Answer: Some hooks on these lures are Mustad hooks, the others are saltwater approval quality as well. They perform well in most fishing situation.

Answer: I'm sure you can! The treble hooks are attached with split rings, so I would guess that you could remove, and replace the hooks.

What kind of fish do these catch? Any good for red drum?

Answer: They are a little light for drum, so it makes them a bit hard to cast into the ocean. They are better suited for the bay or sound. I am sure if you ran across a drum, it would hit on it. But its going to be a lot of work to keep it out there!

Answer: We bought them for surf casting, hoping to get large salt water fish ie: shark? Covid canceled our trip, and we'll have to wait until next year.

What pound monofilament works best with these lures?

Answer: If you want the line to have the right characteristics when snapping their wrist to work the bait, you can use a slightly lighter pound test mono 10lb to 14lb. If you want to float higher, you can use a heavier 15lb. to 20lb. Hope this will help you!

Answer: replacing the hooks would probably work, but it seems to me to be a bit much effort when you can buy a higher quality bait for just a few bucks more. the baits definitely work at attracting fish... i had plenty of hits, but they're just not sturdy enough for the bigger species. at any rate, good luck.

Very good action. Lovely zig zag swim on both slow or fast retrieve. Divers ... well, they dive with good control.
I've got other lures that cost as much as these 6 and so far I'm pleased. Unfortunately smashed one on some mussel beds, but not before it took this bass.

while these beauties certainly attract the fish, hooking them is an entirely different story. weak hooks will break or straighten on every strike. keep looking. there are better baits on the market.

I recently bought these lures for use in saltwater fishing. I saw these advertised as saltwater ready lures and was sold due to the fact that it was a cheap alternative to rapala lures and some others. This lure has great action in the water, however the terminal tackle(hooks) started rusting after the very first time fishing with it even though I even washed it with freshwater right after. This would be a good lure for freshwater but they shouldn't advertise saltwater if they aren't made for it. Otherwise they have nice colors and swim pretty well in the water.

I received the product very promptly.
I was more than pleased at the quality. Even more satisfied with the way they fished. This week I caught some pike, largemouth and walleye with these lures.
I was pretty concerned about the hooks quality before putting the order. But it surprised me that some of them are Mustad trebles and all seems saltwater tolerant. Just as tough as those more expensive hooks, didn't bend easily. Great corrosion resistance, well for the price!
Very good overall experience. Would buy it again.

These are great fishing lures. The color looks better than the pictures. Each one comes in its own package. Each lure has 2 treble hooks. The lure has good weight which will allow for easier casting and diving of the lure. The lure is just short of 5 inches (see picture, a little shorter then a pen). Between the reflection of the lure, colors and coloring of eye this will get a fish attention in a hurry.
It is perfect size for most saltwater fish and some big freshwater fish. The lures swim well and look natural. The lures seem to be made well and look like they will last. I love how the it reflects light and the 3d eyes.

Finally had time to test these lures. Lures swam well and received a lot attention on the water. My biggest problem with a lot of major companies ( rapala,yo zuri) has been the back end of lure splitting , ending with rear hook pulling out and leaving lure useless. This was not the case here, however the split rings and hooks were lacking durability. With every fish landed at least 1 split ring broke off or a hook was near straightened. This is an easy fix way more preferable then the lure splitting. I do indeed like these lures and will easily give 5 stars if not for these minor issues.

I have caught a Bass with my first outing with the shallow diver. When casting one of the lures the link at the front came out and i watched it disappear into the distance never to be seen again. I was a bit disappointed with this. But they work and they give you a good coverage for fishing different stages of the tide. Not a bad action,

These are good lures, can’t speak for long term quality but I caught a pollock on the first time out with them. I guess I wish they described they made it clear these are different weights, and bizarrely quite a spread- as a result this means it is unlikely you’ll be able to use all of them with the same rod- on the lighter end we have 13g (which my 15-40g spin rod actually handles well) - but the heavier end we have a nice big sinker at 50g which I dare not try for fear of damaging my rod- it looks lovely - and don’t doubt for a min it will catch a whole bunch but wish they targeted a slimmer range of casting weights

These lures although a good length, with a rattle, are very thin and light and would be suited to a lightweight freshwater lure rod, not a beachcaster as described and would be okay for perch, pike and chub but they would not cast far enough to be effective from the seashore or pier.They are good quality with a good paint job.
