How do I get the handle to move? It seems stuck.

Answer: Have you tried opening the net fully then pulling out the handle?

Does the handle unscrew into two pieces to make it easy to carry?

Answer: Haven’t tried to remove handle, wouldn’t think it’s necessary since it folds nice and compact for a large net.

Does this net float?

Answer: Hi,

Answer: I have not tried it but it likely would float for a short time if you dropped it as it is light and would hold air inside the tube at least for a short time. There is a chance it would float because some of the tubing is sealed. As I said I have not tried it.

Can net be disassembled for packing and how long are individual pole sections?

Answer: It folds up petty small but you can not dissemble it. Pole itself is about 3 ft and net is about 2 ft.

Can I climb in the net like this too without it breaking?

Answer: Well.....as far as being strong enough...I think it could do the trick. Not sure how big you are, but these are probably not huge guys. I could easily see someone 5'6" fitting in here if they aren't too heavy. But this is definitely a nice, durable net. I have boated some large Tuna, Grouper and Muttons. Nice questions though...made me laugh.

Answer: The net is rather large. My husband uses it for fishing and could hold a rather large bull red fish.... hope his helps

Answer: This was a gift for my son. I don’t think it folds up enough to fit in a suitcase, because I had a time wrapping it up for Christmas!

Answer: No thus net does not last. Couldn’t handle coho.

Answer: You probably could but you won't need too as the net itself will likely outlast the frame. Not that the frame isn't sturdy it is. I've landed 30+ pound fish with mine but it has moving parts so it will wear out over time.

Need better directions. Does not indicate turn the handle to tighten. Good for jig fishing I the river. But handle not long enough for trolling in lake for walleyes if netting back of the motor.

Great net! Big enough for 40 something inch Pike! Not so easy to unfold in a pimch. I am a kayak fisherman so once I get on the water I unfold it and clip it to the back of my kayak. I had a smaller frabil and it would just collapse when I tried to get a 30 inch plus fish in it. This one's handled them including my pb at 46 inches

THis is a good product for Salt Water. We catch bigger grouper and I was afraid this would be too small. It can easily take up a 50 pound grouper, and is key when bringing in schoolie mahi. Really like how compact it gets and goes right into the center console.

I was a bit skeptical when I ordered this net due to a few bad reviews.
I am well satisfied with it. This net is well designed and I've landed 14 pound fish with it.
I can recommend it .

Months later : Over the course of being stored in the folded position for about 6 months it seems the net had actually shrank a bit on the hoop making for a very snug fit when opened . The screws that hold the hoop bows into their base have rusted , clearly not stainless steel .
It still seems sturdy , but is not the easy , fast opened net it once was .
