How do you get the battery case to stay on? this is the second one I've ordered witb the same problem
Answer: I've had the same problem so I did was take one strip of Scotch tape and attached it about one inch on one side of the handle and wrapped it in a downward direction and continue the tape including the battery case lid and extend the running end of the tape up the other side of the handle. Looks like a design issue. Other than that I like the pump. It sure beats hand pumping. Therefore I haven't made battery case issue a big deal. It's manmade and like man it's not perfect. Maybe with enough feedback will come with an increase overall volume of sales.
Answer: On the hand sealer I received, there is only one certain way the battery door goes on, and it has to do a hard SNAP to stay in place. It is pretty hard to get it to snap, but it will. Hope this helps! :-)
Answer: I don’t know , I just keep putting it back together when it happens , this is just typical of the Sorryquality our venders are accepting from the overseas manufacturers , it works OK when you can keep it together, and some of the bags are questionable also.

Answer: Don't worry it's plenty powerful to do the job. There's a small circle on the bag itself. Provided the bag is zip sealed properly (the manufacturer provides 2 little white slide clamps) you would place the suction cup on the device to the circle on the bag. I've had minor problems getting the suction process to start, but once started, it will suck all the air out and the bag won't float in the sous vide water bath. It works well!

Answer: I am not sure as I have the Handheld Vacuum and they work beautifully. However, they do not work on my bigger sealer that uses electricity as those you make the size you need and then seal with the electricity zipper. I rarely use it anymore as I am alone now and buy smaller quantities. Sorry I couldn't have been more helpful. I did have a Sous Vide Handheld sealer but it quit on me so I bought the Ziploc Handheld Vacuum sealer and it works just fine.

After hearing reviews on an American Home Test kitchen show I was interested in seeing how these hand held units worked. Well, it works very well and the best part it doesn't take up valuable counter space and fits in a drawer. The bags are reusable and I have been placing the item to be sealed in another disposal bag before sealing. It seems to work quite well for a battery operated device.

First time use was difficult. When used a second time moisture had accumulated in the base which is used only to hold the product upright and has no other value such as charging whereupon the moisture seeped into the battery compartment thus shorting out the product and causing corrosion to destroy the flimsy wiring. The battery compartment does not even have a gasket to protect from this. A total failure and wate of money.

I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical. But the price was right, so I placed the order. I have used the machine and bags dozens of times now and can't believe how well it works. The suction power effectively vacuums all air out. It is so easy to use. It's a bit more challenging to get the zip tops sealed than your standard zip top bags, but once I got the trick of pressing the zip against the counter from edge to edge, I've had no problems. I've used them to seal and freeze steaks, ground beef, and frozen veggies. I have also used it for my world-famous spaghetti sauce! I also store pantry items with it. I have re-used the bags many times and have not lost one yet. Due to the thickness, even chicken bones haven't punctured them. I was planning on buying more, but so far I don't need to. Definitely recommend.
