This is my second one that does not heat up up or seal. new batteries put in correctly. extremely frustrated. cannot reach company. help?

Answer: I found it hard to figure out how to install the batteries, then I figured it out. Honestly its a piece of trash, if you can return for a refund do it. I will return for a refund.

This actually works pretty darn well. I was surprised to be honest. I tried it on ziplock bag type texture and lays chips texture and it worked for both. Though it does do what it should it is obviously a cheaply made Chinese gadget and for the price that’s what I was expecting and that’s what I got. I don’t see this holding up super well or anything like that. It does have a magnet on it to presumably put it on your fridge or something but the magnet is so weak that it doesn’t actually work enough to hold it up and in place. It just slides down the fridge... but I’m mostly happy with it!

Shoot this thing is great for the price. It’s a cool little gadget. You do have to be careful with how long you try to seal the bag though. You gotta be quick or it will just melt through. Just play with it and you will figure it out. It does work though. Does not come with batteries which for the price that should be expected. The gadget itself though really isn’t just a cheap piece of plastic thrown together. It’s not industrial type grade but it’s not bad either. Does include a razor blade so that comes in handy if you don’t have your scissors close by. I personally think this thing is worth ha I g around. For the price you really can’t go wrong.

So for a few months I've been using a hair straightener to deal these so it's nice to have this in such small form factor.
It actually works and pretty good too. I just put two batteries in and tried to comprehend the instructions. I couldn't do that so I just started to play with it and noticed that if I just applied the pressure and swiped it across, it actually was working and I felt the heat. I have no clue how this works it actually trips me out because there is no power button or anything and it doesn't get hot. Really cool device here that actually does what it's supposed to. I haven't had to change the batteries yet and I've used it maybe a dozen times.
One thing I noticed is press lighter of you're getting ugly seals.

I find that this works better on small bags where there's less stress on having it unseal.
That said, it's one of those things that you imagine using, but then don't bother with ...
at least for me.
I mostly stick with the clips.

This is a great size bag sealer. It takes 2 AA batteries and heats up fast. The instructions are not the best but once you slide the cover to put in the batteries, it is pretty easy to use. It seals fast and tight.

This little bag sealer was hard to get to work at first because apparently it doesn't like AA rechargeable batteries that are only at 1.2 volts, (even Duracell ones) so I put in a set of 1.5 Volt Alkaline batteries and it works great.
One thing I will say move the sealer fast when sealing something or it will melt right thru and literally cut the bag while it seals it shut. But it only took me a couple of times to get it right.
This is so much better than putting a "Chip Bag Clip" on stuff after you open it, because those things don't really seal the bag up very well...this mini sealer makes them air tight.
I even tested a bag of Fruity Gummies under water and they were still dry.
And it's portable so you can take it with you to work or camping...I definitively recommend this product.

This is one of those cool gadgets that you don’t know you need so bad until you try it out! So convenient and handy to have and finally got rid of all those ugly bag clips that always seem to break when you need it most. This is super small and has a magnetic back to stick it right on fridge. Quick and easy to use all you do is run it across the bag top and it seals it shut. It took me a couple times to get the technique down...you want to be sure you run it across the bag kind of slow so you seal the whole thing. Also, you don’t want to squeeze too tight or you will tear the bag instead of seal it. Once you get the technique down this gadget is amazing and is going to get a ton of use.

My only complaint is that this does NOT come with batteries so be sure to have a set of AA batteries on hand when it arrives. Other than that, great product that lives up to its promise.

This product works well in my experience. It seals bags efficiently but is a little hard to use. You have to make sure you seal the bag in one swipe or else it does not really seal if you try to split up the swipe. Also it does have an okay cutting ability with some effort you can easily reshape bags. The sealer does not come with the batteries but worked fine when I inserted some. It has an easy set up and reliable instructions included. Overall it served its purpose.

I was excited to get this sealer. I can't use my food saver to close bags like chips and frozen veggies. I have used this sealer on both types of bags. Mini might not describe the size of this sealer. It's tiny. I found it hard to use due to how small it was. I had to go over the same spot multiple times before the bag was completely sealed. To make matters worse, this tiny item has gone missing. I can not find it. You would think that the blue color would help it stand out but it doesn't. I am not happy with this product. (the sealer being misplaced has no bearing on my review, just wanted to mention it.)
