Answer: I don’t really know about that. I have used it only for sealing food bags and really like it for that

Answer: I have sealed everything in my pantry lol. I’ve even sealed the plastic bubble wrap bag the sealer arrived it. But mostly all types of plastic and plastic aluminum bags. Not just chip bags. I also use it to seal my color street nails

Answer: I used it on a Juanitas chips bag which is plastic and it worked. But it is the only plastic one I have used it on.

It broke right out of the package. I managed it fix it then it broke again after very careful usage. When it did work, it was actually very well at ceiling my products (chip bags, salad bags, thick plastics, etc) but be cautious it is very easy to break.

This little thing works amazing!! My only issue was trying to start at the exact edge to get a full end to end seal but it’s a simple fix to just start in the middle and the from the middle to the end. Nice product.

This little gadget is awesome!! It seals up foil packets like a dream. I love that there’s no on/off switch and that it’s magnetic. It also seals vacuum sealed bags really well! Just make sure you give it a few seconds to warm up (I counted to 8) and slide it across where you need the seal. I was able to salvage a ripped bag of baby puffs (pictured before and after) so they stay fresh without having to waste a ziploc!
I highly recommend this little gizmo.

I bought this with the purpose to reseal my nail strip packs. Keeping this in mind, this heat sealer is pretty good. The sealer heats up pretty quick (5-10 secs just like the packaging says). The heating element is pretty thin and I wish it were a little thicker to leave a thicker seal line. I like that it's handheld, looks nice, and doesn't look cheap. It has a magnet, but it doesn't work all that great (part of why I rated this 4 stars.) The cutter cuts, but not well. Maybe I was trying to use it wrong? I tried cutting open a bag of chips. I don't know, anyhow, didn't really bother me as I just wanted it to seal things.

I’ve used it repeatedly on the same bag over the course of a couple days and it works great! Finally! I got this because I have a 1yr and 3yr old (also pregnant with my 3rd). They never finish anything!!! I tried it on several snack bags and larger cereal bags. With 4 kids whom are palatably diverse we always end up with numerous opened bags at any given time. I am not a fan of bag clips, which only close one specific spot and never seem to stay on well, nor do I have luck getting my kids to use rubber bands to wrap around the rolled up product to keep things fresh. Enter the chip bag mini sealer!! I didn’t even know this was a thing until a friend of mine introduced me to the possibility! I received this product today and immediately tried it out on all neglected bags sitting inside my pantry. I now have all of my previously opened bags sealed once more and chips and cookies will no longer be wasted! I give it ????????????????
I’ve seen other reviews stating trouble with the magnet not being strong enough. I have found that it works better when adhered directly to the front of my stainless steel fridge as opposed to the side.

This is a great kitchen gadget. I am not a huge fan of kitchen gadgets because most clutter up the kitchen. But this one does a great job and is a definite keeper! It seals perfectly and is easy enough for my 10 year old to master in minutes. With 4 kids and a house full of people we always are running out of chip clips and resorting to rubber bands and such to try to keep food fresh. I am constantly throwing out stale food from the pantry. But no more. This little guy is simple to use and works great. My 14 year old even started cutting ziplocs in two and sealing them so he could make smaller ziplocs. It is going to save us money on food and ziplocs. I read in some other reviews that the magnet didn't work well. But that isn't the case here. The magnet on ours keeps it perfectly in reach so we can always grab it when we need it.

The product came in small packaging but it is a very neat and powerful product. As you can see in the pictures it has a nice seal and I even put my bag upside down! The only thing that I can think of that I wish it had was an on/off switch, when not using the batteries need to be out to keep the life of the product better!

As a professional organizer, I recommend this smart tool to save space. Use this over and over until the bag is empty. You don't have to store a bunch of chip clips. The handy magnet on the back allows you to hang on your refrigerator for easy access. You never have to hunt for a bag closure, and it's fun to use!
