I'm not a huge fan of baitcasting reels. I've tried them in the past, but they always seemed to bird nest on me when casting (I'm no master "thumb breaker.") Plus Plussino seems to have figured out how to allow even an 8 year old to cast effortlessly, so dad doesn't have to fix nests all day! The magnetic braking system works well, the bearings are slick and smooth and it feels like this thing can cast 200 yards!
My little lake spot doesn't allow for casting that far, so I may take it to the local field to try that out!
No fish caught, so I can't comment on the return under load, but the action is SUPER FAST, with a nice 6.5:1 return rate.
My kids loved trying it out and I loved not getting the pleasure of fixing nests from them, thanks to the break.
Definitely provides a lot of bang for the buck. I also like this more than the Kastking that didn't work well for me. For the cost, it's worth trying out if you're new to baitcasters and if you're seasoned and want something you don't have to worry about leaving in your car.

I received the replacement and ordered another. I have 6 LB Braid on one and 80 lb. braid on the second. It sure fills up fast with the 80, grin. That said the Plusinno is one of my favorites along with a Phisfun. I find the brakes easy to get off and lube spool. I find the controls, contrary to most, easy to read and adjust. They just work and for the price that moves my pic of the pile [and I've got all the reels on Amazon under $100.00] in my collection. For now I can't tell much difference between a 5-7 bearing and the 10-12. I'm sure time will tell if the high bearing models show less wear than bushing models. Happy fishing, tight lines, and get you a Plusinno.........

It is just a cheap reel and I wouldn’t recommend it. If you just want a reel that looks cool but doesn’t work well then this is the reel for you. Would probably be okay for a kids reel. Don’t try to catch anything big with it.

I picked up this reel for another setup I am working on. I went with this one primarly due to the name, Plusinno. I have purchased several of their other products and have been very happy with the quality and the price. This reel has a great feel to in and is very smooth. I haven't had a lot of experience with Baitcasters but I figure its time I learn. I would definitely recommend this reel.

The reel is super hard to dial in and to get the tensions correct. I have other baitcasters and they are significantly easier to tune.

After a few hundred casts and a handful of fish caught up in NH I'm really impressed by this baitcasting reel. It's very smooth and lightweight. I was afraid to buy a baitcasting reel as I've always stuck with spinning reels but due to the price and reviews of others I figured I'd take the leap and boy I'm glad I did.
