This review has some good, and a lot of bad. First, the good:
THE GOOD:
These bags seem to have accurate dimensions, and were undamaged when they arrived. I do like that they come inside both a cardboard box and a resealable ziplock slider-type bag. They smooth side seems to be about 0.07mm thick, which aligns with manufacturer specs (but keep in mind I was only measuring with calipers, which can give differing measurements of plastic depending on how hard you press the jaws together). One side of the bag is smooth, and the other has a grid-like texture, which seems to emulate the FoodSaver bags. However, the grid texture is not as deep as FoodSaver bags (see negatives below).
THE BAD:
The grid texture is only about half as deep as in genuine FoodSaver bags. This does not impact me, because I use a vacuum chamber sealer. However, if you are using a regular non-chamber sealer (like FoodSaver), this might make these bags have severely reduced function. From what I understand, standard vacuum sealers rely on this grid like texture on one side of the bag to provide an opening for air inside the bags to escape during the sealing process. If the grid is reduced in thickness, the surface area of the air channels created by the grid will be reduced, which could cause issues during the sealing process. Again, I have not verified this, as I use a chamber sealer. This is pure postulation on my part, based on the observation that the grid on these bags is just over half the thickness of a genuine FoodSaver bag.

This is the primary reason I have rated these bags so low. They claim to be FDA approved and very safe, when in fact they are not. A cursory look through the FDA website indicates that the FDA does not seem to give (or require) approval for items like this, which are not intended to be ingested by consumers or function as a medical device. If you just search the web for "FDA Approval", you will find an article published directly by the FDA proclaiming this.
So, right off the bat the FDA approval logo is incorrect and misleading. However, perhaps they actually meant that the company is an FDA registered company? This does not signify approval by the FDA, just that the company has paid the filing fee to the be included in the FDA database. However, a search through the FDA registration database yields no company with the name AWOLIC (see photos, and verify for yourself)! So, no matter how you slice it, the "FDA Approval" claim is completely incorrect and a blatant lie to get more people to purchase this product and feel comfortable using it.
CONCLUSIONS:
These bags seems like decent quality bags, although I am not sure if they would work well in a standard vacuum sealer given that the grid texture is not as thick as regular FoodSaver bags. As such, I will not be using these for food applications, and will only use these as storage bags for other non-food items.
