Where is this product made?

Answer: It was made in china. But it is the best thing I ever bought

How do you use the cutter?

Answer: I think somewhere on the listing it says that the built in razor is only for thick bags. For me it works best when I hold the bag down on the counter then slide the razor across

Answer: It does not cut. It seals the bag using heat sensors.

Can this be used to seal up protective magazine covers?

Answer: I don’t really know about that. I have used it only for sealing food bags and really like it for that

Answer: Hey! If you are referring to the brown kraft paper bags then no. This sealer will only seal plastic and plastic aluminum bags! Hope that helps!

Answer: So far, it has sealed every kind of bag we have tried it on, ie. chip,cereal, cookies, etc.

Can I seal any plastic bag with this or does it have to be a chip bag?

Answer: I have sealed everything in my pantry lol. I’ve even sealed the plastic bubble wrap bag the sealer arrived it. But mostly all types of plastic and plastic aluminum bags. Not just chip bags. I also use it to seal my color street nails

Answer: I used it on a Juanitas chips bag which is plastic and it worked. But it is the only plastic one I have used it on.

It doesn’t work like it’s advertising. There is no place on bags to hold and pull while you are sealing it. The only way to use it is you start from the middle to one edge and again from the middle to the other edge, but you can’t really see where it’s sealing so it’s hard to match up.

Love this product! It takes a little practice, especially with a larger, more “crinkly” bag, but worth it in the end. Great product!

First it arrived with the metal strip around it popped off on one side - kept having to push it down but it would not stick. But the real issue is that it's not handy to use to seal - it would be a spotty seal so if I instead went slow it would burn through the bag. Not worth the frustration.

For resealing thin plastic, it cuts the thin plastic. For thicker chip bags, it doesn't glide smoothly over the bag. You'll end up running the chip bag over and over to seal it...or I just don't know how to use it.

This little thing works amazing!! My only issue was trying to start at the exact edge to get a full end to end seal but it’s a simple fix to just start in the middle and the from the middle to the end. Nice product.

As a professional organizer, I recommend this smart tool to save space. Use this over and over until the bag is empty. You don't have to store a bunch of chip clips. The handy magnet on the back allows you to hang on your refrigerator for easy access. You never have to hunt for a bag closure, and it's fun to use!

With 4 kids whom are palatably diverse we always end up with numerous opened bags at any given time. I am not a fan of bag clips, which only close one specific spot and never seem to stay on well, nor do I have luck getting my kids to use rubber bands to wrap around the rolled up product to keep things fresh. Enter the chip bag mini sealer!! I didn’t even know this was a thing until a friend of mine introduced me to the possibility! I received this product today and immediately tried it out on all neglected bags sitting inside my pantry. I now have all of my previously opened bags sealed once more and chips and cookies will no longer be wasted! I give it ????????????????
I’ve seen other reviews stating trouble with the magnet not being strong enough. I have found that it works better when adhered directly to the front of my stainless steel fridge as opposed to the side.

What a cool little device! I mainly use this to reseal my pita chip bags and it works great! Instructions are simple, and when I followed them it just seals up my bags as stated. The look of the device is also aesthetically pleasing, kind of has a modern sleek look to it!

I finally don’t worry about opening multiple chip bags/snacks at once anymore thanks to this little handy tool! If your having any trouble with it just don’t slide it too fast. Slide it slow so it seals it nice.
Also be sure to use 2 of the same brand new batteries. So glad I finally found this.

I think this deserves 4.75 stars. The only thing I was disappointed in was how the cutter wasn’t working well. This feels absolutely great in my hand too. My old one feels clunky and uncomfortable. I replaced the batteries in the old one and this small spaces one is still much faster. Super easy to use and worth my money. Looks neat and classy. Way easier to clean than my old one and has a stronger magnet too. Love it!

You must go slowly to close the bag. It takes about 20 seconds to seal the bag, and sometimes, if you go over a seam, you’ll need to go back over it. It was cheap, portable, and does what I need. Perfect? Nah. Good for the money? Absolutely. I have used it many times and the quality is solid. I have not tried to use the magnetic backing. I keep mine in a drawer

Can’t find a chip clip no problem! Such a great handy little tool. Simple to use. Works awesome on different thicknesses of bag with no problem. I trim my bag down to half size and then reseal, it keeps my pantry looking much more organized and keeps everything fresh.
