I bought this to prevent freezer burn and help keep my meat last longer. The vacuum seal works great, though it didn't seal as tightly as I expected (but my chicken was also thawed, not frozen). It is really easy to work. Makes very little noise and very light weight. The only bad thing I can say is I do have to apply pressure on the middle in order for it to completely seal. Also instructions could be a little more clear on how to operate the vacuum. But great product over all for beginners like myself.

Suction works great the problem is it doesn't do a good job sealing the bags. Even with double sealing both ends I had 1 out of 3 bags or so leaking air over time. I returned it and got a more expensive food saver and haven't had an issue since. Honestly, do yourself a favor and spend the money once for a higher quality vacuum packer.

Q : Good for food storage, easy to use

I'm really busy recently so I went to the grocery stores 1-2 times monthly. It's always hard to storge food and keep them fresh, especially meat/seafood, etc... This one is pretty easy to use and I like it! The Vaccum sealing also helps save a lot of space in the fridge. And the price is also good, compared to many other vacuum sealers!

Vacuum and seal option didnt work from out of the box. After a few weeks the sealer stopped working. Now it is just taking up space.

I was planning to use this machine when I got my fictional bluefin tuna. For now, I tested with carrots, works flawlessly. I will update it when the tuna comes in.

Update: After a couple of use, I just found out that the sealing heat seems not enough to melt the bag. It will not seal!
