Answer: Not sure on the amperage but it uses a standard 110 outlet.

Answer: There is a silver button on the front of the controller that will change the readout from grill temp to temp probe. It really is that simple.

Answer: The best way to remove the ash is to use a shop vac. There is no removable tray or anything like that. There will not be as much ash as you would think. Every 3rd or 4th use just get the shop vac out.

Answer: The company is based in GA. It like almost all of them are made in China. Traeger at one time was made here in the US but I think they've shipped production over there as well.

Answer: Temperature can range from 165° F to 450° F. Depending on Ambient Temperature, Quality of Pellets, etc. There is a Smoke and High Setting that are not Temperature regulated.

Answer: I do not see a benefit in a smoke stack for a pellet smoker. This one works perfectly without it. This is a very nice grill and they have really outstanding customer service.

It the grill area big enough for an entire packers brisket?
Answer: Yes I've done many packer briskets on mine. And after the brisket Cook's down a bit there's enough room to throw on a rack of baby back ribs or a few ring of sausage or even chicken. It is not a huge Grill in but perfect for a single person or small family. If you have a large family and will be cooking a lot I would suggest the next size up. But I'm single dude hosting playoff parties. It's perfect for me! Hope that helps.

This was a gift for my dad. My husband & I bought a similar Pit Boss grill last year & LOVE it!
When I saw this grill a couple weeks ago, I was disappointed. It is SO short, and just smaller in general that I thought. This is my fault for not paying more attention to the measurements. It works as good as ours, but it just isn't as good of quality from what I could tell. Not as heavy duty (for about the same price mind you). Had I known, I'd have spent a few more dollars & got a Pit Boss likes ours. Saving the money in this case was not worth this... not a big enough cost savings for sure.
My advice - pay attention to the dimensions & make sure you aren't expecting real heavy duty. This is not.

Not the easiest to assemble, I had to call customer support and then remove control panel to complete, but very happy with it once using. So far very good ribs and chicken smoked with it.

The product description read 342 inches of cooking space. The box said 305 inches. The smoker works okay. If I open the lid during cooking to check on the food the temperature will soar 50 degrees when I shut the door. To bring it back down I have to reopen the lid to bring the temp down, then it will keep steady.

I was skeptical because of price. Product works great. Only negative...Sometimes the temp gets away so you have to reset temp. Easy enough just switch off and back on to temp desired.

I will change my review if the replacement works. The auger in the first one didn't work. I had to take the whole thing apart. The 888 number with the instructions is no longer in service. I should be compensated in some way. The last step of course is seeing if it works, it didn't. Day wasted, couldn't do ribs for my friends who came over for a BBQ very disappointed.
