I have been using VacYaYa bags and they work very well but thought I would try another brand just for fun. These are not fun. They do not seal as well and the tear notches are well above the bottom of the bag so you have to squeeze the contents up 2-3 inches to the notches in order to tear the bags. I now need to use scissors to open them. Will not buy again.

Update: I had to throw away at least 150 of these bags. It appeared as though one of the pieces of plastic used to make the pouch was wider than the other. When sealed there was a pucker in the plastic and thus leaked air. Total waste of money!!!
The first 12 of these pouches that I used sealed, but then once put in the freezer the seal broke. We needed a large quantity of bags for the upcoming harvest season, but now have 188 useless bags to throw away. We know its not the sealer that is the problem. So disappointed!!

Bags are of good quality but packaging is no good, second time I've ordered and bags were loose inside shipping package.

They are very narrow. Inserting food into the bags is a challenge. I'm not sure if it is the bag or my food sealer, but not all of the air is removed. I think it has to do with the narrowness of the bag. Meat, particularly, will prevent the air from being pulled out of the corners.

I just finished my reloading, 45 auto, and I put 700 rounds of 45 auto into one of these bags and vacuum sealed them for longer term storage. Even with around 33 pounds of ammo in the bag, the bag held up and doesn't budge. I wasn't sure if it could take the weight, but I could throw this bag around and not have to worry about it puncturing or tearing.
If it can hold up to that, then anything that would normally go into one of these bags (I will use the vast majority of these bags for food related items AKA sous vide) will have no problem with durability.
