Answer: The shelves are all chrome

What is the size of the holes on the trays?

Answer: about 3/4"

Is the inside lined with polycarbonate? Are the racks stainless steel or chrome plate? Does the fan assembly detach for cleaning?

Is there any warranty for this product?

Answer: Yes there is, the first time I used mine the heating element brunt in half and I called them, they sent me a call tag for the old unit and I had a new unit within a couple of days,was a bad connection that caused it to burn in half not a bad element.

Stainless steel or chrome-plated stainless steel for the shelving - big difference. sportsman's guide, which is it?

Answer: Doesn't matter, the machine I had quit working after 3 months. Sent it back and they sent me a new one. It lasted 6 months. Got a refund and bought an Excaliber. It's worked great for 2 years and still going strong. They are a couple of hundred dollars more but if you plan on using it much, it's well worth it. It has a 10 year warranty. Sorry I know this didn't really answer your question but it's the best advise I have. Guide Gear looks good but isn't.

burns out after about a year, I've had two of them. I returned it and got the Excalibur. Excellent machine. I’ve had it for 3 years now and going strong. It has a 10 year warranty. Highly recommend the Excalibur!
