How do you get the battery case to stay on? this is the second one I've ordered witb the same problem
Answer: I've had the same problem so I did was take one strip of Scotch tape and attached it about one inch on one side of the handle and wrapped it in a downward direction and continue the tape including the battery case lid and extend the running end of the tape up the other side of the handle. Looks like a design issue. Other than that I like the pump. It sure beats hand pumping. Therefore I haven't made battery case issue a big deal. It's manmade and like man it's not perfect. Maybe with enough feedback will come with an increase overall volume of sales.
Answer: On the hand sealer I received, there is only one certain way the battery door goes on, and it has to do a hard SNAP to stay in place. It is pretty hard to get it to snap, but it will. Hope this helps! :-)
Answer: I don’t know , I just keep putting it back together when it happens , this is just typical of the Sorryquality our venders are accepting from the overseas manufacturers , it works OK when you can keep it together, and some of the bags are questionable also.

Answer: Don't worry it's plenty powerful to do the job. There's a small circle on the bag itself. Provided the bag is zip sealed properly (the manufacturer provides 2 little white slide clamps) you would place the suction cup on the device to the circle on the bag. I've had minor problems getting the suction process to start, but once started, it will suck all the air out and the bag won't float in the sous vide water bath. It works well!

Answer: I am not sure as I have the Handheld Vacuum and they work beautifully. However, they do not work on my bigger sealer that uses electricity as those you make the size you need and then seal with the electricity zipper. I rarely use it anymore as I am alone now and buy smaller quantities. Sorry I couldn't have been more helpful. I did have a Sous Vide Handheld sealer but it quit on me so I bought the Ziploc Handheld Vacuum sealer and it works just fine.

This is a great idea but the majority of the bags don't hold a seal. Not only am I using the "zipper" tool to run it back and forth to ensure the zipper is locked but I also run my finger over the valve after I vacuum to ensure it's adhered completely. To no avail, I'll go back a day later and there is air in the bag. I purchased another brand and while it's not 100% perfect, more than the majority of the bags remain air free.

This is a great product to preserve food and to cut waste. This came with a wine bottle stopper which used the pump to extract the air. Best value for the price.

I've had this device for about 5 weeks now. I'm going to buy another. It works well and has met my expectations. The bags are reusable and have held up so far. The suction device does a good job of vacuuming the air out of the bag. I use it for sous vide. The vacuum tip/suction cup is removable, a nice feature when liquid from the gets vacuumed into the device (something that should be avoided). It's a kit; they give you these small clips, which I didn't think I'd need, the clips were useful in keeping the bags floating around the sous vide container. I'd recommend it.

First time use was difficult. When used a second time moisture had accumulated in the base which is used only to hold the product upright and has no other value such as charging whereupon the moisture seeped into the battery compartment thus shorting out the product and causing corrosion to destroy the flimsy wiring. The battery compartment does not even have a gasket to protect from this. A total failure and wate of money.

Rose : Sealer bags lost seal as did wine bottle
This sealer drew my attention because it could reseal a wine bottle. Disappointed by its failure to seal the wine bottle, I used the bags and sealer to freeze yeast sweet rolls. The seal did not hold in the freezer, allowing the rolls to dry out. Microwaving the rolls made them almost palatable, but still disappointing. Now we just use the resealable sandwich bags we used prior to this purchase, because they are so much less trouble.

At first I loved this but after using it consistently for a month it's broken. The back fell off so I had to tape it on. Now there's no suction. I would recommend getting an electric one not battery operated. I'm very disappointed.
