Answer: Mine didn’t. Not sure if there’s an option to order it that way. Great reel though. You’ll love it. Takes 5 minutes to do it yourself or take it to any fly fishing shop or Bass Pro. They’ll do it for free if you buy the fly line there
Answer: This isn't that kind of outfit. People serious about fly fishing expect you to be able to spool up a reel on your own. And for you to understand that there are a friggin' pile of different types of line. Float, sink, neutral, weight forward, tapered, etc... I don't mean to be snarky but if you're looking for something preloaded for you, go to one of the dozens of Chinese reel manufacturers. just remember that you get what you pay for on Amazon.

Answer: I would say No if you reverse the spool say right to left you can reel but you would be doing so with out the benefit of the drag system.

how do i purchase an extra spool. i click on the spool button but nothing happens.
Answer: Don't feel bad. I ordered the reel for $74.00. A couple of weeks later, a parcel comes in from Bozman Flyworks, but there was no reel...but instead, a small packet of leaders. I had already paid for the reel,plus shipping. The only was that you can contact them (if they really exist} is by e-mail through Amazon.I did so, but after 2 weeks...no response, Amazon was also unresponsive, as you can rarely talk to a Human anymore. Good luck with your endeaver, as I just gave up and let them keep the money. ps L also clicked rhe link for the extra reel...but to no avail.

Answer: This means that you use your left hand to reel the line back in. One may easily switch to a right hand retrieve If that is your preference. Most right handed people want a left hand retrieve and vice versa.

I haven't fished it yet, but am quite pleased with the purchase. The drag had nice smooth engagement, ts fully machined AND is sealed from the elements! The rod have has red accents so it all matches. For 130 its perfect for my uses and budget. You can't go wrong with Bozeman Flyworks. They also have great deals on lines where they include a sealed fly box with the line for 35 bucks!!!
