKE IT: • Smaller than my other vacuum sealers (that work this well) • It has a canister attachment and includes a well-designed canister • It has a short “lip” allowing you to use shorter bags • Cannister hose fits re-usable vacuum bags (some are enclosed) • Although it comes with 8” bag stock, it can handle up to 11” wide bags • It has a “moist” setting for wet foods (such as many raw portions of meat) • It makes a good, wide heat seal • It has a pulse setting
WHAT COULD BE BETTER: • It does not have a removable drip tray making cleaning a bit more difficult • There is no hold-down bar when using the cutter allowing the bag to move
Overall, this is a very nice vacuum sealer. Most importantly, it pulls a good, quick vacuum and it seals well.
I like that it has a short lip, i.e., the distance from the edge of the sealer to the vacuum reservoir and drip area, is short meaning that you don’t have to cut a bag longer than necessary or be left with a large piece of the bag after sealing as is common with many other vacuums.
The canister hose will attach to reusable bags (which are included) and you can make your own bags from a roll (2 are included) or use pre-sealed bags, so it is very versatile.
I’d prefer, as with some of my other sealers, that the vacuum reservoir (where the open end of the bag is inserted) came with a removable tray since that is also the area that collects moisture from wet foods, especially blood from meats. It makes cleaning much easier if that part is removable. And, some of my other sealers have a hold-down bar attached to the cutter, which makes it much easier to use. But these are minor complaints about a very good system.
There are LED lights that move as you are using it. They’re not really timers, but they’re fun to look at.
The canister included is an excellent design with both a secondary cover to enclose the vacuum port after sealing and even a (hard to see in the attached photos) calendar system so you know the day that you sealed the food inside.
Overall this is an excellent vacuum sealer at a reasonable price for one that works as well as this.
Highly recommended.
Review of: Toprime Vacuum Sealer VS6603 One-Touch
Raging Stallion : Awesome Vacuum Sealer!
This vacuum sealer is perfect for my needs. I got this for meats that I buy in bulk at the grocery store or processing a deer and need to keep it fresh for long periods of time. This little sealer is easy to use and comes with two rolls of custom-cut packaging bags, few zip-lock style bags, and a container.
It does exactly what it's supposed to do, but I definitely recommend reading the manual in full before use. Make sure you take a minute in between uses to allow the vacuum to cool. Overheating could destroy the unit over time. If you're looking to store perishables in the freezer long term, then I definitely recommend this vacuum sealer.

greatist stories : Vaccum sealer for multiple purposes and works perfectly.
A great, well made item. High quality and very useful. pulls almost all of the air out fo the bag. Seal is air thgit and strong. Fits all kinds of meats and vegetables and left overs. very versatile.
Amazon Customer : Easy
Exactly as described in the write up. Easy to use with no problems
MJBurroughs : Easy to use
Easy to use and it’s a super simple concept. The sealing is good and it sucks all the air out as promised, ready for freezing. The bags seem good and it looks like it would work with most bags of its type. Not too many complaints at this point, it does what it’s supposed to do!
MyOhMy : Good, not great
This is a decent vacuum sealer but it sometimes doesn’t do a good job sealing. Most of the time, the seal is right on but occasionally (more than never but nothing like frequently) it gets temperamental and just doesn’t do the job. Still relatively easy to use and definitely handy in my kitchen.
Brian M. Levine : Not sure how it works, but it does
One could say it’s a bit of magic. You close the lid, press the button, and air is sucked out of bag and the bag is sealed. It’s easy to use and even has a QR code for online videos. It comes with some nice accessories as well. There is a cutter to slice the bags to size and several options including auto-vacuum and seal, just seal, or pulse.
H. Martin : Toprime Vacuum Sealer
I’ve become a little experienced with vacuum sealers and have been trying the perfect one for me and I’ve found it. This vacuum sealer comes with quite a few different accessories. It comes with reusable zipper bags, 2 rolls of vacuum bags, a vacuum container, and a vacuum hose. I also like that the box shows you the preservation life of several different food products.
Though this vacuum sealer is lightweight, it’s sturdy. It was a little hard to lock it down the first couple of times but it got easier. I decided to make homemade mashed potatoes and to freeze them in individual servings to save myself time in the future. The cutter on this sealer worked well and easily. I didn’t use the vacuum hose yet so I can’t say how that works but so far everything else works great. It sealed my bags quickly and with no issues.
