Does this model support FoodSaver brand wide mouth jar sealer accessory kit?

Answer: If you have the jar attachments. We bought the attachments that fit Food Saver and they work fine.

Will this work with mylar bags besides regular bags, there must be a better way than using oxygen absorbers and a iron?

Answer: Probably. I've never tried it. Think it would depend on size of bag.

I want to be able to control the amount of vacuuming before sealing. How do I control that?

Answer: Our brand is FreshWorld. We don't have a bag of this size. The biggest one is about 11 inches * 50 feet. Our bags have 7-layer heavy-duty bags with embossed exhaust channels, which can remove air to the greatest extent and prevent punctures.

Answer: It can be used as long as it is a textured bag on the surface, but the material of each product may be different. In order to avoid errors in the use of the vacuum machine, it is recommended to use our own bags. There are currently various sizes of bags in the store. For you to choose.

does this machine accept foodsaver vaccum bags?

Answer: Yes

It says removable drip tray. How do you remove the tray? It seems to be not detachable.

Answer: The drip tray is not removable, but our heating wire is replaceable.

Can you stop this at a certain point of vacuuming and seal manually?

Answer: Hello, this machine not support this function, but the ASIN B08BRCMK51 support is.

Will this take a 50' roll in holder ?

Answer: Don't think so. We put a different roll in that was thicker and it would not fit. The bags were thicker grade plastic so made the diameter bigger. We used them anyway by cutting with scissors. After we got the size down, they fit but cutter drug on the thicker bags. Our bags were off brand and not Good Saver. But we bought 5 rolls do will use them anyway.

This machine can seal 2 trace in one bag at a time?

It was sent without a power cord. I sent a message to the seller and never got a response. 1 week later I received the power cord in the mail. The vacuum sealer leaves air gaps and doesn't easily double seal. I'm returning this item.

We have an old Food Saver that still works, but we figured that it's living on borrowed time. That, plus the fact that we wanted to go back to one where we could raise the lid, close it, and then seal it. After looking at numerous sealers, we decided to go with this one because of all the seemingly good features. However, after setting it up and trying it, we discovered that it has some flaws that we just couldn't deal with.

The following are the reasons we didn't like this machine, and the reason I gave it only two stars, which I feel was generous.

1. This is cosmetic, but, as some others mentioned, the blue plastic that comes on this thing doesn't peel off easily at all. It's embedded in the crevices, and would take a lot of time and effort to get it all out.

2. Locking the sealer down is not easy. In fact, it's very difficult to do with my limited hand strength, but even my husband, who's much stronger, had some difficulty with it, too.

3. It starts sealing immediately after it's locked. For some, this might be all right, but I prefer locking it, then choosing moist or dry, regular or gentle, and then pushing a button to start it.

4. It's very difficult to stop it at any time during the sealing process, and then sealing the bag. Quite often I need to do this, and with my Food Saver, it's a one-step process.

5. It takes a very long time to seal. In fact, it takes almost twice as much time as my Food Saver.

6. The bag cutter doesn't work nearly as well as our Food Saver one does. It takes a couple of swipes to cut the bag, and one shouldn't have to do that.

I had really high hopes for this because it sounded so good, and because I wanted to try a different brand. However, I guess I'm going to have to go back to a Food Saver because that's what has always worked for us in the past.

Extremely upset. As soon as it arrived I was super excited. Took it out of the box and starting peeling the blue protective film off. It appears the put the film on before assembling the machine so it took 20 minutes to get the film off and I scratched my brand new machine in the process. I had to walk away. I’ll let you know if I decide to keep it.
