DerekC : I like them!

Excellent lure for working the weeds, I do recommend setting the hooks. They're tight to the body which I know is intended to keep them weedless BUT it also affects the strike. After watching several Youtube videos and seeing other anglers use these I decided to follow suit and use my needle nose pliers to bend the hooks up just a wee bit. Lots of videos on Youtube explaining how. I'm glad I made the adjustments to mine.

Jay : They don’t float

They don’t float whatsoever because the hole where the hook protrudes was too large. I found a solution....I put some aquarium sealant In the hole where the hook protrudes so it floats better and doesn’t fill with water as quickly. NOTE: if your going to do this, poke 3-4 needle holes in the top of the hollow body so the air can escape when The lure is bitten down on by a fish. I Caught two small bass within a few minutes steady retrieving but this lure is way too small to land you any large bass. I don’t have snakeheads where I live, but I believe this would be excellent for them.

These LOOK really good in photos, but those photos don't tell the whole story. I have three major complaints: (1) They sink, almost immediately, and stay sunk. (2) The hooks bend way too easily. (3) They smell terrible. The off-gassing from the plastic used is really, really strong. No fish in it's right mind would go anywhere near these lures.

They're garbage. Don't waste your money.

I love these mice. The spoon trailer works great. The long tail will likely be put off after a couple of strikes. The lure works fine without it. If the lure starts to sink, just squeeze out the water and it will float again.
