- The fruits and vegetables are better stored in the refrigerator after being sealed. (Avoid breaking the vacuum due to gas generation)
- When sealing soft fruits or vegetables, it is recommended to select the "MOIST MODE" to avoid squeezing damage to the food due to excessive suction.
- There is a white prompt line at the top of the vacuum bag opening which can guide you to insert it into the correct position of the vacuum machine.
- For those foods that are much smaller than the vacuum sealer bags, the vacuum sealer bags can be cut accordingly before sealing.
- It is better to make the glossy side of the bag upward and textured side downward when placing into the sealer.
- Make sure there is no excessive moisture and overfilling.

Answer: I believe it’s the lids you will need. A regular Mason jar with the addition of the vacuum lids it what you’ll need. Lots of those right here at Amazon.

This has happened on every time I’ve tried to use these bags with sous vide! Why the heck is air getting in there!? That should not happen.
Answer: I'm not sure I understand the problem. However, I have noticed that in order to get a proper seal, the bag has to be inserted deeply into the sealer. Also, the contents of the bag has to be small enough to allow the bag to be put into the sealer in the right position. It is a little tricky. I think, though. that it is a good device.

The Fresko vacuum seal bags are definitely premium quality - they even include a notch for tearing open! I use vacuum bags mostly for sous vide meals, and occasionally for fresh meat storage. They are really easy to use, they can be easily removed from the box, are perfect for single or smaller 2 serving products. I will be ordering more of this brand in the future, probably in a larger size.

I recently got a Fresko vacuum/sealer unit. And, as a result, I also needed bags for it. I saw these and got these.
These are fairly small storage bags, but they do work. They are expensive, as of this review they are approximately $14 for around 100. You can get “Ziploc” bags for less.
But, can they vacuum out air and keep everything fresh?
I’m definitely happy with them. Though in the future, I will probably get the bigger bags.

I have had issues in the past with other brands of vacuum sealing bags or roll-based bag material being rumpled on the textured side, which prevents proper removal of the air and can even create an incomplete seal when the heat is applied by the vacuum sealer.
These bags all are perfectly smooth and not rumpled in the least. As such, every bag I have sealed so far has sealed perfectly. You do, of course, need to ensure the contents don't get on the sealing area when filling since that will always cause an incomplete seal, but if used properly, these bags are as close to perfect as you can get.

Fresko pre-cut vacuum sealer bags do not vacuum seal well on my Geryon vacuum sealer. I do not recommend using this vacuum bags for Geryon vacuum sealer.

If there is only you, or perhaps only two, this size makes great serving sizes. It can hold one large chicken breast. Be sure to season it before sealing, and you'll have an easy, flavorful dinner. It is great for other individual meat servings as well.
If you like to prep, this size holds salt and spices very well. I would not put anything sharp in these, mainly because of the relatively small surface area. Even if you buy extra spices in plastic containers, vacuum-sealing them in these bags will add a lot of extra shelf life.

JustMyOpinion : Perfect For Single Servings (Pint Sized)
My father is 92 and needs a pureed diet. So I now make a quantity of a recipe like meatloaf and then freeze one or two portions in each bag for myself. I take my father's foods, puree them and freeze them in those large silicon ice cube things and then freeze a "meal" of a meat and 2 veg in this size. It's so nice being able to come home from work and grab a fully prepared, healthy, homemade meal. I only recently got a vacuum sealer and I wonder how I lived without it.
The bags seal as well or better than any I've tried so far. Very happy with them. Would purchase again!

These are great single serving size bags overall, but I have noticed that boney cuts of meat can perforate the bags. They're slightly thinner than the OEM bags, but it's enough that if a cut of chicken breast, lamb, or even a few ribs poke through they can tear the bag when the vacuum sealer suctions down.
I have a Food Saver V4400, so other sealers may work differently. These are smaller bags, and since they're sealed on three sides already, all I have to do is use my sealer to seal the last end. I can seal these without vacuum packing if I need to put things like chips or leftovers in them for the fridge, but when I use the vacuum feature it works well. The inside of the bag has a textured surface that allows air to flow through and suction out. It seems a little less textured than OEM, but the sealer didn't work any harder to pull the extra air out.
I do a double seal with these, which can be harder since they're short bags. My machine auto detects so I am careful to place the bag back as far as I can for the initial seal, and then slightly place it in to capture a second seal. This helps incase for some reason one seal breaks. It does trap a tiny amount of air between seals, but it's better than losing an entire chicken breast to freezer burn. They suction down nicely and since I have a wet feature on my machine, I don't have to prefreeze anything before using these bags. Overall, good buy at $14 for 100 count. It makes them about 14 cent per bag which can help save a $2-$20 cut of meat or single portion out blanched produce. I'll just be careful not to seal up bone in cuts and they'll be perfect. I'd get them again.
