Answer: Fire tiger refers to the pattern on the lure. The clicker I am assuming because the lure does make noise, however there are no bb’s inside.
Answer: The clicker jitterbugs are suppose to have a clicking noise. I don't notice a difference from the regular jointed jitterbug It doesn't rattle. The metal fin makes the bait move left and right or jitters as you retrieve it. This is a great top water bait for bass and pike.

Answer: Jitterbug is a floating lure, it only grab weeds on the surface. Using it at night you know right away if it grabs a weed the plop plop just stops.
Answer: It is NOT weedless. The ones that I received were the huge Musky size- bristling with three exposed treble hooks!

Answer: It is about 3 inches but does not have a clicker
Answer: Yes this is the smaller version of the jitterbug. It does not have a clicker. The cup on the front creates a "pop".

Used the lure only once. Loved the ability to retrieve slowly and still have great action. Unfortunately, our cat is overly curious. While being his adventurous self, he somehow hooked in his left foot and inner right thigh. Yes, this was a horrible incident which required a trip to the emergency vet to have him sedated and get the hooks removed. He is again feisty and fine.
I felt the story was worth sharing as he fought like hell and the hooks stayed (yes, again it was awful). Inadvertently, however, this was a unique and extreme test as to the durability of this lure.
All told, kitty is just fine and I was slightly disappointed I didn’t get my lure back from the vet.

Lunkers beware... I always have a couple of these in my tackle box for those early summer evenings as the sunlight is fading, the bugs are coming out, and the bass are jumping for top-water. I've always loved the action and had great success with the jitterbug, and in the past few years have really come to love these jointed ones the most. You might be a little hesitant thinking that it's too large a lure for your little bass pond, but trust me... The action on these things drives the bass nuts, even smaller fish. It's worth it to me to have the extra weight of a larger lure so I can cast it really far. My only advice -- carry a couple spares. Nothing will make you cry like losing one of these in a tree, except maybe losing your ONLY jitterbug in a tree. ;-)

Jitterbugs are my favorite lure, not my most successful, but the most enjoyable. If your not into the whole bait and wait game then this guy is for you. You wont catch as much, but when you do its an adrenaline rush to see that surface strike!
The only issues you'll run into is that you can't (or shouldn't) add weight to the line to get more distance since that will mess with the action of the lure, so you're limited in how far you can cast this guy.
Another issue I repeatedly have is when I do go for distance the hooks along the body tend to get caught up in the line. It happens perhaps once every 8 casts or so and can be a buzzkill.

jointed jitterbug lures i use at night for bass. as bass anglers know-when the water conditions are right its a great lure. only downfall to this lure is these two hooks get caught up on eachother all the time. i always change out one or both hooks to a lil smaller size. in the dark its frustrateing untangleing hooks!

These lures can take a pretty serious beating from being bounced off rocks, skipped over a dock, and slammed by a large mouth. I love jitterbugs and the action they produce on the water and the reaction produced by the predators I seek. Buy the lure.
Ron J. : Great Lure Has a Flaw On 4 1/2" Model
On the 4 1/2" Model the large hook in the rear gets stuck and won't move unless you reshape the hook holder or replace the hook with a smaller one and if you remove screws it strips very easy ! Otherwise it would be great !
