Is this net tough enough to lift large catches onto a pier?

Answer: No

What color is it

Answer: Blackish

Does this include the ropes?

Answer: It has the three strings (thin) pictured, leading to a single connection point at the top. From there you attach your own rope to drop and retrieve the net.

How fine is the net? Would this work for fish fry?

Answer: I just use mine to catch bait minnows. It works for this.

Would this work for landing fish too large to pull up on a line from a pier?

Answer: Depends on how big the fish. The net is not heavy duty and could bend the frame or tear the netting material. I'd say under 10lbs would be safe. Havent tried it on anything heavy. Look into a pier gaff.

folding is complicated and frustrated the hell out of us and ripped on the first try on the seam why no direction on folding?

Does it have a bait pouch. How do you catch minnows with it, wait till you see them swimming inside then quickly pull it up?

We use this as a "ball-holder" in our yard for all the stray balls - we had them in a bucket but it held water and they would get all gross. So I bought this instead and hung it on a plant holder - perfect to hold balls without the water!

Works great for catching small bait fish at night. Would work for crawdads. And probably Crab as well, but wouldnt expect it to last. I love these cuz I can store them on the boat and always have them for spare of the moment, nothing better to do fun for the kids
