Answer: the last time i bought them i bought4 in the bluegill color thats all they had i lost thee on big fish that end up snapping my line
Answer: Just one. It is very small, about the length of ones thumb. Seems to be geared for freshwater use in my opinion.
Answer: I have 75 different colors depending on where you fish. Because there are fish attracted to shiny or opaque colors

Answer: The actual size of the body itself is 2 1/2 inches. Here's the insane (WTF) response i got from Rapala about this:
Answer: about 2 inches as far as fast it sinks i just cast out and reel in it depends how fast you reel in it usualy gets down to the top of the weeds and rocks you have to experement with it
Answer: Including the rear treble-hook it's about 2.5" long. How long it takes to sink depends on how deep that you want it to go. When I cast it I give it a moment before cranking it and when it gets to shore it's cruising just above the bottom, but it will snag on hidden debris. Stop cranking as soon as the drag stops winding, let it pause so that it'll float up a little and try again. The only time that I've lost this lure was when my cast went into a tree on shore. This is my favorite lure.

Some ratting lures have gotten way too loud in my opinion. You can hear them coming 30 ft away. How loud is this one?
Answer: not sure how to answer this ,, but best I can do is to say it catch's bass and have gotten a few small Northern pike in the 18-22 inch range
Answer: It is not the loudest rattler in my tackle but it is more like medium. I really like this model especially in a fish species color pattern.

Answer: yes they are put on with split rings

Answer: Lighter test should help, but I would just get the larger lure for added weight. Sometimes when you add a sinker you can change the entire presentation, which may decrease the effectiveness of the lure.

Answer: as mentioned before, it would mainly depend on the natural baitfish present in one's waters(I see you're in Texas, so the following advice will be right on), but in general, early spring would be for crayfish patterns, spring/early summer is for bluegill patterns, and late summer/fall calls for shad patterns, and the later in the fall, try the bigger sizes as the shad are bigger by this time of year.
Answer: it all depends on the bate fish in the lake or river your fishing

Answer: I don't use much over 8 lb test monofilament line, but that depends too on how light or heavy tackle you use....

Answer: I like them, but I prefer x jointed lures. I only use them in umbrella rigs when I'm trolling in my kayak.

Answer: They can but they être not designed for saltwater so they will rust over time. You can still replace the hooks with saltwater hooks! I personally use them in saltwater, they are great!

One of my all time favorites! First of all, let me be clear: It's a rapala... OF COURSE it catches fish! I can honestly say that I've never used a rapala lure that DIDN'T catch a fish. But the RNR-5 in the shad pattern is one of the very first lures I learned how to fish as a kid. I've caught all kinds on it over the years and have replaced it time and time again. This is one of the best lipless crankbaits on the market at one of the best prices around. Cheap and effective. Fish it on a straight retrieve (simply throw it out and reel it in) Or you can yo-yo it (lift and drop) when that big fish grabs it, set the hook and hang on!

Used this lure casting from a dock into a lake that has been stocked once this year. Just from looking at it it looks cheaply made. Used it 2 consecutive days in the morning and evening when the bass were hungriest. I caught nothing not even a bite. My husband was using nightcrawler and was pulling in some big large mouth bass. One if had been legal to keep was worth having mounted. That's all he used and was bringing in fish after fish. I was really disappointed, enough so that I through it away. Might be worthwhile if used trolling.

I bought two of these. One silver color one shad color/pattern. I tried for hours in a pond full of bass. To see if it was the right time if they take the bait etc I tried other baits such as spinners or worms etc. They work fine. I catch within 10-15 minutes of trying. I am still yet to catch anything with this lure. I have been using their other lures in saltwater (xrap) so I am familiar with them. Yet this lure hasn't worked for me so far. Other than that it looks nice ... Moves like a real fish in the water, but if it doesn't catch anything, who cares?

Works well but takes a bit to get to working it just right and works lot better when ya get in on fish during active times cause it is a sinking lure so need to work it little quicker and in shallows dont work to good, to slow it gets hung up easy.
