Answer: It didn't work for me at first, but after I noticed it wasn't completely shut then it worked just great. Try closing it completely on the corners and you will here a click. Hope this was helpful!

After first couple of attempts to learn how to use the machine, it worked like a charm. Vacuum packed 12 steaks in a matter of a few minutes. As the instruction says, it’s good to wait at least 60-90 seconds before packing the next item.

This is my second food vacuum. I loved my Foodsaver but it’s somewhere in storage and for the price and reviews I thought I’d give this one a try. The vacuum itself works great. I know a couple reviews said the suction hose could work a little better but to me it works just fine. I like that it’s not too big and it’s easy to fit into my kitchen cabinet. Its also very easy to use and clean. It comes with vacuum bags which is a huge plus and you can get your leftover put away right away ???? my last good vacuum was very loud. This one doesn’t make as much noise.

Normally I don’t really leave reviews as many people pretty much relay the same feelings i have, however for this product that sentiment has changed. I wish I could express the level of excitement I have for finally pulling the plug to buy an vacuum food sealer, like for me this is a game changer. I am a single male who has been producing a lot of waste of the past couple of years due to not finding recipes that properly produce the right amount of food, to which I’m sure many of you have experienced. With this vacuum sealer I can make food in bulk without worrying about it going bad 5-6 days later. In all honesty this guy has made food prepping easy abs fun again. So far I’ve used it 5-6 times with owning this for about a few weeks now. And I believe that the quality should last me for a some time….. I’m hoping at least a couple of years. Best of all, I did t drop lots of money on the expensive ones. This little guy has been hands down reliable abs I’m excited for future uses with it. Total game changer

Oh my gosh, I really like this sealer. I’ve had others but I would have to say that when I was sealing food for the freezer today it sucked out more air than any other product I’ve had. I was amazed. In the past there were pockets of air here and there in between the pieces of meat or chicken and with this sealer there was none. I definitely will be telling people to look into the Msake if they are interested in getting a food sealer. This was also really easy to open and close and I had no problem putting the bags in the correct place to have all the functions work.

I flatten each food piece after sealing to create easier freezer storage.While I have only had it a week, I can't speak for longevity, but it is solidly constructed and nicely designed. this is a very nice product.
