Rite Angler Premium Quality Saltwater Cast Nets available in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" mesh and 8ft., 10ft., and 12ft. Radiuses. They weigh 13 to 20 pounds.

Rite Angler Casting Nets are constructed with 1.5pounds of Lead per Foot. They sink quickly, open fully, and lay flat when thrown. The secure seal on the bottom traps and prevents fish from escaping. The size of your bait, depth of the water, and how much bait you want to catch directly relates to which net you’ll need. Large 8-12′ nets allow you to catch more bait, but also require more experience to throw than smaller nets.

Our cast nets are circular with small weights distributed around the edges, this simple device is particularly effective for catching small fish which are then used for bait.

The fishing net is thrown by hand so that it spreads out while it’s in the air before it sinks into the water. The handline is held as the net is thrown.

When the net is full, a retrieval clamp closes the net around the fish. The net is then retrieved by pulling on the handline. Cast nets work best in water that is no deeper than their radius.

Casting is best done in waters free of obstructions. Reeds can cause tangles and branches can rip nets. When throwing the net out into the water, use both hands, in a circular motion. The net can be cast from a boat, from the shore, or by wading. Our nets will lay flat when thrown.

EASIER TO THROW WITH BETTER ACCURACY The 30 foot braided, polyethylene hand line makes the net easier to throw with more accuracy. When throwing the net out into the water, use both hands, in a circular motion. The net can be cast from a boat, from the shore, or by wading.	BRAILLE LINES FOR SECURE CLOSING The heavy lead creates a secure bottom seal which traps and prevents fish from escaping. We have added more braille lines to provide secure closing when retrieving the net. Our cast nets are packaged in a 3-gallon bucket.
