Answer: Is it making the vacuum sound? Sound alike air sucking. There is a brownish seating strip on edge but the vacuum area is farther in where those two pegs sticking up are. You have to seal one edge of the bag first, put food in, the. Put the open edge all the way up against those pegs (but not over them). If you don’t hear a pump noise then you may have a faulty unit.

Answer: Its probably your bag placement. Make sure the bag is over the opening and centered properly and straight - no. wrinkles. This machine works for me. BUT it sucks the air out slowly.

The first one stopped sucking out air, within a very short time. Returned and replaced. This one did the same, only lasted a bit longer, but didn't make it 6 mos!!! Poor quality, obviously!!!

So the first harvest in my garden has come in...and it's a bit too bountiful for the family to wat before it goes bad. Lol. Enter my go-to Amazon shopping and we've been running this baby on and off for 3 weeks now. I haven't noticed any decrease in efficiency or suction power after hours and hours of usage.

It's really easy to clean down too. I appreciate the fact it is compact in design, but still able to customize the size of the food packet I'm making. And the lock feature is fabulous for homes with small children! Little fingers can't get anywhere near the internal parts while you're using it. And I like the dry/wet settings. I didn't realize that was a necessary thing until I started doing more research into this.

First off, I love the look and size of the Allkeys Vacuum Food Sealer. It has a lot of power, and is very easy to use. It did come with the vacuum bags, which is a big plus. It has a dry/moist button. It did come with a Vacuum nozzle that you can use when vacuuming a canister or bottle.

You can refrigerate meats for 8 to 9 days, or you can freeze meats for up to a year. It is also great for vegetables, fruits, peanuts, rice, bread and so much more!

There is no assembly required, it shows up ready to go from the box. It is also very easy to clean!

Overall, I am very pleased with the Allkeys vacuum food sealer! It’s a great value, and I’m happy with the price point!

Worked exactly as promised. Comes with plenty of supplies to get you started. We buy a lot of meat. When vacuum sealed meat can last up to a year in the freezer. This machine made the process quick and easy. The only criticism I have is that the internals are all black. Which sometimes made it difficult to see exactly where to place the bag. But proper lighting easily negates that issue. Very satisfied would definately buy again.

Sometimes cost = value. In this case, the price point is perfect. Overall pretty inexpensive as far as vacuum sealers go. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this sealer performs. After vacuum sealing 22 quart sized bags, it never overheated, was stuck waiting for it to get back to temperature and never had a bad bag. The instructions/buttons are straight forward, so that there is no questioning how the sealer is supposed to work (I still recommend using the product manual for first time users). Overall, I am quite pleased with this little gadget. I would definitely recommend.

I have used vacuum sealers for a long time and had an old Rival brand one from 10 yrs ago which has a crack on the side and I now I have to manually hit the seal button. I bought this new one knowing eventually my Rival would stop all together. I know you have an allotted time to return so I used this one immediately. After about 10 seals it stopped sucking air out properly and sometimes in the middle of the vacuum process the seal button started to come on by itself before the vacuum process was even close to being finished which by the way took an extremely long time even at the beginning. I followed all the instructions, even the troubleshooting instructions to no avail. There were a few people who complained about this same thing happening while others were saying it was great. Took a chance and now returning, will be searching for a complete different brand and make. Had to seal the rest of the meat I had with my cracked partially broken old Rival one still got the job done in half the time the brand new did. Too bad they don't have that Rival model anymore I would repurchase. Old stuff has always worked better!
