What color works best for winter Florida Gulf Coast and marsh fishing ?

Answer: Can't tell you about Florida but I fish the coast of Texas and I have caught fish on all colors. The tiger and the pink seem to do the best for me. But I do have all colors. Love these baits

Answer: The gold & pink colors have been working best for me, usually under a popping cork while drifting the grass flats.

Answer: Around I use pink and the chartreuse under a popping cork. The occasional puffer fish wrecks havoc on the lure but it catches lots of trout

Answer: To be honest I haven’t measured it, but looks to be 3/0.

Answer: Dear Sir or Ma'am, we are going off of others feedback on the Egret Baits when we say they are durable to the elements. We would like to say, some fish have a bigger bite than others, so anything is possible.

Answer: Yes they do bite the tail off. First use and tail was bit clean off.

Answer: These are way more durable.. just keep them dry, away from heat and other plastics.. they last a wile.. I catch different species of fish with that all the time.

Answer: I think it was 2, but can't remember for sure. However, it is a very effective bait! I use if all the time.

Have you or anyone used this for summe flounder/fluke in the North East region?

Answer: Juan, we have heard that good numbers of Flounder have been turning up. Live Shrimp or the Vudu Shrimp by Egret will be best to hook for sure. Safe travels and fishing!

Answer: I have caught a lot of flounder in texas with these lures. Also red drum, speckled trout and a couple sheepshead. They look like live shrimp when jigging. Very effective and tough. Just don't get them near other plastics. They melt.

Answer: I'm not positive but I am saying about 1/2 oz. I forget because I haven't used it since summer. I know it's don't have much weight inside the jig. I hope that helps a little. I think it should list it if not mistaken ???

Tried it on saltwater trout off cedar key at a bad time of year. Gulp produced zero bites. This landed two nice size keepers.

Francis Mastriacovo : Wrong size. Advertised as 3.50 inch. Received all 3.25 inch.

Ordered several colors or the 3.50 inch Vudu shrimp. ALL of them were 3.25 inch. The Vudu shrimp itself is a great lure. But this listing is incorrect. Do not buy here if you want the 3.50 inch.

I returned all of them except one. For some reason one of them wasn't eligible for return and I had to keep it. No big deal. It's a good lure and the price was fine. Just not the correct size.

I use this brand and color exclusively. I fish south Louisiana and make my own double rigs, fish with and without a popping cork. To increase your action, use popping corks that are both waited and that have plastic beads to create rattle. None the less, VUDU shrimp is by far the BEST immatation shrimp bait on th e market, last the longest and out performs ANY other plastic shrimp. It will out perform a live minnow! I keep no less than 20-30 in my tackle box in addition to having 6-10 rods already rigged. Simply put, there is no better plastic shrimp. The heavier weighted VUDU I use in stronger currents and offshore. Increase your catch with sprays and gels.

I'm a guide...and will be clear as a bell...THIS is SUPER on Redfish & Specks...you will outfish your buddies who use live shrimpys. Listen up...different h20 colors correlate to different lure colors, and watch your tides, winds and weather charts. I like natural for reds, and pink when speckled sea trout are running.

This lure is holding up great after being used a couple of times. It was hit once but not taken. I thought it might be (shrimp) toast after the hit but it came back whole. Will keep trying.

I used the Vudu Shrimp to target Sheepshead in the Gulf of Mexico. The fish were attracted to the shrimp but unfortunately after 5 bites and 2 Sheepshead later the entire shrimp tail was removed from both Shrimp. Leaving only the head of the shrimp left. So very life like but not durable enough for my intended target species.

These are great for fishing the flats or inshore areas that you wish to catch redfish, trout, snook, and pretty much anything that eats shrimp! They are tough as nails and you can catch many fish on one lure. Like anything... different colors work at different times, for different reasons. A staple inshore bait!

Use these almost exclusively for inshore on a popping cork. Will catch a few dozen teout before coming apart and out-fishes DOA shrimp all day. Have caught everything from flounder to snook on them.
