how many oxygen indicators come with this set?

Do these have zip lock?

Answer: No once heat sealed they cant be resealed.

Will they hold 3 oz of beef jerky cut into bite size pieces?

Answer: Yes! We sell 4-5 oz of jerky in that bag.

Answer: Yes definitely!

Can this hold 2.5 oz of jerky?

Answer: Yes. I normally put 2.5 to 4 oz in each bag.

Can you use an iron to seal these bags?

Answer: I have used an iron to seal the bags it takes a bit and you can see little bubbles from where you sealed it at but it is completely doable just uses a parchment paper, fold in half and insert the bag in between and then iron. Hope that helps

Answer: I suppose it’s possible, but I wouldn’t recommend it. There are small handheld bag sealers you could purchase instead. Probably safer and less messy too ????

How do I seal my bags if I don’t have a vacuum

Answer: You have to have to have some type of sealing machine. I use a small vacuum sealer. The bags do not vacuum because the inside is smooth but it will seal it. They are well made I use them for my jerky business and they hold up well.

Answer: I used an iron. Jus a quick swipe or press when it’s hot and your fine!

Will these work with a Food Saver vacuum sealer?

Answer: Yes they will.

Be sure you read the full description before you order! Also, the oxygen scavengers are vacuum packed; hopefully I can use my heat sealer to keep the lot from going bad.
