Answer: I would say it is not your traditional walk the dog as they don't move forward much but the main reason I love them is because if you're working it along and get a miss you can slow down and with small twitches get it to walk the dog in a small area. It isn't like a spook or glide bait where it covers a lot of area side to side though, more of a stationary back and forth.

Answer: You sure can especially with the smaller frogs. I've been using a bobberabout 4 feet from the frog nut with a flyrod there's no need for the bobber!

Holy crap these boys work, they are amazing in the weeds. I always pull them with a leader on so sometimes that'll catch a weed but most of the time this sucker is completely weedless, and on an overcast, calm day the bass go nuts for em. I'll have crappie try to take a nibble at the small ones but really these guys are made for bass and catch the bass. Couple of tips, be patient, let the frog sit right after it lands then do a couple of tugs and wait another 5 seconds. Second, let the bass take it for a sec, they have to decompress before the hooks come out, I have lost a lot of bass getting too excited!

Great variety for the money. One note, trim the rubber band skirt legs, bass tend to ignore it when they are that long

These lures are great for the price you pay. The skirts ar kinda small, but I always cut the skirts down anyway so it just saved me a step. Plenty of top colors but the bottoms are all a grey or yellow. Originally I was a little disappointed with that, but they're just back ups to each other. I could go and spend the same money for a couple "better" frogs, or get 18 and catch just as many fish. I think they're definitely worth it.

When I buy top water frogs I like to bend the hooks up to insure that the hook is set on a fish. When I bent the hooks they broke . I did catch fish but the hooks are cheap and the body takes on water , causing the lure to sink .

These aren't the highest quality lures. But for as many and the variety that you get in sizes and colors its totally worth it. It showed up in a very timely manner. Two days after my son and I picked them out. We have a small lake in the backyard full of blue gill and small mouth bass. The bass love these lures!

honest mans answer : the tails could use some more strands and different color stomachs but still great buy

These lures are great for the price, but I was expecting a little more variety in size. There are only three sizes. Small, Extra Small, and TINY. I was hoping for at least a couple of larger lures. Even so, If you are looking for a lot of basic, affordable, and good quality top water lures, go with these.

I'm writing pretty much the same review that I wrote for the cheap mice.. You get what you pay for.. Theyre cheaply made, eyes fall off, puncture pretty easily. But,... Theres a lot of different colors, there are a lot of baits for the money, they do catch fish in lilypads and thick weeds.. In my book, still a good deal.. If I manage to lose all mine, id probably buy them again

I haven’t had a chance to use them yet but after opening and checking them out they seem just as good as most of the frog lures. Obviously not the same as some of the high end ones but I already had a couple very similar to these in my box. No doubt in my mind these will get the job done

So here is the Deal, these are not booyah brand frogs by any stretch. The tops and side are all painted vividly and nicely, most of them come with silver bellies and some have mildly colored bellies. The Skirted legs have a tendency to slip and slide when it gets hammered by a fish and the frog body will rotate easily on the hooks shank. That being said, these frogs DO and WILL catch fish when properly worked in the right areas and right conditions. They cast very nicely and sit in the water nicely, mimicking hoe a live frog would and have nice sharp hooks. All in all, if you're looking for decent frogs without spend $8 a hit, than these are totally worth it. I knocked the two stars off solely on the skirted legs sliding and the body rotation around the hook because it made removing the frog a royal pain the grass. Happy fishing and tight lines!

There was good movement from the lure while reeling it in the only bad things was there were little nips at it and no big bites, but that was the pond I went to's fault I did receive all 18 lures for 16.99 which is an amazing price.

For the price you can’t beat it. I noticed they work better if you swap the small weight from the small frogs and put them in the large frog.
Also you need to bend the hooks up for or it’s hard to set the hook.
