i've make this repair in the past. only problem i incurred was the teflon tape has no adhesive on it. how do you make it stick ???

Got this since the oem one ripped up and it’s better than the original. The film is a bit slippery but none of the plastic sticks anymore, which helps when doing tons of sealing.

This product is so cheap it makes my fingers curl! The wire snapped and broke apart on first use. More ever…. They charge $5.99 shipping for this BS! Yup, $5.99 to ship this. Do you know how much it cost them to make this?

Michael F. : Teflon strip so thin you can see through it!

The element fit fine, but the teflon strip is about half the material thickness as the one I replaced. It's going to burn through in a week or two. And because it is so flimsy, it was very difficult to install due to lack of rigidity. It would slip right out of the metal clamp just when I thought I had it. After it is installed, the strip is so sheer that you can actually see the element clearly right through it. Note to manufacturer: I'd rather pay more for better quality because replacing these frequently costs time and hassle and it's not worth saving a buck or two..
