With simple dampers, you can funnel smoke and heat to the cook chamber or out of the offset smoker conversion. The minimum temperature holds at 215 automatically with a closed damper. When you open the damper to the cook chamber, the temperature rises to reach your ideal BBQ and holds for hours.

BYPASS SYSTEM: Refuel your firebox and restack your cook chamber without getting any unwanted heat or smoke on your face and food with this charcoal smoker grill. With a sufficiently sized chute, you can load fresh fuel into the firebox without opening the cook chamber, lifting the unit, or modifying the original grill bottom.

Can i use this in my 22 wsm?

Answer: Probably would not work as well as a traditionally Weber kettle. The main temp control is the steam that the water makes being close to the heat. Bottom line, you put the meats above the Smoke Stack so I think you are defeating its purpose on a WSM.
