You can also use your finger to apply downward and backwards (away from the device) to slide the cover off. It is difficult but can be done. Once you succeed once you will be able to do it thereafer. Bought this on a whim thinking it might be better than using all the clips or containers to keep things fresh. This thing is easy to use and seals bags just like new. Had a bag of baby spinach that we used the sealer on and it has lasted in the fridge for a couple of weeks. It’s just as fresh as the first time we opened the bag. Just trim the bag and seal it back up after each use. Would highly recommend this product. Keeps food fresh, easy to use, saves money. I gave one to a family member and thinking a few others need one as well.

I was tired of opening bags of crackers and chips and then having them become stale and soggy becasue they were not sealed properly. This little tool is the perfect solution! Just press down on one end to activate the heating element and slide it across the cellophane packaging to reseal it. Easy enough for kids to do. Does not work on some bag surfaces like paper with a coated interior lining but works on most others bags. It even has a convenient hook so that you can hang in in your cabinet for quick retrieval.

This product works but is hard to maneuver. It has a seal but not a firm seal, as the sealed part can easily be broke up on accident by holding the bag wrong. You also have to use scirrora to shorten your bag down to better glide it through. Again it does close up the bag with a seal.

This is a great little set to have in your kitchen! I used to have just one potato peeler that I used for any and all veggies and it was really dull over time. I opted for this set because it had some more versatility and hopefully will last longer since I’ll be using a few tools instead of just one. Recommend!

Maybe this is a user error, but doesn’t seal up as well as I had hoped. I bought this to reseal nail strips (dry nail strips) and I had many go bad on me. In the past I’ve always used a regular straight iron with no problems.

A. Edlings : The right blend of value for money and design
On one hand there are some aspects of materials and construction consistent with the lower quality you’d expect for the price point, but on the other hand the design is so good I’m not sure it matters. It’s compact, fits well on the bike, works well. It may last a long time but if it doesn’t I’d prefer replacing it with another than some of the more seemingly durable but poorly designed and also expensive pumps I’ve had.

At first I was about to complain about the ambiguous instructions, but really, it's well designed enough that you can just sorta figure it out, so yeah- this pump is dummy-proof. Even a dummy like me could assemble it in the middle of a conference call.

So I bought this product because we always have chips or open bags that you can taste go stale. It is not the best thing to get home and want some and you taste them. Think about it, it ruins the taste for quite a while. I am very impressed though. We first got it and I sat there with no hope for it thinking this is going to be one of those things I will have forever, that will never work. But I figured I would give it a shot. It was difficult to use at first but what isn't when you first get it. If you hold it their longer you will have better luck with it. Slowly use the heater side pushing it across the bag and you should like it so much more. Keep in mind it takes time to get it perfect. The quicker you go the less you are letting it do its job. I would recommend this product to others like I have my friends and family including, that one grandma that you see every weekend that tells you don't forget to bring it with you. But now it stays at home because she is going to get one of her own. It is not for when you are in a rush it takes time but you will get the hang of it and love it as much as me and my grandma do!

Very well designed small pump. The flexible tube is stored on the handle which makes a very small form factor. The flex tube makes operating the pump very easy. It mounts very discretely. I really like the pump and it's perfect for my application. I use it for a baby stroller with small inflatable tires. I will say the air volume is relatively modest so if you desire a quick inflation of larger tires, this may be on the small side for you.

Terrific little pump. Screws in securely to presta valve. (The easy way to screw it in is to rotate the whole pump while you hold the connector in place.) I was pumping a big tire with a lot of pressure and the pump handled it fine. I would give 6 stars if I could by going above and beyond with the tire changing tabs. So easy to use.

Just what I was looking for, very compact & easy to store on my bike. It includes everything you would need to repair a tire flat. There are even adapters to inflate footballs & basketballs. They include a bracket to mount on your bike, but the box (only 7 inches long) would easily fit in a small bike bag. I bought two of these mini pumps, gave one to my daughter & her husband.

This device does require a some finesse to get the hang of it, but after a few attempts, you definitely start getting the hang of it. Warming up the device is necessary for getting the product hot enough to start creating a seal on first contact.

I love this thing! We buy frozen vegetables. The bags don’t come with a way to reseal them. We always used rubber bands, which I hated. I finally wondered why I was still doing this when there was such a nice solution. I ❤️ Love this thing! No more extra material to deal with and my frozen vegetables are much fresher. The chocolate chips are sealed, the crackers and the chips. With it being magnetized, I enjoy having it right on the refrigerator!

