So far I have only used it to make fruit leather. The temp and time were easy to set. It turns itself off. The trays were easy to clean. It is not loud. But you definitely hear it running. I grew up with one so over all I am satisfied

I love this dehydrator so much I bought a second one and extra trays. Dehydrating everything apples, blueberries, peaches, plums & mushrooms. I love the digital timer. No more setting an alarm to turn off the dehydrator in the middle of the night or having over dried fruits & veggies. Also love the nesting trays, takes up so much less room.
