Answer: I think somewhere on the listing it says that the built in razor is only for thick bags. For me it works best when I hold the bag down on the counter then slide the razor across

Answer: It does not cut. It seals the bag using heat sensors.

Answer: I don’t really know about that. I have used it only for sealing food bags and really like it for that

Answer: Hey! If you are referring to the brown kraft paper bags then no. This sealer will only seal plastic and plastic aluminum bags! Hope that helps!

Answer: So far, it has sealed every kind of bag we have tried it on, ie. chip,cereal, cookies, etc.

Can I seal any plastic bag with this or does it have to be a chip bag?

Answer: I have sealed everything in my pantry lol. I’ve even sealed the plastic bubble wrap bag the sealer arrived it. But mostly all types of plastic and plastic aluminum bags. Not just chip bags. I also use it to seal my color street nails

Answer: I used it on a Juanitas chips bag which is plastic and it worked. But it is the only plastic one I have used it on.

The perfect little tool to have handy in the kitchen. My kids constantly leave bags of all sorts open in our pantry so to have this just on the fridge ready to use is great!
It fits comfortably in my hand and is easy to use too!

First it arrived with the metal strip around it popped off on one side - kept having to push it down but it would not stick. But the real issue is that it's not handy to use to seal - it would be a spotty seal so if I instead went slow it would burn through the bag. Not worth the frustration.

This item is really great. It’s heavy duty and quite frankly the best Chip Bag sealer I’ve ever owned. It obviously can seal more then chips. However open bags of large chips is what I use it for.

This is a great kitchen gadget. I am not a huge fan of kitchen gadgets because most clutter up the kitchen. But this one does a great job and is a definite keeper! It seals perfectly and is easy enough for my 10 year old to master in minutes. With 4 kids and a house full of people we always are running out of chip clips and resorting to rubber bands and such to try to keep food fresh. I am constantly throwing out stale food from the pantry. But no more. This little guy is simple to use and works great. My 14 year old even started cutting ziplocs in two and sealing them so he could make smaller ziplocs. It is going to save us money on food and ziplocs. I read in some other reviews that the magnet didn't work well. But that isn't the case here. The magnet on ours keeps it perfectly in reach so we can always grab it when we need it.

This is a much needed product in my household! I’m used to a dryer climate than the rainy city I live in now so I was upset when I found how quickly the humidity turns my chips stale! Every now and then the clips and the ties I use to preserve crispness fail me, but no longer! This little sealer works so well! I’ve used it repeatedly on the same bag over the course of a couple days and it works great! It’s easy to use, small enough to store on my fridge (with its handy little magnet), and it includes a Swiss-army-like cutter for reopening sealed bags! Needless to say, my chips are still very crisp! I’m very pleased with the overall quality of this product!

Finally! I got this because I have a 1yr and 3yr old (also pregnant with my 3rd). They never finish anything!!! I tried it on several snack bags and larger cereal bags. I turned the bags upside down and was hesitant to shake them but did! Nothing fell out and the seal kept. Added a pic of me holding a bag of cheerios upside down after sealing it. Now I need one for the car!

I finally don’t worry about opening multiple chip bags/snacks at once anymore thanks to this little handy tool! If your having any trouble with it just don’t slide it too fast. Slide it slow so it seals it nice.
Also be sure to use 2 of the same brand new batteries. So glad I finally found this.

Easy to use, I tried it in a handful of different items, I love to bake and purchased this to seal all of my baking supplies and chips. Worked as described, I used it most for the smaller bags, but also worked for a family size chips bag. I also tried to reopen and resealed and worked well too. I am very happy with the results.
