Has been looking for a vacuum sealer but did not want to pay an arm and a leg! This one totally gets the job done and the price is a fraction of the cost of name brand ones!

So far I have used it a few times. I haven't used bigger name brand devices but I feel like this one takes a long time to seal, it isnt terribly long maybe 5-10 seconds. You are limited to only sealimg bags and a certain size but so far everything I have put in has sealed and worked well.

I bought this vacuum sealer because I’ve been stocking up on produce, and I wanted to be able to store it for months in the freezer! It’s done exactly what I want and given a great seal and taken the air out so that my food doesn’t get freezer burn. The design is sleek, and I love that bags are included. Here’s a helpful trick too! If the bag is too large, cut it down and seal the side you cut down. Then, just add your half avocado or whatever you’re freezing, and seal the other side like normal. I think this may become one of my most used kitchen appliances!

Let me just start out saying, I have an expensive FoodSaver vacuum sealer that works very well. However, it is bulky and it takes up a good bit of space to use. After a while, it becomes a LOT less "exciting" to deal. I still love it and it is very useful but, it has tons of features I will rarely if ever use.

After purchasing the Dreamme Automatic Vacuum Food Sealer, I realize just how wonderful it is. It is very light and very portable, and of great quality. It's very easy to work with and therein lies the real value of owning one. I can set it just about anywhere in an instant and "now", with inexpensive pre-made gallon, quart and/or pint size bags, it's no trouble to use and that makes using it a no-brainer. Now, I can do what I need to do, quickly and efficiently and cleaning up is just as quick and efficient. I love it !!!

Benjamin Eastmond : Good vacuum, good seal, not great together.

I've tried this out a couple of times now, and have yet to get a decent vacuum seal out of it. The vacuum part is great: it sucks air quickly, and isn't terribly noisy when it does so. Problem is, it doesn't stop. It'll suck air until it completely crushes whatever is in the bag (a sandwich for my first experiment, and an egg-and-cheese biscuit for my second), and then just keeps trying to suck air, without ever stopping to seal. You can manually interrupt the vacuum by pressing any button, but then the controls are locked out for a few seconds, so by the time it lets you manually seal the bag you have air leaking back in. Very disappointing.
The sealing part does work great, though, once the control lock-out is done. A clean line, with no interruptions or weak spots. That's why I gave this device three stars instead of one: even though it's not a good vacuum sealer, it is a good sealer.

LL : Simple to use, cheap, small, effective; just stick with "dry" items tho

This "DREAMME Vacuum Sealer" is back to the basics and easy to use. Just 2 electronic buttons and 2 mechanical buttons. All you need to do is open unit (with the mechanical buttons), align the mouth of the bag with the 2 alignment tabs inside, close the machine, and press one of the electronic buttons. The vacuuming is fairly fast and effective, works just like my $200 FoodSaver V4xxx machine (that is bulky and heavy). So, these days, I prefer using this small "DREAMME" unit than my FoodSaver unit.

I love the fact that I can *easily* "double seal" with this "DREAMME" machine, after the first seal, I like to open the machine up, move my bag down/out maybe 1/2 an inch, and then close it again, and get it to seal again (my 2nd seal). I cook with Sous Vide (water bath cooking) extensively, and "double sealing" guarantee that there is no leak into my food while they are submerged in the water.

I have used various different brands of "vacuum sealer bags", they all works fairly well with this "DREAMME" unit; basically whatever works with my FoodSaver works with this "DREAMME" too.

I would stick with only doing "dry" items with this "DREAMME Vacuum Sealer" tho, and if I have to do anything moist or liquid, I would go back to my FoodSaver or if I do use this "DREAMME", I would make sure no moisture get remotely close to getting "suck up", or I would just squeeze out the air manually, and just use the "seal only" function on this machine.

Lastly, this unit is cheap, fairly much disposable cost, as compare to the name brand "FoodSaver" machines.
