Theory

I need to convert the end of the light connector to usb. do you know what this is call?

Answer: Dear Sir,

This light runs very hot, should it? I thought leds would run much cooler.

Answer: LED's do run cool compared to their light output. This is a very bright light though, and its rated at using 45W. You can imagine how much heat a 45W incandescent bulb would put off. I've left mine on overnight at my dock while it was in the water and noticed no warping or anything the next morning so I'd say as long as you have it in the water you should be fine. Many of these kind of attractor lights explicitly state they need to be run in the water for this very reason, but I can't remember if this one does or not.

Misirugi : Small and very bright for fishing

This little light is very bright for night fishing. Recommend clipping on a weight at the end to keep it from floating up. Came with clips and 12v cigarette lighter plug(separate connectors you can switch out). Cord was plenty long to connect from power source. Wish it came with a storage pouch to keep everything together and organized.

The light is great and for the money put my friends light to shame. Only reason I gave a 3 was the first one I got the box only had a light and neither power connectors. Was able to get a new one overnight deliver before my fishing trip.
