Perfect sized landing net for fishing from shore. Being rubber coated is great cause nothing will get stuck or tangled in it. Collapsible and extending, double bonus.

I'm so amazed at the quality of engineering these days. This net is so compact when folded, yet expands into a fully functions, well made and easy to use fishing tool. The net is strong and well made. The handle is made out of quality aluminum. The design is easy to use even without instructions.

The folding mechanism feels like it's durable and the belt clip is definitely strong enough to keep this net attached to your bucket or your hip.

This will make an excellent gift for an aspiring fisherman.

D Velasquez : Convenient net for light fish

I am impressed with this SF foldable net, it collapses into a small enough size to fit in my backpack so I can take it anywhere quickly and with ease. Very simple to open and close, and the pole extends so I can use it with the pole extended or retracted. This is especially useful when I fish from my kayak as smaller is better. This landing that comes with basic instructions on how to unfold and how to store, which are easy to understand. The entirety of the net feels as reliable enough to land light fish such as trout, bass, and panfish. I would not use it for big fish unless it was the only net available at the time. I definitely recommend it for freshwater fishing. For me, optimal use of this net is when fishing from a kayak or a boat. Extremely satisfied with this light and convenient landing net.

This is a short, light weight net that packs easily. If you're doing some bank fishing for small bass, etc it can be nice to have on hand, especially for the kids. BUT, it's not reaching very far, so you'll have to get down right on the water's edge. Would also work off the side of a john boat, skiff or something with a very low profile hull. I could see a heavy fish (10 plus pounds) giving this net issue...it's pretty light weight.

2KidsInApod : Easy to Pack, Fold and Unfold! Exactly as Described!

We love to go fishing and tired of packing our long aluminium Fishing net so I decided to look for the foldable kind.
PROS:
* Easy To Pack!
* Folding and Unfolding is a breeze. Mine comes with an instructions (I attached the photo just in case yours doesn’t comes with one)
* Mesh Net, Aluminium frames/handle is of high quality
* Easy to do and undo the telescoping feature
* Wide Net

CONS:
* We have not use it yet to catch a really heavy fish (10+ lbs) but I can understand why there is a concern in the folding mechanism coz it can get shaky. 5 lbs gets it tipping towards front so that can be a concern.
* Not sure how long The Folding mechanism can last. After using a few times the clicking lock sound becomes different but again we have not use it long enough to justify that it is good or bad. Just think it is good for occasional fishing and not for big catch kind all the time. (Will update my review if we encounter any problems after using it a few months)

I got this SF Foldable Fishing Landing Net with Collapsible Telescopic Aluminum Pole Handle,Durable Mesh with Rubber Coating in recently and this works well , l like how compact it is.

The black netting is durable and rubbery. It says it’s hook-proof witch is a good feature to have. The netting also has a waterproof coating on it. This is also good because I plan on keeping this in a sling pack so the net shouldn’t stay wet for long.

Speaking of keeping in my sling pack the way this folds up and has the telescopic poles is awesome. I never thought I would be able to fit a net in my bag until I come across this net. It’s also super easy to extend fully or fold up to store it.

Overall this is a good net however this net seems to only be for medium to smaller fish like crappie. Anything to large and the frame part of the net could bend but I expected that with a foldable net. Just keep that in mind.
I would recommend this net to use with
small-medium fish

I’m a backpacker and often take multi day trips to lakes and rivers. I wanted to get a net that could pack away easy. This net blew away my expectations that it’s super fast to deploy or stowaway. It’s really strong for its size. It’s an aluminum body and heavy rubber net. The only plastic on the net is in the locking latch for the net and the pole. The pole in its shortest length is 12 inches and can double to 24 inches. The net is also 12x12x12 giving you a lot of volume to scoop up your catch. This is definitely a great deal for light weight setups.

Ok I have read a few other reviews on this net. And come to my own opinion and we’ll. This is a great net it’s compact light weight and is extremely easy to open and close up not sure why some of the other reviewers posted it’s junk for. Other than they can’t read the instructions that came with the net.
Pretty lame for someone to give a bad review on this NET when it is exactly what is described for the product description I LOVE THIS NET I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IT EXCELLENT PRODUCT LIGHT WEIGHT EASY TO OPEN AND CLOSE FOLDS UP NICELY COMPACT NET.

This net is incredible and heavy duty!!! Durable and functional. Easy to unfold and refold! Bigger than i imagined. Only wish it came with a store mesh bag or something but I still love it. Easy to pack and feels well made. Not floppy or flimsy. Its rubberized net too. Great for catching minows, Bates, crawfish, and hauling bigger fish out of the water. The handle is also extendable so my 6ft 3 in husband w long arms can use it easily and my kids and I with shorter arms can also use it comfortably .