Pretty easy to use following the directions in description. I saw a similar product on YouTube and though it seemed useful to have on hand especially since my spouse tends to rip open packaging but hadn't really needed to use it since purchasing. Today I decided to just try it out to make sure it works after he ripped open a bag of candy. I wasn't going to try to save the packaging so just tried on small section. Directions said may need to go over area a few times so I did when I saw the ends were not sealing but the seal was actually lower down so I ended up making multiple seals. The battery compartment doesn't have a lot of depth so it didn't fit the rechargeable batteries I first tried but regular Duracell batteries fit fine.

I love this product. It is so easy to use. What I love about this is it's dual. It can cut the bag and seal it too. I have small pentry. So when I get groceries so once I open bags of lentils and some other stuff doesn't fit in one jar and no space for extra jars. So I fill half in the jar and leave it in big box with rubber bands on it. Some time it breaks and mix everything. Since I got this product I can seal it back and it stay fresh. The sealer never got hot enough to actually seal anything. I tried both sealers, switched batteries and still got barely Luke warm. Do not waste your money.

Interesting little pump - it has a flexible air hose line that comeS our of one end so it can be attached to any size or position bike tire valve stem. Also comes with bike tire removal tools and patches for tubes and needle for inflation of football, basketball, etc. only thing it lacks is an air pressure gauge, but this is a great little emergency inflator that includes hardware to mount to predrilled water bottle holes in bike.

I love being able to reseal bags! No more having to find a twisty tie or plastic bag clip. My only complaint is that I don’t always look close enough to which end of the sealer I’m using and ‘open’ my bag again - but that’s on me. I purposely used a bag of mini marshmallows, one cup of hot chocolate at a time, just so I could reseal the bag over and over. It does take patience to learn to move the sealer slow enough to reseal, yet fast enough not to melt through.

I purchased this tool because I was having to use a whole bag of clothes pins to close my different snack bags. The device has a cutter on one end and the sealer on the other. The arrows pointing to different ends I found to be confusing. The way I know which end is the cutter and which is the sealer is the cutter end has black pads and the sealer end has white pads.
I only needed one sealer so I am giving away the other one. My pantry looks much more organized now that my bags don't have clips on them.

My mom gave me a giant electric vacuum sealer that works amazing, but it takes up so much room and is always in the way. I bought these little sealers so that I could seal stuff without having a giant appliance to store. These work ok. The seal is super skinny and I find smaller items work the best. Big things are just hard to get a hold of. I wish the seal was a little thicker, so you could tell it is working. The seal so skinny that it almost seems like it isn't working. But it seems to. Price and size are a 5 stars, usage compared to a larger item is less impressive. I do use it for my color street nails to reseal and it works for that (I hope). I haven't decided if I'm going to get a different small sealer. For now, I'll keep this. It came with 2, so I'll probably gift one.

Maybe this is a user error, but doesn’t seal up as well as I had hoped. I bought this to reseal nail strips (dry nail strips) and I had many go bad on me. In the past I’ve always used a regular straight iron with no problems.
I had to hold down a really kind time to get it to heat up, too.

When I received mine, I was elated at the convenience and ease of use. In went my batteries and 'Walmart my pretzel bag was sealed that was ripped all the way down the side. Conveninet small and can hang conveniently where ever a hook may be. This handy tool works on many style bags. It is a must gadget for kitchen, work, garage or tool room. LOVE IT ????????

This gadget is great to have around in the kitchen for resealing chips and cookie bags etc. It is easy to use. Just insert the batteries, hold it together at the top for a few seconds to heat up and then slide it across whatever you want to seal. No need for clips anymore. Great deal for 2 of them. Brought one into the office.
A. Edlings : The right blend of value for money and design
On one hand there are some aspects of materials and construction consistent with the lower quality you’d expect for the price point, but on the other hand the design is so good I’m not sure it matters. It’s compact, fits well on the bike, works well. It may last a long time but if it doesn’t I’d prefer replacing it with another than some of the more seemingly durable but poorly designed and also expensive pumps I’ve had.

I bought this to make small pouches for all of my daily pills and vitamins for home and when I travel. Saves me time to grab a single pouch and even take one with me if I’m running late. At first I didn’t think it was working right. What I found was on clear plastic bags you need to literally melt off the excess as you slide the sealer. The edge then seals properly as you slide it. I haven’t had an opportunity to use it on bags of snacks yet, but I’m sure it will work just as good.

