Answer: It was made in china. But it is the best thing I ever bought

How do you use the cutter?

Answer: I think somewhere on the listing it says that the built in razor is only for thick bags. For me it works best when I hold the bag down on the counter then slide the razor across

Can this be used to seal up protective magazine covers?

Answer: I don’t really know about that. I have used it only for sealing food bags and really like it for that

Answer: Hey! If you are referring to the brown kraft paper bags then no. This sealer will only seal plastic and plastic aluminum bags! Hope that helps!

Answer: So far, it has sealed every kind of bag we have tried it on, ie. chip,cereal, cookies, etc.

Can I seal any plastic bag with this or does it have to be a chip bag?

Answer: I have sealed everything in my pantry lol. I’ve even sealed the plastic bubble wrap bag the sealer arrived it. But mostly all types of plastic and plastic aluminum bags. Not just chip bags. I also use it to seal my color street nails

Answer: I used it on a Juanitas chips bag which is plastic and it worked. But it is the only plastic one I have used it on.

First it arrived with the metal strip around it popped off on one side - kept having to push it down but it would not stick. But the real issue is that it's not handy to use to seal - it would be a spotty seal so if I instead went slow it would burn through the bag. Not worth the frustration.

A very useful little tool to have at home! Once you open the package the little sealer is right in front of you, simply put two AA batteries in (sold seperately) and you are ready to go.

The design is very minimal and practical. Nothing bulky and fit in a hand with very easy maneuver.

Very useful for if you have a bag of food or ingredient that cannot be used all at once.

Now the sealer also comes with the magnet at the back to stick onto fridges and a retractable blade to cut open packaged food or ingredient, making this compact gadget even more useful to make your kitchen time easier!

Until you are able to find it in local stores, this sealer is sure a rare find as well a must have at home. It also makes a great gift too!

I think this deserves 4.75 stars. The only thing I was disappointed in was how the cutter wasn’t working well. This feels absolutely great in my hand too. My old one feels clunky and uncomfortable. I replaced the batteries in the old one and this small spaces one is still much faster. Super easy to use and worth my money. Looks neat and classy. Way easier to clean than my old one and has a stronger magnet too. Love it!

This item is really great. It’s heavy duty and quite frankly the best Chip Bag sealer I’ve ever owned. It obviously can seal more then chips. However open bags of large chips is what I use it for.

With 4 kids whom are palatably diverse we always end up with numerous opened bags at any given time. I am not a fan of bag clips, which only close one specific spot and never seem to stay on well, nor do I have luck getting my kids to use rubber bands to wrap around the rolled up product to keep things fresh. I’ve seen other reviews stating trouble with the magnet not being strong enough. I have found that it works better when adhered directly to the front of my stainless steel fridge as opposed to the side.

The product came in small packaging but it is a very neat and powerful product. As you can see in the pictures it has a nice seal and I even put my bag upside down! The only thing that I can think of that I wish it had was an on/off switch, when not using the batteries need to be out to keep the life of the product better!

I bought this with the purpose to reseal my nail strip packs. Keeping this in mind, this heat sealer is pretty good. The sealer heats up pretty quick (5-10 secs just like the packaging says). The heating element is pretty thin and I wish it were a little thicker to leave a thicker seal line. I like that it's handheld, looks nice, and doesn't look cheap. It has a magnet, but it doesn't work all that great (part of why I rated this 4 stars.) The cutter cuts, but not well. Maybe I was trying to use it wrong? I tried cutting open a bag of chips. I don't know, anyhow, didn't really bother me as I just wanted it to seal things.

I've tried it on chip bags, popcorn bags, even frozen veggies bags and given the few seconds it takes to warm up, BAM! Slide the clamp down end to end and it's sealed tight. Go ahead! Turn it upside down!!

EDIT: I was contacted by the seller after having posted the following review. Apparently I had accidentally been sent an older model. The newer model had no issues— the magnet was strong and arrived looking great! I’ve changed my review to 5 stars well deserved!

This is a great product! It heats up quickly as described, and seals effectively. I should have gotten it sooner. I took away one star because the magnet wasn’t very strong on the back (it slid down my fridge) Not a game changer for me though, still would have bought it!

The only thing we had to adjust when utilizing the sealer was to make sure to seal the same direction as the flap lays. Once sealed, it’s even simple to reopen. I hate when a good idea is executed so poorly. The lack of design and lack of engineering is very palpable. It works 1 out of 10 times and is more frustrating than helpful. People should really stop selling cheap, low quality products just to make a buck! Mine went back as fast as I got it. I ordered another one, we'll see if that works.

Can’t find a chip clip no problem! Such a great handy little tool. Simple to use. Works awesome on different thicknesses of bag with no problem. I trim my bag down to half size and then reseal, it keeps my pantry looking much more organized and keeps everything fresh.

For resealing thin plastic, it cuts the thin plastic. For thicker chip bags, it doesn't glide smoothly over the bag. You'll end up running the chip bag over and over to seal it...or I just don't know how to use it.

This is a much needed product in my household! I’m used to a dryer climate than the rainy city I live in now so I was upset when I found how quickly the humidity turns my chips stale! Every now and then the clips and the ties I use to preserve crispness fail me, but no longer! This little sealer works so well! I’ve used it repeatedly on the same bag over the course of a couple days and it works great! It’s easy to use, small enough to store on my fridge (with its handy little magnet), and it includes a Swiss-army-like cutter for reopening sealed bags! Needless to say, my chips are still very crisp! I’m very pleased with the overall quality of this product!
