Questions about BASSDASH SwimPanfish Multi Jointed Panfish Bluegill Swimbaits Hard Topwater Bass Lures Fishing Lure Crank Saltwater 3.5in/0.85oz
Q:
does it come with a box?
Answer: Each bait is packed in a hard PVC blister and then the 4 pack is in a bubble envelope.
Answer: No
Q:
WilI the joints tear apart easily?
Answer: Probably not, the Bait sections are jointed by thick cloth.
Q:
How do I use an Amazon gift card
Answer: Sure
Q:
Can i cast with a bait caster or is it to light
Answer: Yes, this bait can be casted with a bait caster and the bait is 0.85oz and it won't be too light for most bait casters.
Answer: No, these baits are fairly heavy, i use them on a medium 6'6" casting rod
Answer: Yes, I've had good lucky with it, it's heavier than you think. Its almost the perfect weight to cast.
Q:
Are colors as described? They look pretty good in the photos.
Answer: I just bought Bluegill color and it is exactly as described.
Answer: Yes, the colors are as in the photos.
Answer: It is as shown in photo!!!
Answer: Yes they look great
Answer: Yes, colors are exactly as pictured.
Q:
how many in a pack
Answer: ONE but if you order from Sunrise Angler you get 2 slightly different color and are 4" long for $15.00. I bought 4 total from 3 different sellers. To be very honest - haven't caught a fish yet. Been fishing in private farm pond that I know holds 2 - 8 lb+ and several 2-4 - NOTHING YET.
Answer: 1
Q:
Does this have lead in it? And if it does can someone point me to one that doesn’t
Q:
Will the back hook tangle when fishing?
Answer: I fished with it twice and the hook doesn't tangle. You can fish it in the way you fish a crankbait and reel slowly and the lure will swim well and even have realistic action.
Answer: Havn't had any problem like the action of it
Q:
Is it good for catching average bass?
Answer: I think so. I always use 3 - 6 inch swimbait and they are easily castable on normal bass tackle and they draw strikes from both numbers as well as big fish. By the way 8 to 10 inch swimbaits are usually for trophy bass.
Q:
Does anybody get strikes with this bait?
Answer: I landed 3 bass in my first 5 casts.,ranging 2.2 to 6.1 lbs out of the San Marcos river. I cast it and let it sit a bit. I twitched the rod a few times, then began an up and Don retrieval on all 3 bass, they struck on the lures upward retrieval.
Answer: I've caught a few with it in the private lake near my house where small and large mouth bass are not too many. It has a nice change in action as compared to some of my soft plastic swimbait.
Q:
The color is excellent,Does it act like a fish and does it work well?
Answer: Yes it does
Q:
I took mine out last weekend and could not get it to swim like they show. it just went in a line. what am i doing wrong?
Answer: I'm sorry for the inconvenience that you've met. I suggest you to try loop knot on the swimbait, or remove the O ring in front of the swimbait, and try again and the swimbait action will be good. I bet you will like it. Some anglers do not get used to the front O ring. ^^

