Answer: The best I can tell is it’s a 110. The ones at river2sea are 4.3” long and these are 4.05.

Unfortunately, the whole lure spins when reeling it in instead of just the tail like it should, so it twists up the line and after about 30 casts, the line starts nesting up. I tried to use a swivel but that didn’t help. In spite of that it does seem to attract fish, I just need to re-sting my baitcaster because it is all twisted and knotted up. The hooks are not very good, about half of the fish I caught fell off as I was landing them, but the hooks can be replaced, just need to figure out why the whole lure spins and how to stop it. Gave it a 3 star because even with the crazy flaws in these lure, they attract and catch fish.

Good for the cost, but replace the hooks. I bought this set to check out the whopper popper hype prior to spending the money on the real ones.

These have a decent action that is pretty close to the real thing and they do get bit. They weigh a little less and we’re better suited for my spinning rods than a bait caster.

What costs them two stars is that the hooks are flat out bad. I’ll admit I expected them to be at this price point, but I still can’t give extra stars for them due to this. I had one hook bend on a fish and have had a few fish come off while reeling them in. This doesn’t happen with better hooks.
Once I changed the hooks, I have no complaints.

I bought these for my son, who loves using whopper poppers for top water bass fishing. A typical whopper plopper is about $12 per lure and these are much cheaper yet still quality made top water lures. These make the same action that the name brand whopper plopper lures do but cost fractions less. If you lose one on a fish or in a tree it doesn't hurt as bad. Buy with confidence and go catch fish.

the action on these is incredible. I used one for 20 minutes in the heat of the day (not generally the time of day you'd use topwater lures) and caught a 20 in largemouth and a dink largemouth. Also had 2 other strikes where I missed the fish. you will not regret buying these - the quality seems really good and they cast well also.

I was skeptical of these lures, but after a weeklong trip using them I can confidently say that they really work and attract bass, in particular, to attack them. The double hooks often got stuck on the fish in gills so I removed the front hook. Also less likely to jab myself.

The first place I tried this I didn’t have any luck but no fish were biting anyway. I took it to my pond later and the bass destroyed it. I usually use a wacky rig with plastic worms for bass but I wanted to try this and see how it would work. I only caught bass 2lbs or more. It’s very helpful for targeting larger bass but if the bass in your area are smaller they may not strike it. Love the product and the price is great.
