Got this to check it out and while the hooks are perfect for shad shiners and sun fish the largest sizes can be used for bass as well but good hook sets may be a challenge depending ur u go barbless for easy C&R Baits are good for weedy areas if unwanted try out an area and Not loose a 10 dollar whopper plopped or rattler I think for the money it's not a bad offering as the very small hooks can be hard to find in most box stores And lures are not terrible

I had nothing and wanted a starter kit of a sort. This is good, but once you figure out what type of fish you are targeting and it's not Bass, you will just have some decorations for your tackle box. But if it's Bass, then I think you will be well equipped. I've used some of the hooks and weights but Lures are for different waters I fish... But when you find a body of water that can be fished then tie on a snap and get to experimenting with the cranks and spinners.