Answer: try twitching the bait off the start. once it starts swimming it will have a great presentation.
Answer: First make sure there are is nothing wrong with your bait and make sure you’re jerking it when you use it
Answer: Nothing. The bait sucks you have to reel as fast as you can to make any action.
Q:
Can you catch snakeheads with these?
Answer: I don't see why not
Q:
how much weight does it have is it easy to cast.
Answer: The lure weight is 27/32 oz (24 grams) . Yes, they are easy to cast while it is possible to cast these lures with a swimbait rod but they are better suited for a traditional casting or spinning rod with a decent, but not too heavy, action.
Q:
I have 10lb. Line on my reel will this be strong enough fishing with this lure for bass?
Answer: I think you would be ok but i would find some heavier line i would use around a 15-30lb line
Q:
Does it act like a fish?
Answer: Absolutely, the joints move perfectly and look like another fish swimming.
Q:
Does it suspend?
Answer: Mine floats and when retrived it seem to go 2-3 feet deep is all. Not impressed with lure and I bought all 4 types. !!
Answer: Not that I'm aware of, you just need to find that right speed to have th full affect work. The right speed is key to making it look like a real fish.
Answer: The one I have does not , it sinks pretty fast , i have to have a steady crank to keep it off the bottom
Answer: If u mean by wiggles back and forth like how a fish swims yes it’s does
Answer: They sink.
Q:
What's the quoted price for 50 Bluegill ?
Answer: Only1
Q:
What’s the diving depth for these lures or will they sink after the cast? Float like a crank bait or sink ?
Answer: Hi, the diving depth is approx. 1ft~3ft, and yes, the bait will sink slowly.
Answer: It sinks like a rock and has no action unless you reel it as fast as you can .... junk don't waste your money.
Q:
Will these sink?
Answer: Yes, these swimbaits will sink slowly.
Answer: Yes, they are a swim bait. That's what they do and they do it well
Q:
is this lead free?
Product reviews of BASSDASH SwimPanfish Multi Jointed Panfish Bluegill Swimbaits Hard Topwater Bass Lures Fishing Lure Crank Saltwater 3.5in/0.85oz
David Villafane : Throw the big lure for the big fish
So I got this thing yesterday and I went straight to the lake, after an hour or so of not getting any bites with a jig I switched to this this and after a few casts, boom. I did notice that the hooks do get stuck between the segments once in a while and you can feel it doesn’t swim correctly. Right out out of the box I noticed the mesh might be already peeling so we’ll see how long it holds. Pretty satisfying with the results on the first day thought. Definitely worth the 10 bucks, the colors and definition and pretty good.
Tod : Catches Fish. Good Quality and Value.
Good Quality Lures.
Swims as described.
Catches Fish.
YAOLIYANG : great details
the detail of this product is so rich. fish looks like it. it looks like a fish. also, it is covered by beautiful color. though i am still trying to get fish. but i believe, one day, fish will come.
Preston Toombs : Great customer service.
I am very pleased with this companies customer service. I was sent the wrong item and upon contact with their customer service they promptly sent me the correct item. I am very pleased with this company and will definitely be purchasing from them again! the quality of the lure is pretty good, the skin on them is digitally printed and could be a bit better quality but for the price, it is very acceptable. the construction of the lures seem to be great quality though, I do expect them to hold up for quite some time. Happy customer!!
D. Mullin : Great for Bass
These work great for catching Largemouth. Look very realistic in the water. Would recommend replacing the rear treble hook with a size larger. (Missed a few until I went up a size)
Mike A2Z : Hooked a 30" Northern Pike
This was a gift to my 11 year old grandson. While fishing, he hooked a 30 inch northern pike. Unfortunately the fish tore the line. So, now I need to order hem another plug.

jessica haller : Fun !
Very fun product . Fun to fish with ! Great colors ! Great durability !
Shelley Buettner : A decently priced bluegill bait but durable and get the job done!
These are awesome swimbaits. They all get bit you just need to put your time in. Have been my #1 go to swim bait, they have proven to me to be the best lure on the water from Florida to California. When birds are hitting the water throw it out in the middle and start reeling like hell. It will get eaten. You would probably be interested in trying and they are one of the best.

Slippy Fist : VERY HEAVY SWIMBAIT!! Update june 2021
Decent quality but their so damn heavy it's like an atom bomb explosion when it hits the water... I really wish I would have bought only 1 to try out instead of all four... you live and you learn.
Update, tested out again and honestly idk if it was defective or what but trying to swim these slow the segments wont even move. It literally just glided thru the water without moving at all. I made the mistake of buying 4 of them before testing out 1 first. Also I broke the tail off this one pretty easy. So not very durable and I'd say not very quality material. If your looking for a budget swimbait I would definitely look elsewhere or spend a little more and get a well known name brand swimbait. Would not reccomend.
Robert Kerr : Good action
Don't know how well it will work. Got it late when shallow running baits don't work

