can the bags be cut and then have two bags for smaller amounts

Answer: These bags were designed for the Vesta Precision Vertical Vac Elite. They are smooth sided and gusseted on the sides and bottom for use in chamber vacuum sealers only. These bags do not work in suction style vacuum sealers. Cutting the bag would create a non-gusseted side or bottom and the resulting bags may not have enough headspace to allow the seal bar to catch and seal the bag successfully.

A Book A Day : Did not work

These bags did not work. They would seal but not vacuum. A waste of money.

STIRKK : Do not buy these bags

These did not work for me at all. I think it is due to the texture of the material, as they are too smooth, they easily wrinkle and do not allow the vacuum to suck all of the air out. I tried several times with 3 different bags, different cut sizes, and different modes with my vacuum sealer, it never worked. I flattened the bag as best I could to prevent wrinkles, and it still did not provide adequate suction.
I tried one of the other bags I had with ridges on it and it instantly worked perfectly.
I do not recommend these.