My 11yrs old son and I were so eager to try it.
It took me a while to figure out where the batteries go and l kept using the cut side to seal a bag.
It’s so simple to use, my son was saying : Really mama, you push and hold the heat side and then slide it to seal. We had so much fun sealing every bag in the house..
I was amazed by how well this works. The fact that we have 2 is an added bonus.

A Hill : Takes a little finesse but works great
This device does require a some finesse to get the hang of it, but after a few attempts, you definitely start getting the hang of it. Warming up the device is necessary for getting the product hot enough to start creating a seal on first contact.
I’d also recommend trying out a few different package materials to know how slow or fast you should go. My main purpose was to use it in gardening supplies which have proved successful! For the cost, I highly recommend!

Interesting little pump - it has a flexible air hose line that comeS our of one end so it can be attached to any size or position bike tire valve stem. Also comes with bike tire removal tools and patches for tubes and needle for inflation of football, basketball, etc. only thing it lacks is an air pressure gauge, but this is a great little emergency inflator that includes hardware to mount to predrilled water bottle holes in bike.

I really like this idea. We are constantly running out of, or breaking chip clips. I used a magnetic hook to hang the device conveniently on the refrigerator. It does seal the packages, but I often have to repeatedly go over the surface to get it sealed. Overall, I think I am more impressed by the idea of this product than I am the use of the product. I use it for now, but I can easily see myself going back to chip clips in the future.
Steven Fowler : Awesome compact tire pump
I just got this today (thanks 1-day shipping) and it's a REALLY good pump for the price. Easy to switch from Schrader to Presta valves. I pumped up both mine and my wife's road bikes (presta valve) very quickly. The pump is also compact and easy to attach to your bike. Just a great little pump. I researched a lot of this style of pump before settling on this one based on the reviews and I am not disappointed. It performs like the $30 compact pumps out there. You also get a small tire tube repair kit. I haven't used it yet, but good to know I can take that along with me in case it's needed in an emergency. I highly recommend this product and seller. I paid full price for this product and I'm not receiving anything for this review, I just think it's that good!

This sealer works really good on all bags that I have used it on. It works exceptionally well on potato chip bags. Obviously, there is no vacuum function so you will have to remove as much as you can by hand. But it does seal very well and is completely airtight. The straightness of the line is determined by your level of perfectionism, if that is important.
As a test, I emptied a small potato chip bag and sealed it with some air inside. I put approximately 1 lb on top of it and a factory sealed bag for just over a week. Neither of them deflated at all.

Lawrence Iserson : No response from owner about defective unit
I received this item and tried it out. Not so easy with the cutting end, but I don’t care about that. The heating end worked fine. I wanted to give the second one to my daughter. It did not work. Kept trying, still didn’t work. I was going to return for exchange but then I saw the note from the owner saying to please email her if there were any problems and she would rectify them. I sent her an email. No response. I sent it again. No response. If she was going to put a note in the box like that, she should honor her note.

You have to go slow and it is a good idea to have fresh batteries. We noticed we were playing with it so much that our batteries started to die and the seal was not as good.
We also made the mistake of pressing too hard on the cutting side, and believe we may have bent the very tiny blade that cuts the bag open. Now it tears and rips instead of a clean razor blade cut, but we don't mind since we usually use scissors instead. Overall, for the low price we enjoyed this tiny innovation and the numerous opportunities to seal everything in our house.... I should note, I am to receive an Amazon e-gift card for writing this excellent review from mempedont_Service@outlook.com; but the aforementioned review is the truth.

Such a cool product and for such a great price! I'm still getting used to the sealing part but it's kind of fun to seal random snacks that are in my pantry and now I don't have to worry about food getting stale! Now I dont have to have a whole bunch of rubber bands or chip clips.

This mini bike pump is perfect for my mountain bike. The main things that make this bike pump the perfect tool to carry is the size, the included bracket, both presta & schrader value compatibility, no logos on the pump, and it works. I've used this pump a couple of times already and it has worked well.
I really like how compact this is on my water bottle cage, and the fact that it's all black with no logos makes for a very clean & sleek look. I will definitely pick up another pump for my other bike now that I know this one is reliable.

Tina : Will save money... no more stale food!
We always used chip clips on every bag we opened, When putting them in the freezer, chip clips just don’t stay. We purchased the 2 pack of these sealers and highly recommend them. My husband used it just last night on a thick bag that I really didn’t think it would seal but it sure did!