Tracey Murphy : nice lure
It's very colorful, and little bigger than expected, but I think it will do the trick.
NB : Sweet Swimmer
This recovering spawner gobbled down this bait like a fat man at a free BBQ. Looks real good on the swim with a regular tie and even better with a loop knot. I lost it on a submerged stump (my fault.) Ordered two more that night and another two for my son. This is a fun bait to pull and really chases the bait fish back to the boat. Gave it a 4 on durability since I've only fished them one day. I'll update if that changes.
bierhausser : wonderful lures, caught Bass, Northern Pikes and crappies.
Loved them.
Leila Z : This hardbait kills it!!!!!!
This hard bait killed it . Ther this lake that is so over Pressured around my house. But this bait kills it every time 2nd casts in Caught a hog 5 pound 3 oz large mouth . Spinner/ Texas rig/popper/wake bait . Nothing work at this lake . This crushed it 7 bass in 1 hour
Adam A : I'm pleased. Best lunch break session yet!
At first I thought it was junk when I tried it and in a tank, but once it was on my pole... Wow! 90% of the time it's got some amazing action. Even with a cold front I landed 3 on my lunch break. 3,2.75, and 1 lb. Just on a slowish steady retrieve. It sinks pretty quick, but lives in the 2ft range when cranking. Put on the heavy braid and work it by the pads, or just out in the open water. Sharp hooks!!
Update 9/2021: stupid sharp hooks are cheap and have cost me 3 fish when trying to lift them out
Joseph T. : AMAZING natural action!!
Just got to try these for the first time today. They look AMAZING coming back to the boat! Can’t wait to get to the bigger lake with bigger fish! Seem quality built ????????
Jonathan Dorton : Still learning it.
So far I have not caught anything with it. As of yet.
Cenla Cindy : Looks real!
I was so shocked how realistic this lure was. Then when I threw it on the lake and watched it swim bAck to me, I was hooked. The 3rd cast of the day I caught a juvenile bass. Next I'm ordering the multi-pack!
Shelley Buettner : A decently priced bluegill bait but durable and get the job done!

R. Perez : Irresistible to bass
A great value, durable, and irresistible to fish. If you want to catch some good size bass. I suggest you grab up a few with different colors and see for yourself.
Reconron : Quality craftsmanship great value
I don’t like wasting my money this particular product gets five stars due to the quality Craftsmanship these particular lures are a steal for the value ,and yes you do get quality fish right away unless you’re fishing in the empty lake or river ????????????????
spencer longshore : .I caught a huge bass 7 lbs on the first cast...crazy!!
This looks exactly like a bluegill swimming along..I caught a huge bass 7 lbs on the first cast...crazy!!
Michele Barnas : Great value and addition!
Great swim action! Nice option at a great price!
Tim : They work and look amazing
Has to be one of my favorite baits to throw. Bass, catfish and just about anything else will strike it. Hooks are great, but will end up upgrading those. However for the money and they are well worth the price. Amazing life like looks and movement. I'd recommend this to any fisherman like myself that likes throwing swimbaits. My only thing and its minor is the hooks. A little thicker gauge hook and its perfect.
Samuel : Probably catches fish but I let it down
This lure looks good and had a great action and I wish I could tell you it catches fish but unfortunately on my third cast I yeeted it straight off the line. I will definitely buy it again after I learn to tie my knots better.
charles s. : Not shiny at all
Its not shiny at all. No reflective/refractiveness at all. Just a cheap image printed onto a piece of plastic. Who knows maybe it will catch fish but I’m not impressed. It looks much better in the add than it does in real life.
Braden and Nikki : Very nice product
My kids love these! They have caught bunch of fish so far!
Choff : Pretty good.
Well constructed. But not as much swim action as the shad shaped swimmers. So you need to work them a little different.
Amazon Customer : Where to cast ,
Catching Florida bass in south Mississippi in a private pond . Bluegill/bream Have proven to dictate whether a pond or lake will produce quality bass ( amongst a few other factors ). I recommend trying the bait in water that is clear enough so you can see the bait/lure as your reeling it in so you can get the hang of how fast to real , if u need to give a jerk or several jerks, or possibly mimicking a wounded fish by letting the bait start to sink and then one or two pulls with the pole to bring the bait back up Allowing the bait to breach the surface making a little sound and vibration. If you are an avid fisherman it only takes a couple hours at the most to get the hang of those different methods of retrieving and if your just starting out then all you have to do is real the lure back at a speed where the tail is moving in a natural live looking way . Well that’s all the time we have for today’s bassdass review I want to thank all my fans out there I couldn’t of done this without y’all.
John Hancock : Waiting to use
Due to the Covid 19 going on, have not been able to try it out as of yet. Looks great.
Michael J. Ruffino : still havent caught anything
Have used this lure about 8 times and still nothing. It looks awesome, swims really well but no fish yet, I bass fish.
John Ward : Great lure
Great action..great swimbait I recommend..
tgif : Tiny bait
Very small but good color
David Millan : Works!
Already caught two bass with it. 12” and a 20” bass! Well worth it. Will buy more
Big Jr : Nice lure
A little heavy but nice lure
Mark : Good looking bait
This thing casts great, and looks plenty fishy swimming through the water. Should be a hot ticket item for those places where panfish make up the forage base for larger fish!
Blane Hensel : Very lifelike "matches the hatch"
I like the lifelike feel and its very detailed
Kris : Worth the money.
Bought for my husband he loved it.
