Steven B. : Good Reel For A Good Price

I bought this reel as a replacement for a 40 year old Diawa spincast before I had read any reviews on it but have had no issues at all. It came pre-spooled with 10lb test although I would have preferred 6 or 8 but it casts like a dream. I bought it a my local Meijer store for the same price.

Podo98 : Very Big, Very Heavy

I purchased the 20 size for saltwater fishing. I needed a spincast reel that the kids could use and not have to worry about backlashing my $$$ baitcasters. This reel appears built like a tank and weighs as much. It is really large and heavy. It may be too much to handle for smaller kids. Seems to cast ok, no issues there so far. Although it doesn't cast very far at least with lighter inshore tackle. I'll keep it for $30. The KastKing Brutus is better. I put 30lb braid on the Brutus and it works great.

Dennis Martin : Not reliable when trying to retrieve line.

Reel wouldn't retrieve the line unless line was being held tight with hand. Also heavy for it's size.

Will L. : JUNK OF THE WORST DEGREE

This reel was broken or seems to be missing parts as the spinnerhead will not fully engage. Therefore the the line cannot be retreived. It's heavier than some levelwinds that I own and just won't work. I am a very profecient reel mechanic and I could not make this work .This is JUNK! Buy a Zebco 33 and do yourself a favor.
