This is my second one that does not heat up up or seal. new batteries put in correctly. extremely frustrated. cannot reach company. help?

Answer: I found it hard to figure out how to install the batteries, then I figured it out. Honestly its a piece of trash, if you can return for a refund do it. I will return for a refund.

Once you get the hang of it, it works. Creates a very thin heat sealed seam even on metallic plastic chip bags.

This little bag sealer was hard to get to work at first because apparently it doesn't like AA rechargeable batteries that are only at 1.2 volts, (even Duracell ones) so I put in a set of 1.5 Volt Alkaline batteries and it works great.
One thing I will say move the sealer fast when sealing something or it will melt right thru and literally cut the bag while it seals it shut. But it only took me a couple of times to get it right.
This is so much better than putting a "Chip Bag Clip" on stuff after you open it, because those things don't really seal the bag up very well...this mini sealer makes them air tight.
I even tested a bag of Fruity Gummies under water and they were still dry.
And it's portable so you can take it with you to work or camping...I definitively recommend this product.

This mini bag sealer works effectively. I really like how small and compact it is. It is very portable and easy to carry with me anywhere. This works well with many types of plastic bags that I have. The seal is tight enough that no bugs could get through. This is a great product overall.

Shoot this thing is great for the price. It’s a cool little gadget. You do have to be careful with how long you try to seal the bag though. You gotta be quick or it will just melt through. Just play with it and you will figure it out. It does work though. Does not come with batteries which for the price that should be expected. The gadget itself though really isn’t just a cheap piece of plastic thrown together. It’s not industrial type grade but it’s not bad either. Does include a razor blade so that comes in handy if you don’t have your scissors close by. I personally think this thing is worth ha I g around. For the price you really can’t go wrong.

This product works well in my experience. It seals bags efficiently but is a little hard to use. You have to make sure you seal the bag in one swipe or else it does not really seal if you try to split up the swipe. Also it does have an okay cutting ability with some effort you can easily reshape bags. The sealer does not come with the batteries but worked fine when I inserted some. It has an easy set up and reliable instructions included. Overall it served its purpose.

This Mini Bag Sealer is great! You do not need long time to wait it heat and you are able to put it anywhere when you done used it. The color of the mini bag sealer is nice and you can use it when you need to seal the candy or cookie bag.

I was a little hesitant getting one of these because I didn’t think it would work but to my surprise these work great. I’ve used two different types of plastic bags and the bag sealer was able to make an airtight seal on them. The only thing is it can be a little difficult doing it with one hand. I have a hard time getting a straight line doing it myself. If someone can hold on to the other side of the opening then it should be considerably more easy and make a cleaner seal. I noticed the thinner the plastic the more likely it will burn the ends off (still sealing it). Overall, it works as it should and I will continue using it. Now I can put my bag clips in storage.

This for me was hard to figure out. It took me awhile to be able to slide the part back to both operate it and put the batteries in it. The instructions are very small. This was the hardest part of it. Now that I know how to do that, it was easy to operate. I tried it on a bagged salad mix and it actually worked! I did it a couple of times to make sure it was sealed good. I let it sit for a few seconds before continuing to slide it to across. For me, it does attach to the fridge (I have an older model fridge). I will see how long the salad mix stays fresh.
Not sure how long it will last and I will update if needed.

So for a few months I've been using a hair straightener to deal these so it's nice to have this in such small form factor.
It actually works and pretty good too. I just put two batteries in and tried to comprehend the instructions. I couldn't do that so I just started to play with it and noticed that if I just applied the pressure and swiped it across, it actually was working and I felt the heat. I have no clue how this works it actually trips me out because there is no power button or anything and it doesn't get hot. Really cool device here that actually does what it's supposed to. I haven't had to change the batteries yet and I've used it maybe a dozen times.
One thing I noticed is press lighter of you're getting ugly seals.

This item sealed in places and not in others, had to run it over the package really slow and many times to get it to even seal. It is not a very good product as far as i'm concerned.

I got this because I have been having a big ant problem getting into my cereal with this heat. I finally found the solution with this! I tested it as soon as I got it, and it really does seal it back up! All you need is 2 AA batteries and you're good to go. We leave it on the side of our fridge, the magnet on the back is really convenient.

I don’t think I could honestly recommend this item. I do not feel that it is worth 19.99. I feel that the sealing mechanism is alittle to warm and actually splits the bag. Although it does seal the bag, it is alittle bulky and feels awkward trying to seal the bag. While there is a blade to cut open the bag, its position and way you have to hold the sealer to cut open the bag it just feels wrong. It seems like a great idea, but feel there is room for improvement.

This Trighteach Portable Mini Bag Sealer is great for potato chip bags, frozen food bags, or in my case, bags of beads. It seals the bags well and you can open the bag with the knife included in the end. I used it to seal a bag of frozen food and it worked wonderfully.

I like to have never understood what I was supposed to slide to get to the battery case. There is a picture with arrows but to me, it was not clear. I slide the button for the knife and almost cut myself. I finally determined from the picture and I was supposed to lift the top up and back then slid the center section. Also, to use this sealer I finally understood that I was supposed to slide the center section a little for it to work. Like most people, I didn't read the instruction well and most of my problems were my own doing.

I will be recommending this Trighteach Portable Mini Bag Sealer to family and friends. I love it!
