Can this be used for store bought salad in bag?

Answer: Initially I wasn’t too happy with the results but my husband discovered I had not used fresh batteries. Once he replaced the batteries it has worked like a charm....on soft plastic bags for store bought salad and harder cellophane for snacks.

Answer: I have used it for popcorn I bought at the store, which is thick. Also in many other items.

In the first time, I really did not know how to use, I thought it was not a useful item or not my expected product. However, after figuring out you have to press and hear a click sound, then it works as expected. After that, I can use it for all I want. Too good to be true. Did not work as expected, it would met the bag if left on same spot for 1 sec too long and then bag would not seal. If not left on spot long enough it would not seal bag.

This has become my favorite kitchen gadget! It’s easy to use and fits in a drawer. It works very well on most bags...some bags are slicker than others and requires a second pass. The seal is very secure, and impossible (for me) to pull apart. So I have to cut it open to use, and then reseal, which results in the bag becoming smaller and smaller. Okay by me. I don’t use the little knife attached. Just a personal phobia. Foods stay fresher longer. All in all, a great little gadget I didn’t know I needed!

I randomly came across this mini bag sealer and I LOVE using it honestly.

I must admit however it was very confusing to use at first, however I read other reviews and watched the videos (super helpful), put the batteries and let it heat up a couple of minutes and it works like a charm! I also really love that it’s small actually because I can just keep it in my purse on trips, and the color is beautiful.

I purchased this because we are on the road a lot, and once the kids open a snack it either gets spilled everywhere or goes stale. This is a perfect solution and saves us from going through Ziploc bags. We just reseal our snacks and they are kept fresh and in their package the whole car trip, or sports tournament. It even works to reseal pop-tart packets if you only eat one out of the package. It did take a little practice to get used to using it, but once we got the hang of it, we love it.
