Will these co-witness with a Holosun 507c ???

Answer: Mine cowitness just fine, I want to be able to align the sights in a emergency case that the Red dot fails but at the same time is not obtrusive when regularly using the Dot. I think this sight works great for that. Just to mention my Holosun 507c is direct milled to the slide of my G19 that makes it sit just a little lower than a MOS that uses plates. But I like this product and work as expected

I am completely happy with the set I received. I mounted them on a gen5 G17 MOS FS and they are a great backup for my Trijicon rmr.

Answer: They both have their advantages. The white is easier to pick up in low light, but the orange jumps out in well lit situations

Answer: Without the RMR or the need for higher sights, your point of aim and impact would be off. I would not recommend the suppressor height sites if you don't have the need.

Answer: If you do not have an RMR (or another optic) and if you do not plan on going with one, I would get another set of AmeriGlo sights. For example, take a look at the Glock Hackathorn sets. The Tritium I-Dot sets are really great too.

Answer: My set up is these sights with a holosun 507c on a glock 20 and they co witness fine.

Answer: Yes, but do to the fact that the MOS cut isn't as deep as other options like a dedicated milled cut or the Agency Arms AOS cut (and depending on what the thickness is of whatever adapter plate you're using) you're not getting very much co-witness. They are still usable however.

Answer: Depends on your slide, they're a bit short for an MOS slide but do for a milled slide on a glock.

Answer: They are "just" tall enough. I'd guess about an 80-90% co-witness. Keep in mind, these are now acting as "back-up" sights for your RMR.

Answer: They will cowitness with Rmr’s depending on your mount. Frame mount yes / MOS mount yes. Some random cheap mount.... who knows.

Answer: That depends on your pistol. On my Glock 40 MOS, no they were still too low to even lower 1/3. If it was milled specifically for the rds, then it would be ok, but the adapter plate raises the rds up too far to cowitness. I cannot speak for standard frame Glocks.

Answer: Yes, I have them on my gen 5 19 and my 19x. They fit perfectly.

Answer: If they take Glock sights it should work out just fine. Great sights too.

How well do these work considering that only the front sight has tridium?

Answer: They work great. If your running it with a micro red dot, like I am, then you don’t want to confuse yourself with a bunch of glowing dots. In life or death sir if your red dot goes down and all you have is front dot, gtg.. place the front dot on your target and your eyes naturally alight the rear or center the front in the micro dot window.

Answer: Very well. I prefer this type of sight because in daylight, you can focus on the front sight better and acquire targets quicker. This type of sight is popular in USPSA and IDPA.

Will these co witness with the Burris fastfire 3 on a glock 19?

Answer: They co witness well with my vortex viper on a glock 22 but it isn't an mos. It's custom cut

Will these clear my holosun 507c?

Answer: I have this installed on a Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS and it BARELY cowitnesses with my Holosun 507C, but it does at about the bottom 1/4. I would prefer a better cowitness, but you get what you get with this setup.

Will these co witness on a glock 17 mos with a vortex viper?

Answer: They should. Mine are mounted on a mulled slide, which allows the optic to sit lower on the slide for basically a lower 1/3 co-witness. The MOS plate will make the optic sit higher but the sight should be visible. Perhaps a goodly image search?

Answer: I’m using a trijicon rmr, sorry don’t know if they’ll work with your optic.

I just installed these AmeriGlo sights on my G19 with a Vortex Viper optic and they co-witness perfectly. I prefer to run a blacked out rear sight on my guns, so theses sights were perfect...and the price point was a lot less than most other brands. I uploaded a bunch of different views of these sights so you can get a good idea on how they look on a G19, overall very happy and highly recommend!

*** One thing to note***
If you are plnning on running a Vortex optic, the Vortex Venom rear base is taller than the Vortex Viper red dot...so if you want to co-witness you need to run the Viper red dot. Most gun armors that do optic cuts will tell you this, so hopefully this helps.

The truly are great sights, but the rear sight is still too short to even clear the top of a Vortex Venom Red Dot mounted on a G40 (10mm) MOS. Will keep them for my G19 and find something taller for the G40

These sights are perfect for an RMR setup as they sit taller and will accommodate that height offset. I have yet to install my RMR as I am in the process of this build. These sights installed seamlessly using a sight tool that I got from eBay for 40 bucks. No modifications needed for a G19 slide. All I did was added some oil for the rear sight and blue loctite for the fronts. Loving these sights so far as the orange glows really bright and I liked the fact that the rear has no markings to accommodate the RMR laser sight that I will be getting. This will take away the distractions when aiming down sight quickly, especially when holster drawing.

I recommend using a sight tools for both the front and rear so that you do not risk damaging them or take your slide to a gunsmith for professional installation.

Great for BUIS on an RMR. The plain black rears make the front sights really pop for faster target acquisition when only using sights and doesn’t make the RMR sight seem too busy when red dot is on.

Allowed me to co-witness with the red dot mounted on the Glock 19 MOS, which has a fairly thick adapter plate. Also, the front sight is not too tall to fit into holsters such as bravo concealment.

Update: switched vortex for trijicon rmr, worked great on the range for static shooting. I’ve shot these sights through 2 courses and the rear sight has been knocked to the side multiple times. The first course I thought it was a fluke, but the second course they were far left multiple times.Unfortunately at this time I can not recommend these for a duty weapon. They will be put on one of my suppressed pistols and used for plinking only. Very disappointed.

BRIANK : Co-witnesses with Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS and Viper ** Updated - see below**

Installed on a Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS with a Vortex Viper. The sights do co-witness with the Viper, but just barely. See attached photos. Rear site was really tight, so it was a bit of a chore to get installed. Quality seems very good at a price point that is much cheaper than the higher-end sights. The main problem with this set up is that the rear sight blocks the locking screws on the Viper. I already zeroed the Viper before installing the AmeriGlo sights. Hopefully I won’t have to re-zero, as it won’t be possible with these taller sights.

** Updated **
Switched out the Vortex Viper with the Holosun 507C. The sights do not co-witness as well with the Holosun, but just barely do. Main reason for swapping the red dot was the Holosun allows zeroing while installed on the pistol, whereas the Viper’s locking screws are impeded by the rear sights.

Rear sight is far too thin, slides in and out of the rear sight groove without touching it. No amount of locktight could help secure the rear sight. Front sight was great, no complaints.

I bought these sights for my Glock 19 Gen MOS. These were to co-witness my Vortex Venom and after installation from my Gun Smith they are too short. The back sights are too low and sit behind the red dot. The front sight is visible and very bright but zero holds right above the sight. I marked it down given that there's a hand full of red dots like Vortex, Leupold, RMR, Burris etc. and it should indicate which of these it should 100% co-witness.

I do like them sights as they have great bright orange visibility in the AZ sun and I night sight works as intended. If you have an RMR these will work perfect but if you have a Vortex or Burris FastFire 3 find another suppressor height sight.
