Answer: Can't tell you about Florida but I fish the coast of Texas and I have caught fish on all colors. The tiger and the pink seem to do the best for me. But I do have all colors. Love these baits

Answer: The gold & pink colors have been working best for me, usually under a popping cork while drifting the grass flats.

Answer: Around I use pink and the chartreuse under a popping cork. The occasional puffer fish wrecks havoc on the lure but it catches lots of trout

Answer: Dear Sir or Ma'am, we are going off of others feedback on the Egret Baits when we say they are durable to the elements. We would like to say, some fish have a bigger bite than others, so anything is possible.

Answer: Yes they do bite the tail off. First use and tail was bit clean off.

Answer: These are way more durable.. just keep them dry, away from heat and other plastics.. they last a wile.. I catch different species of fish with that all the time.

Answer: I think it was 2, but can't remember for sure. However, it is a very effective bait! I use if all the time.

Have you or anyone used this for summe flounder/fluke in the North East region?

Answer: Juan, we have heard that good numbers of Flounder have been turning up. Live Shrimp or the Vudu Shrimp by Egret will be best to hook for sure. Safe travels and fishing!

Answer: I have caught a lot of flounder in texas with these lures. Also red drum, speckled trout and a couple sheepshead. They look like live shrimp when jigging. Very effective and tough. Just don't get them near other plastics. They melt.

Answer: I'm not positive but I am saying about 1/2 oz. I forget because I haven't used it since summer. I know it's don't have much weight inside the jig. I hope that helps a little. I think it should list it if not mistaken ???

I caught 2 flounder and a red fish with these in Galveston wade fishing. Nothing else was working , but these shrimp. With a lil action and a slow retrieve it really looks like a real shrimp bouncing along the water. Get it.

These are great for fishing the flats or inshore areas that you wish to catch redfish, trout, snook, and pretty much anything that eats shrimp! They are tough as nails and you can catch many fish on one lure. Like anything... different colors work at different times, for different reasons. A staple inshore bait!

I have used both the smaller and larger VUDU Shrimp.
I use the smaller one under a popping cork. Just throw it out, pop it every 5 seconds or so and if there are fish there, they will bite.
I also use the bigger VUDU on just a flurocarbon leader and catch pretty good over reefs.
I catch Flounder, Speckled Trout, Redfish and anything that bites on Shrimp.
Lot cheaper than live Shrimp, and catches just as good.
I have even caught Bass in areas we were fishing for Redfish.
My favorite color is the Natrual Shrimp VUDU. Nothing works better.

Came in a 2 pack instead of one which was great. Caught a few snook on it the first time I used it, but after I put it in my tackle box in the FL. heat, the plastic melted and the tail is now deformed. The second one I used only lasted 2 fish before the tail ripped off. Good lure with nice action, but it's just not durable enough..

I've used this only on brief occasion with no luck in the past. But yesterday we ran out of bait shrimp so I tied it a couple of feet below a popping cork and caught a small redfish. The game fish weren't biting much that day. But I think if we had been on the trout I would have landed several with this lure. Don't store this lure in the same tray as other plastic lures. They will melt. Keep them separate.

I’ve fished speckled trout in south Louisiana for 45 years. I can count on one hand how many times I’ve used live bait. I love fishing artificial because YOU have to make the fish bite not let the live bait work for you. Anyway I’ve caught thousands of trout on many artificial baits including shad rig, sparkle beetle, shrimp worm , tsunami and many other successful baits however nothing and I repeat nothing has been as effective as voodoo shrimp!! If the trout are in a frenzy you can catch them on a bare hook! I know I’ve done it! However if you want an edge get you a couple 3.5 inch voodoo shrimp in either Cajun pepper or gold and fish them under a H&H TKO cork! If you don’t catch trout w this set up then you won’t catch them w much else! Trust me this works! As far as durability I’ve caught as much as 200 trout on a single lure. I’ve also had a blue fish bite one in half on the first cast! Either way they are way cheaper than most baits per fish caught.. I have no relationship w egret baits. This is an honest review by an avid trout fisherman

I used to be a huge DOA Shrimp fan, but after years of using them, they stopped impressing me. I decided to switch to the Savage Gear Shrimp. Equally unimpressive, especially for the price. A friend then introduced me to these Vudu Shrimp. I was blown away when I saw that he was pulling in redfish after redfish right next to me when I only managed to nab 2 or 3. The baits are made of a super tough material. I've never had one rip or tear, even when they get attacked by puffers. The hooks are super strong and I've never had one bend. You'll only lose these if you break off. The best part about them is the price on Amazon is hard to beat for this color pattern. You cannot beat this product if you're looking for a Shrimp imitation to use on the flats. Reds, Trout, Snook, Flounder, Jack, they all love Vudu Shrimp.

I'm not sure what it is. You can tell this is good quality material and sturdy, won't get chewed up easily. Heck, this shrimp looks so authentic, I'd go after it if I was a fish. But I've practically landed it in the mouth of a few Reds and Specks, but have only gotten them to bite a few times. Maybe I am using it wrong, I dunno. Berkley Gulp Shrimp on a jig head work way better and more cost affective. It must be the infused "Gulp" scent I guess. Plus you only get two Vudus, and your paying $8.
